Nicole losing her quarter in the absurdly shaggy carpet is one of the funniest unscripted things that could have happened in this video

@@katac7286 if anything, Josh was over confident in Zach's abilities at the start 😃
DEAL
As a Asian inspired chef I felt him to my core andnim a lady but I'd let him kick me in the balls too 😂
I've finally pinned down what Ned's irritating energy is in cooking videos. He's like a smug, 10 year old child who cooked one thing with the support of a parent once, was gushed over by family and now tells all of his friends what an amazing chef he is. A judge? The best cook of the try guys? Let's be real, I've seen him make some truly astounding mistakes in cooking challenges on the channel - not just baffling from an experienced cook's perspective, but from a common sense, 'don't you know how the world works around you' perspective.
Also, God bless Zack, he's doing his best
Yeah I can see where you're coming from, honestly for me there's just something way deeper about him that kinda unsettles me, not to be overdramatic, I only notice it within videos made in like the last year but, idk, dude gives me really weird vibes, something just feels off with him, I'm not gonna use any terms he just seems to get legitimately angry and take things way too seriously in a weird way, you notice it a lot in the without a recipe videos when he'll get extremely upset when something happens, and then seem like...idk, really quite and cold and angry at negative reviews in a way that seems like it isn't a joke, he looks like he's taking it all way too seriously.
I can't give a better explanation but I genuinely find it hard to watch parts of videos with him in them from the past year now, once you see it you can't unsee it and it just makes me feel really uneasy
Well the higher they are the harder they fall...he'll probably never have anything to boast about in his life agaib
Exactly. This man did not deserve a cookbook
Agree ! I took a break from watching them for awhile and eventually got back into it a year or 2 later on so rewatched shows and I was like man why’d I ever stop?! Then I got to episodes where it was chaotic but still fun but then someone was overly trying to be funny chaotic wnd it’s was ned 😣🤣🤣 then I realized the only times he was funny is when he wasn’t trying ! Like his background comments like “zendaya? From thr big foot movie ?” 😂 like such a dad thing ! But yeah he got annoying but I missed the guys and catch up with the other videos sadly then the news broke of ned this year and I’m just so glad now he’s gone 😂
I have ALWAYS felt similarly about Ned. But it's not just with cooking. It was his entire person. He's smug about everything, has always had this undertone of conceit. His cooking, his mediocre ass, his glorious family that he willingly fucked over, his career that he pissed on... such a prancy priss.
Nicole was ROBBED. That cheese burger Wellington turned out great. And all the judges said it was not bad and edible enough, they all ate quite a lot. They could barely eat Zachary with all the raw ginger, and odd ratio of flavours 💀
“It takes a very advanced skill to mess up these ingredients” has the same vibe as “you should find other means of honoring your father”
Shoot, its been a year everyone. Thanks for this.
LOL !!!!

Where is that from? Google is being rather tight-lipped.
Seeing Roy eat something that Josh didn’t get to actually make but had to put his name on and present as his own was the best part of this. Poor Josh. 🤣😂
You can tell it's killing him inside, I love it. 😂😂😂
I wanted to crawl into a hole and die FOR him. I’m not even a good [former] chef, but the idea of wanting to honor a heroes food and letting someone else execute it blind… I’d rather lose a body part. Not like a pinky toe like a foot.
@@zerocraic3966 Not only that, but finding out half way through that the person who inspired the dish will be judging it is just the best coincidence ever!
@@TheRaptorJezuz how could I leave that out! I was so busy debating what size body part I’d amputate in exchange for never having to experience this personally 🤣

Nicole was SUCH a delight in this episode. By the time she tried the dish, she was so resigned to whatever that she had, that she loved it. I'm happy for her and Keith's weird giant beefy pancake thing.

