I commented my current husky a 450 was a bit small for all I was doing and my son asked what saw would I want and I jokingly said Billy Ray said a 372 can't be beat. It showed up for my birthday soon after. That saw is rediculous, Thanks Billy, I have learned quite a bit watching your videos. Keep it up.
I have a 450 as well. I was starting to think my saw was underpowered. My bar got stuck in a pine that had a huge amount of lean. I undercut it a bit too much. I got the bar out but couldn't free the chain so I put a brand new chain on it and it cut like a laser. Turns out my sharpening skills need a lot of work. With the new chain I cut the pine up quickly and had no issues cutting up a large white oak. I think I'll stick with the 450 until I've got the skills to handle a pro saw.
Thank you for all your work and all that goes into making videos. I find that when you have a camera man you make it more of a tutorial. I love learning and not having to move a camera to deal with frees you up to teach. Thank you for all again.

finally a movie about 562! bought a 592 2 months ago. I had a husqvarna 42s before so thought it might as well go for the biggest one. but now you have to click home a 562 :D
Love your videos!! Having a camera person is very useful!! Learning to trust them to get the best angles can be challenging!! I personally like the videos where there is very little camera movement!! When there is i get motion sickness from the sudden movement!! Definitely keep up the videos I have learned alot from you!!

Loved several comments you gave: pick the proper saw, dont need an 86'er to deal with that wood. "FIND YOUR CHAIN", SO TRUE. I use full skip chain to fall with. Dont want a fast aggressive chain, I prefer better control as to not do something stupid .😊
I have definitely enjoyed the different point of view, so to speak, of having a "Videographer" filming for you. Nothing wrong with filming your own, just appreciative of the change of flow, I guess. Love Ya!

I like the format. "You can't see the mountain because you're standing on it". If you could find a "retired" faller to run the camera, that may help. I think after tyler or any full time camera man learns how you like to do everything and knows what to watch for this type of video production could be awesome. That being said if you (buckin) have to tell your camera man where to stand, what to shoot etc that would probably be worse than you working the camera yourself. No disrespect to anyone. Two things, and perhaps often overlooked, not using 'too' powerful a tool for doing a job when felling (one could have blasted in there using a 592 and bullied it around, and maybe a 562 is a better approach). A lot of hardwood fellers back in the day tried 3120's and just returned back to 39x tools, because the 3120 was too much. And part of the reason why those same guys like the Stihl 500i nowadays, I think is because it's a smaller tool as well. But not short on capabilities. The other point was brought up in a recent episode, standing position so as to be able to look at the structures around. How many folks who felled this tree, firstly would have bullied it into submission with overwhelming fire power? And second, would have turned their back to the structure?
Is that Husqvarna 562 ported and does it have a different exhaust? Because I know, if I walk into the dealership and tell them I want to run a 562 or 362 with a 24 or 28 inch bar, they will tell me that the saw is too small for that. 😅🤣
I also like this format! I think it frees you up to be a really great teacher, to be honest💪 i watch some other content that utilize a go pro on the chest to show some pretty awesome fpv shots, as an idea too. (I know you like to stich in awesome action shots😉).

You did an extra little cut @13:27 on the undercut part of the Humboldt. What was that? were you just taking the corner off so it fell that bit further without snapping the hinge? Please. Also I’m happy with non edited raw video. You don’t need to be a first class editor. Primary job felling trees good content. If you do get more time for explanation that’s gonna be good

To me it's better if you had a camera guy. I've seen other videos when they had a camera guy. I believe that it would help you out plus you can show what you're explaining things better
I know that saw isnt stock, but seems so many run a long bar they don't need, or thats to much for the saw. A 60cc saw a 20 in bar suits "me" perfect, sometimes a 24, but they get nose heavy.
The format with a cameraman is great. If you are willing to go through the effort, it would be good, if you use a wireless microphone at your chin and a action camera on your head too. This way you could explain while cutting and we have to camera angles to see what you are doing. It's extra effort, but for the quality of your videos, it probably would be worth it.

Helene also came to visit me and I have used Billy’s videos to learn a lot while clearing up trees in South Carolina.

i didnt know 545 would be least talked about. muffler has been opened up a bits,washer switched so i can run 3/8 pitch. its doing ok!
