When you add the additional wood stop the truss from going past the post I'm wondering if it would be helpful to add an additional 2x4 spacer so that the truss would just slide straight down. Since I've never done this I'm not sure if this would be helpful or would not be a concern? The other item I'm wondering about would be adding the stops when the posts are on the ground. It looked like you were adding them as you went along. You would wind up using more wood but would make putting the trusses up fast. At least that is one of the things I'm thinking. Also, are you using #10x6 or #14X6 screws, both are BTX type. I also noticed the screws that you used on the last truss seem to have a washer style head, what screws are those?
This kind of building is very new, and yet, it is very old; using the best parts of the past and present. I don't really care about the financial aspects of the build, I am old and tired. But you never know what the future will bring.
Always enjoy watching these videos. Interesting 6” truss head screw thru a 2x4 purlin, that’s even better. Nice
Love the work one day I’ll be able to build or have the money to have ours built
Thanks for watching!
What type and brand of screws are you using for perlins. What type of screws or bolts for attachment of truss to walls

If you framed post by post like stick framing how would you go about it
Is that a 3/12 pitch for the vaulted ceiling? And may I ask how much those trusses cost?
