yes it is compatible. Please remember that different phones will not do everything. Honda has a web page that can list all the features for all the different phones. the mail differences between LX and EX are tinted windows, power front seat, alloy rims and Sunroof.

I learned three things with the first 2.5 minutes I didn't read or learn anywhere in any manual by Honda. Kudo's for great video and information.
Thank you for your feedback. Yes I have heard that issue in some of the older Pilots but I think Honda has changed the system and it is much better now.
I don't really do 'reviews' because so many people do them and they cover about everything on the vehicle Except the tips and tricks.
Great Tips, 'Comfortable Runabout Vehicle', my Wife is on her 3rd CRV, We thought it meant 'Compact Recreational Vehicle'...I have a 13 EX-L Accord and an iPhone, I learned a few tricks to apply for my car as well..Thanks Jason.

Wow I learned a few things I haven't known since getting my 2013 CRV
Did your blue tooth ever allow you to make outgoing calls that the receiver of your call could actually understand you when speaking? or did you sound garbled to them? Never could resolve my issue. Honda did not fix. I understand that is the case for hundreds of 2013 honda owners. Toyota's are fine.
I noticed when my front wipers are on, the rear wiper will come on as well if you shift into (R)everse, a nice feature.
I intend to purchase this model year sometime in the near future. I actually test drove one on yesterday, as well as its big brother, the Honda Pilot. I like the way how they both drive.

I started to watch because the title said 2014 which I own. Many of the set up options are different from the 2013 Honda CRV.

When Honda sent us for training back in late 1996 they said "Comfortable Runabout Vehicle" but your way makes more sense LOL Thanks and I'm happy you picked up some new tricks :-D

They are the same around the speedometer but the iMID screen you can change the color.
How often will the Navigation system need to be updated, and what's the cost?
Great tips. I learned more watching your video than my salesman knew.

I got this figured out. In order to get the address book to download fully, a $2 app called "Bluetooth Phonebook" can be used for the car to recognize and download your address book to the car. As far as the texting goes, I went to my Honda dealer and the tech called Honda directly and they told him to order a software update which should be arriving any day now. They hope that will fix the texting issue as I found out it wasn't my phone because it worked in my friend's 2013 Civic.

Congrats on your new CRV. Yes after pressing the 'phone' button select 'NO' and it will prompt you to add a phone. or in the phone settings menu you can 'add' a phone.

Yes you can leave a battery disconnected for a 10 month period. I would recommend driving the car for the brakes and some fluids to move around.
@4:45 you would be so surprised at how many of these cars that will NOT let you adj the CUSTOM settings. It's some type of software issue and when you finally get it changed at random it goes back to where it was. There are tricks that sometimes work like Opening the drivers door and closing it again then put the e-brake on then turn the key to the #3 on without starting the engine and then putting the car in drive BUT it doesn't always work. Very frustrating.
I just bought the EX-L AWD. I tried the Subaru (owned a Subaru in the past); Ford Fusion and picked the Honda ( owned a 1980 and 2008 Civic purchased new) I also have a4x4 Suburban LT. I test drove each. For my needs the CR-v was roomy and comfortable. Since I own cars for very long periods of time, I went with the EX-L for the extra features over the base model. I do not worry about pizzaz or impressing other drivers. Car is very nice and functional.

My CRV is a 2013 /6 Model the Manual is not in English. How do i set it
@@charleskiragu1735 if you can't read that manual, you can use a camera app to translate it for you by simply using the camera and show what does it say and for it to translate it for you.

they are specifics on the size of the pic. you have to resize them prior to loading them into your flash drive then to your crv. the info on the size needed is in the manual.
You can pair up to 4 phones but you can only use or 'connect' with one at a time.

I mean it when I say I ran screaming to the garage during this video not just once, to pair my phone, but a second time as well to change the automatic lock and unlock door settings.
I had assumed there was no bluetooth since there was no obvious bluetooth button.

My first suggestion is to clear the system on the car. Then remove the battery in the phone and try to reconnect the phone to the car. If that doesn't work please Email me.

Jason , had my 2013 CRV for two years now, I just realize the feature of after you cut your car off and the windows is still down . the CRV allow time to wind up your windows even after you take your key out of the ignition .
most modern cars have this feature, not just Hondas.

I don't know much about the Auto fold mirrors. I looked for some info but couldn't find much. If you can it should be in the owners manual. Honda Australia also has a good FB page. you could ask them also

There is a setting in the audio setting screen named RDS. It should be turned on.

I have had my CRV EXL for a few weeks now. Jason, when you talk to Honda tell them to have the drive selector light up the drive you are in. The steering wheel can block the view. Better if the letters on the shifter lights up. Also, o for the digital speedodemeter over the analog deal now. I am getting 26 at highway speeds thus far (65-75).

Using a touchscreen Honda Radio, how do you get in to developer mode, and take a snap shot (screenshot)to a USB stick? Do you know more than just the basic features that only old people have trouble with?

My phone connects to the blue tooth but whenever anyone calls me, I can hear them clearly, but I sound underwater to them. Honda dealers never cured the problem with hearing clearly. Paid for the equipment and it never worked or was corrected. It works in their bay but as soon as you are out on the road, people I make calls too cannot understand me. Not good for safety. Idk why there was never a recall? Mine is a 2013. So my phone connects but is not useable.
Is there not a software update for this problem? Has anyone else solved their issue if you had this same problem? You couldn't call for an emergency vehicle using the car bluetooth connection. You'd sound underwater.