I demand a rematch, Keith and Nicole should have won. They actually ate it and clearly liked it more???? this gotta be rigged
I wouldn’t say they “liked” it 😂
Yeah! The judges didn't spit any of it out, for one
Gotta side with Keith on the whole "You based the winner on a hypothetical?" comment. Should've been more based on the final product and from the sounds of it they had waayyyy more issues consuming Zach's than they did with Keith's.
yo fr, i'd rather sit confused eating subpar cheeseburger wellington than struggle eating almost sundubu jjigae with RAW ginger chunks every few bites. at least the wellington was a fully realized dish, zach just literally butchered (albeit very entertainingly) josh's recipe 😭
Agreed
I thought keith had it in the bag (although really poorly, but still!)
Exactly. Wasn't the whole point figuring out who was better at communication and execution of the instructions??? This was the most unfair judged try guys video ever and I'm bummed
Maybe Keith’s on to something when he said Roy Choi doesn’t like him lol
When Nicole said "you're ugly" to josh to finish her argument, I LOST it. Such schoolyard energy a I love it

The whole argument 8:22
Just the specific part 8:37
"Zach seems like he absorbs knowledge really well"
**Camera cuts to Zach looking at a spoon** 😂😂😂
😅
as a vegetarian i would’ve chosen keith’s dish over zachs so very easily. it looked edible. it was actually following instructions to the best of the ability, and keith tried with the plating. and none of the judges said “it doesn’t smell right” or “my last try guys ever” to the dish. i don’t know where the ganged up hate came in for keith, but he truly was robbed of that win. that being said i do love zach but it was so unfair.
Keith and Nicole got robbed! Theirs was perfectly edible, and the other couldn't even be swallowed without picking out chunks of ginger!
How do u know u werent there to try it lmao
@@prettyfemme you can literallly tell keith and nicole the judges were saying is not bad and such and for zach and josh they literally struggled and roasted the crap of it
@@knightbot23 Exactly! And they ate a lot of it! So it can't be that bad! And it looked good 😄
I guess the only thing I could think is, that while Nicole's dish was "cheeseburger inspired" none of them got that feel from it, despite it being actually good to eat. And Josh's, while it didn't taste good, it was clearly following a specific Asian dish and it executed on that more. But I think taste still has to be a major factor in deciding who wins things like this
Also the fact that Roy couldn't even really bring himself to eat Josh/Zach's dish.......like......yeah
And finally Ned said that's "good" if you don't eat all of the ingredients, meaning the whole dish cannot be enjoyed, only the broth basically, which of course tastes good and flavorful because they put a lot of spices in it
And yet they kept eating it despite the chunks of ginger
Keith and Nicole got robbedd. They communicated quite well compared to Josh and Zach and based off the final products Keith's dish looked pretty good and edible
Yes! I agree (not that i'm not happy for Josh and Zach)
The judge would eat Zach's food again as a dip, but not Keith's food. If there was a chip, they would eat Zach's food. But they wouldn't go back to Keith's food no matter what.
At first I was like “Okay idk about Nicole” then I was like “holy mother I love Nicole”
I was like “this guys kinda cool” then I was like “josh has the patience of a saint.”

how did you guys pair the chefs so perfectly i feel like josh gives off zach energy so much and nicole and keith were like two parents whos kids are friends and she was giving him a recipe for a barbecue or something
Exact reason why they are working together.
They are two of the chefs that work for Rhett and Link for Good Mythical Morning! They also have a podcast called "A Hotdog is a Sandwich", and they both have their own spinoff channel from Mythical called Mythical Kitchen if you want to see more content from them!
I can’t believe zach essentially won because he was making an established dish that *could* have been passable in another universe! Nicole was making up a recipe on the fly and it was enjoyable!!! Or at the very least Roy could swallow it lol
Hmmm a white male won over a minority woman. Nooooo!!!!! 😐😐 Stupid
EXACTLY like, what happened between shots to make them choose zach and Josh's???
@@roulettetime9549 I said this above, but I think that Zach and Josh were set up. There is no "not setting this up" reason to have given the box that would make Josh choose to try to coach the one Try Guy whose character can't cook at all (though we've seen Zach the person cook in videos) through making a Korean dish when Roy is a judge.
They judged it based on wether they would eat it again at all, something can be technically fine and something you wouldn't eat again in favor of something else (and tbf, they said they didn't enjoy eating either)
So to be clear, one dish was "extremely easy to make" and was inedible, with chunks of raw ingredients, with a bad presentation, and the other was "not as puffed as I'd like", very difficult to make, well cooked, and beautifully presented. One team was in control and competent. One team was a nightmare. And you gave the win to the inedible food that looked bad and wasn't cooked. Sure sure. Makes total sense. WTF
Literally! All those hypotheticals they put in like wtf the point of it was to be the END result and not some “omg imagine what if could be” actually had me so angry
@@oinkpersonpeeps1692 Right? Everyone is pissed off about this!!
Sounds a lot like the 2016 Presidential election/candidates... we handed our country to inedible, badly presented nightmare fuel for four years because the other option wasn't exactly how we wanted it to be... lolsob... it's gorram allegorical....

