I’m getting this complete setup right now. ✌️ people willing to pay for $1000 iPhone with same features only use it for texting and photo taking and yet nobody goes bonkers because of the price. Tesla factory sound is good for those who don’t like messing around with the system. I listen to only high end audio and I have experience huge difference. I trust Apline’s quality 💯
I see you all have the Alpine EV-100SWY-T 10-inch EV-Series Subwoofer selling separately. Can this be installed only just for a subwoofer upgrade? In other words can i just remove the stock subwoofer and install the alpine one plug for plug.
Any system solutions for 2024 Model S Plaid? Just did an Alpine 507, HDZ-653S components powered by r2-a60f, RS-SB12, powered by s2-a60m in my van and it’s amazing. Any degradation in sound quality due to maintaining the Tesla head unit ? Ex: lossless not at 24/96 or other ?
Speakers that have frequency cuts done actively by an audio processor (DSP) should not use physical crossovers, correct? In other words, in these cases I “never” use physical crossovers, correct?
@@AlpineTV I was wondering this too. I have a M3 Highland LR and am keen to purchase the Professional system and self install. I'll watch this space :)
but with the bigger woofer. how much detail is lost in the bass. teslas have very tight and punchy bass. how much of that do you lose. is it even an improvement after all of that?
@@AlpineTV I got to hear it. Really un impressed tbh. For those wondering, I’d stick with what the Bang&Olufsen engineers put in the car. The apline system sounds weak and sloppy with a big woofer that has no detail and ferrite magnets. Stock used more powerful magnets with more detail
@@Skeppyberryinteresting take Ive actually been very impressed with the tight and responsive bass curve I’m getting from the sub. Is the DSP able to be fully user tuned manually, if so is it a PEQ or GEQ with time alignment like the PXA-800 etc? Not a lot of tech info on the amp/DSP.
Here in Australia, Alpine have two kits the Pro and the Ultimate the difference is the Ultimate has 2 amps , do you how much of a difference the 2 amps make ?
So will this work on the 24 Model Y RWD with the downgraded 7 speakers? This is honestly the most valid option for that model, for the LR and P this seems honestly useless
3000$ is a scam. Nevertheless I did get an alpine 12” sub in my base model 3 it sounds FANTASTIC!!! With a diamond amp it is exactly what this car was missing
The highland Model 3’s will also need a different subwoofer enclosure. The whole kit will actually be very different for the 2024+ highland Model 3 in comparison to a 2023 Model 3
My question is “Why?” If Tesla is known for making such an incredible sound system, why pay $3k for something most people couldn’t hear any difference. This is not a good business model. If this system can be used in other cars, then yes you may have something to work with.
@@ProLumba I don't think it's that bad for all custom gear already pre created so no building or cutting needed. The amp is really good. Is there a second dummy mono amp that looks the same and has the same power and sound that you can get to run a second subwoofer?
Lmao, i love people who know absolutely nothing about audio. Go ahead and price out a similar system: amp, dsp, cables, speakers. It’ll run you $4000-$6000 easily. Idiot…😂

Should offer the Sub / Amp separately
