i agree with the other guy. my chem teacher likes him and also blows stuff up (pretty normal tbf), encourages us to be creative when we cuss, tells us military horror stories, and accidentally got us flashed TWICE while watching oppenheimer. genuinely an amazing teacher we all love him. the other chem teacher has also scrolled through images of toes projected on the whiteboard but i think thats more of a problem pertaining to him
my chem teacher was retiring the same year I had him. He was moving down to cali since his Husband apparently made a decent amount of money and towards the end of the year one class he just took us on a virtual tour of his new house lmao

It's kinda like electroboom. You're crazy enough to dumb shit, but smart enough to make sure you don't die doing it. Nerds have to produce adrenaline somehow, that's how you prevent the mad scientists from being created.

Those folding tables. You look at the specs and it says "supports 300 pounds", but if you set a PC or even an LCD monitor on them they will start to sag immediately. You REALLY have to spread the weight around for them to support anything like that.

I feel you. Studying for a new job now. I graduated with an engineering degree from a top in the country school 8 years ago and now I am just trying to make enough to cover rent and medical expenses with a job completely unrelated to my career to date because my degree amounted to nothing when any business degree put you immediately above all engineers and technicians in any company. I have a pad of sticky notes that are probably just going to slowly fill with curses as I fight through this online course. Funny enough I did get to finally work with Nile Red last year (the dye) and had to try to not chuckle thinking about mad lad with too many fun chemicals while I was in a professional lab space.