@@Ari-ep2ub damn you're right. They would've probably creating a whole new cuisine 😂
What are you talking about? She and Keith were vibing. I loved their dynamic.
ehh. i don’t think eugene matched her “aggressive” personality well. his role is the “dark” one of the group but he’s actually very tame/shy and he doesn’t really have that aggressive edge to him. when you have someone more meek matched with someone more intense aggressive it doesn’t really work, but when it’s two intense people like nicole and keith it’s funny
0:54 "This is my last Try Guys" while the camera focuses on Ned is a bit foreshadowing...
I noticed that as well 😂
WHAT?!!? They liked Zach’s only if Zach didn’t make it, and it was a completely different dish?? They couldn’t even properly eat it. This is the first time this judging decision was pure bullshit
Honestly
It doesn’t make any sense
“If you gave me a chip it’d be good”
If you put the insides of Nicole/Keith’s on a bun ITD PROBABLY BE GOOD
Their only criticism was the ground beef with cheese didn’t taste like a cheeseburger. What?! And the puff pastry didn’t puff. Meanwhile there was raw ginger in every bite and the trash part of scallions.
i'm so sick of keith getting robbed in these cooking challenges. the judges actually ATE his dish and their biggest complaint was that it was too dense to eat more of. roy couldn't even swallow the first bite of zach's
no literally
A billion percent!!
Honestly the chef set Keith up for failure, beef Weldon is one of the hardest dishes to make and you’re not meant to have fully cooked meat inside of it. And she hasn’t even made it herself and expected Keith to do it successfully.

This literally HURT watching Roy Choi just destroy Josh. I hope Josh gets a chance to cook for Roy on his own.
Nicole embodying keiths energy when yelling is fantastic. I love her and her big sister energy so much.
Sorry but Keith & Nicole should have won, it should be based on the dish at hand, not what you imagine it could have been. In the same vein you could be like, “If we had some burger buns this would have been a really unique burger!” The video was entertaining but the judgement was pretty unfair.
Agreed, the judging was bs!!!
Keith was robbed! Zach winning by 5 different hypotheticals basically should have been a clue that the dish was horrible. "If your dish was done like A-Z then it would be good" doesn't scream winning dish to me
Okay but Nicole channeling Keith's energy with him as her hypeman was pretty worth it
Y’all should reverse it!
The try guys taste a dish where they have no idea what it is. The chefs are listening to the try guys describe what they’re eating and try to recreate it.

This sounds so fun! I can already imagine Zac trying to describe how a dish tastes 😂

I love this idea, they could do it with Nonnas as well. Grandparents measure with their heart when cooking.
I was REALLY hoping Nicole and Josh would get the chance to redeem themselves and cook a separate dish to serve the judges afterwards as like a "here's what we're both capable of ACTUALLY" to both the judges and viewers (who are new to nicole and josh) because these two are both VERY talented and accomplished chefs.

The judge would eat Zach's food again as a dip, but not Keith's food. If there was a chip, they would eat Zach's food. But they wouldn't go back to Keith's food no matter what.
Because his first bite had expectations. Every bite after that was absent of those expectations, and he could taste it for what it was. Not that difficult to comprehend. I've had the same experience with what I thought was a mini berry smoothie (it turned out to be a beetroot health shot...)
Man I am pissed about Ketih's dish being shit on but ho boy I absolutely LOVED Nicole being in this. She's hilarious and charismatic. Her bickering with Josh was so fucking funny that made my day.
Zach acts chaotic on purpose. He literally try’s to do a bad job on purpose. Ned was eating the burger Wellington as if he had never seen food before in his life yet still trash talked it the whole time. I’m confused.
Josh: Are your cooking muscles warmed up?
Zach: If this requires muscles, we are in serious trouble
Meanwhile the previous video was Zach gaining like 20lbs of muscle
I’m glad Keith got partnered with someone who could rage for him in the most enjoyable way possible
The cheeseburger wellington looked so good I'm mad Nicole didn't win. A bowl of spicy ketchup chili won instead.

