I watched them practice Relentless live in Atlanta Georgia when I was a junior in high school. I was the baritone section leader and we were on a band trip to see DCI Atlanta as well. Absolutely mind blowing how loud that 2016 horn line was considering we were outside with no dome reverb. Insanely moving and life changing experience.
I remember the horn player that broke his leg in the 2010 finals. Gruesome to see, but the courage it took for him to get healed & come back to age out was extraordinary!!!
@@Crown_678 13 is the only time they received a perfect 20 for brass so it really is crowns best finals work 🤷🏽♀️. Doesn't matter about show by this metric, it's literally their cleanest show and their best placement

2019. Terribly underated.
The chord resolution in the final set of '12. Beyond epic.
Crown ‘16 doesn’t get enough love…WHEW!!!
Crown 16 is definitely one of my favorites
@@CrownFan same!

@@CCrinklebottom Thats sounds like an amazing experience
@@drnukenuggets8732 It was something special. Not to glaze, but it was very angelic sounding. Triumphant yet beautiful.

Yea. The Samuel Barber in '16 opener.

2017 at b is actually mind numbing
@@framelag You had to see the other shows at their peak to understand.
"Now just own it" from 2022 got snubbed from the list that was such a cool moment to see in person
IMO crown 12 and 17 are crowns best shows
13 and 16 are right there
@@roxanajohnson2789 not a fan of 13 but I do love 16, really just 12-17 (not 13) are crowns finest work

@@Crown_678u wildin, 13 is the best drum corps show ever
@@mattyteerifles2863 the only time the show is good is when the brass play actual dci level stuff, and that’s for 2 minutes

What about Bohomia and the 2007 Kentucky Derby. It was fun and the music was amazing.
Seems.... Familiar....
Gotta be honest I did not realize you uploaded a similar video before I did, sorry about that. I had this video planned months before anyways.
@@CrownFan nah it’s fine, yours is better than mine anyway