@@martian8979 No, lol. I just don't get why Zach couldn't run to the sink to quickly wash off, or maybe just grab a towel to hold the pot?? There could've been so many solutions here. 🤦♀️😆
I feel so bad for Josh having to present that dish to someone he truly respects in his field.
I laughed but God did I feel bad about it
😅
I'm so confused?? Keiths looked so great, while what Zach made they barely swallowed and had chunks of ginger??
the fact that the chefs are actually friends and could have that bit of rivalry with this dynamic is great content
They do certainly have sibling rivalry vibe
The Cheeseburger Wellington looks and sounds amazing, especially given the inherent problems caused by the disconnect between brain and hands.
Zach and Josh's sundubu, on the other hand, actually had the judges pulling faces of disgust.
Literally the only reason they won was because the judges were like "Well, I would eat it if someone who knows what they're doing had made it."
I respect Josh, I like his recipes, and I would respect the decision had he himself prepared it, but Zach's execution just didn't warrant a win.
Keith and Nicole were _robbed_ .
Not if "someone else made it", but if there were chips they would still eat again. While they wouldn't go back to eat Keith's food again no matter what.
I can’t believe they based the decision off of a hypothetical. I think Keith and Nicole did so much better communicating and the end product was actually what they had tried to make.
Yeah, I feel like Keith and Nicole should have won, so true.
I agree 100%. Was actually going to make the same comment before I saw yours.
I dunno. Beef wellington really doesn't look like that xD
I totally agree 💯 percent!!!!!
@@na3rial But it was "Hamburger" Wellington.
Keith: “Whatever Zach’s about to do is NOT right.”
Lmao this whole episode is so good. Thank you for helping to lift my spirits during a really tough time in my life.
more phoning it in please! I enjoy this concept equally or maybe even more than WAR 🤫 the chaos is just guaranteed and so far EVERY SINGLE TIME the chefs get to see what they've created the reactions are just 👨🍳😘👌

This is a GENIUS format. Not to mention, the best crossover on the internet
Should tell that to @sorted food then....
@@snigdhabharadwaj3591 omg can we get sorted, mythical and try guys together?! That would be the ultimate combo!
Haven't enjoyed a Try Guys video so much in a while.
Love how Zach is a dumpster fire in cooking even with an chef as his guide while Keith is thriving and yet still cant win.
I’d like to think they just called Rhett and Link up and asked to borrow their top chefs for the day😂
I forgot how annoying Ned's voice was lol
The fact that Josh and Nicole are the “celebrity chefs” is great
I haven't even watched this video, but I am already loving it. Some of my favorite creators collabing is always a good time.
I feel like the chefs should make their dish the way they intended after and then have the judges try them to compare!
I was left wanting something like that too! Especially after they tried out the soup
I was thinking the same thing!
I was thinking the same thing
Nicole is literally the female version of Keith, I LOVE her
I'm not sure if it's purposeful or not, but Zach doesn't need to be completely awful at cooking for this format to be entertaining. In fact, especially in this case, watching his portions was extremely unenjoyable. Nicole and Keith made a reasonable outcome given the circumstances, and it was still quite entertaining.
I think it would be much better for this format if you also allow the chefs to make the dishes themselves. That way you can see what the dish is supposed to look like vs what the Try Guys created, and the judges can taste that as well. However, I don't think they should be allowed to judge based on what the dish was supposed to be. Only on what the guys created.
THIS i 100% believe zach knows his way around the kitchen ( at least a little bit) , the facade that he was putting up this video was so off to me.
@@ughsam_ I get the feeling from other videos that he can follow a recipe really effectively, but asking him to freestyle white rice with no guidelines is maybe realistically not gonna work out. I've screwed up rice on the stovetop plenty of times and I'm a decent cook!
Zach does not cook. He says it all the time. Doing these videos in batches once every 6 months or so isn't going to suddenly teach him proper cooking skills considering he messes up fairly often. I have no idea why people assume these guys should be masters at this after like 20 episodes and 4 years. Not to mention in this you have a voice in your ear telling you what to do, but they can't see what you are doing. So your focus will be split, if you start making any mistakes it can snowball easily as the chef tries to course correct and you can panic. I'm tired of people acting like the Try Guys should be able to act completely perfectly and rationally under pressure.
@@DemonLordSparda I disagree, depends on the cooking but he should have some basics now. He should know how to cook an egg, or make rice, something simple at this point.
Also if you cook something similar even if it’s only once a month you get better at it over time.
@@haileyparsons3844 Zach doesn't cook for himself. He has tons of dietary restrictions. Also these shows are not filmed consistantly, nor are they about cooking properly. They are about making things without a recipe and not knowing what your end goal is.
I said “OH NO” out loud when Josh got Zach and I think that was the right response
I esp. love that Zach clearly said he hates being told what to do and doesn't listen or follow directions. It was doomed from the start. I am so ps'd he even won, lol
As soon as I knew Zach had to make rice, I thought it was all over for them xd
I haven’t started watching the video yet, but I saw your comment and liked it because I know enough to agree.
hahaha so let me get this straight.
Josh won because if they changed the recipe, took out the stuff that didn't work, got a the smallest amount on a chip (and pray there wasn't any ginger in it) it's edible
But Nicole lost because it was weird that it was inspired by a cheeseburger and didn't taste like a cheeseburger?
rigged
ikr, I agree !!!!!!
well SOMEBODY is salty about something they had no stake in...
@@aff77141 shut up alf
Yes!!! I was fuming. They were literally offended by Josh's but Nicole still lost? Made no sense.
Honestly! They literally said it was good when they had it with lettuce, it’s dumb
I really want to see Josh just actually teaching Zach how to cook.
This is absolutely wrong!! How could Keith and Nichole not win?! Everything was better than Zach's dish. If someone else made a cheeseburger beef Wellington they would have really enjoyed it, and they are more of Keith's dish than Zach's.
I really hope this becomes a series, especially with Mythical kitchen! Competitive try guys and competitive chefs? Yes please, I need more of that!
"Today we will be judging on *presentation, taste and execution* "
Presentation: Keith clearly did a better presentation even if he didn't cut it up (even included lettuce and tomatoes like a real cheeseburger!). Every bowl that Zach prepared was sloppy and messy
Taste: C'mon now, Chef Roy could barely swallow the first bite for the sundubu
Execution: LITERALLY HAD CHUNKS OF GINGER. Zach almost contaminated the whole kitchen with raw pork and could barely keep up with Josh's instructions. Keith did everything accordingly and cooperated well with Nicole
Tldr: Keith and Nicole were R O B B E D
For real! I’m annoyed about this BS decision.
Agreed
💯, this judging was bs
genuinely dont get how zach won. loved the video but the result was bull
Completely agree
Nicole mouthing off at Ned during the judging is just 🤌👏🤣
Roy Choi rlly said “respectfully wtf” to Zach’s dish 💀
I was hoping this was meant literally. 😭
Not gonna lie, I’d love to see Gordon Ramsey lose his mind trying to do this with the try guys 😂
He would explode 😭😭🤣🤣 or treat them the way he does the kid chefs from his shows. Lmfao
He would obliterate them LMAO
Gordon would literally scream at half the guys like it's HK and comfort the other half like it's Masterchef Kids. All while cry laughing into his hands that they're all walnuts everytime he got off the phone.
Unless it was for charity, he would never lol
YES
Zach in a kitchen is painful. I love him, but how has he not picked up a single cooking skill by now.... Well... I guess nothing exploded so..
Can't wait for more of this!
I was thinking the same thing
I'm starting to get the vibe that it's an act. Ned literally has a cookbook out and when he's participating he's just as "bad" as everyone else. He makes noob mistake after noob mistake.
@@kaldo8907 yup been thinking the same. Love Zach but get actually frustrated with him in the kitchen sometime. Like, his "character" is to be bad and throw out all the rules even though he definitely knows some now.
@@musical_kait it was actually so bothersome this episode :(
@@carmiebbt I felt so bad for Josh 😭
Keith backing up Nicole and hyping her up was great😂
Keith: it’s like a Yule log
Nicole: Yes, exactly we love Yule logs….what’s a Yule log??? 😂😂
Yeah at first I was a little shocked that she didn't know what it was, but she seems to work with more savory stuff than being a baker
