Omg we've passed the point of no return, I'm only 24 and I have memories of twirling the house phone's cord in the early 2000s 😂 am I too old to be watching the try guys? 😢
Jennifer telling Keith to carve a stick of butter while the cake is in the oven has the energy of a parent giving their child an irrelevant task so they can't mess anything up.
I love that Johnny has become, like, their go-to chef/baker guy. He has the perfect energy and is clearly having a blast, even though every time an expert chef judge lists their credentials you can see him die a little inside
Jonny is my favorite part. I love that he's been in all the episodes. Jimmy and Jonny still make me laugh on a grim day so this episode was amazing bc those two plus Kwesi?! Plus the two ladies? OMG. Fantastic.
Poor Johnny. He always seems to get the judge that is an expert at what he had them make. I could just see it in his eyes when Stephanie said who she was

I honestly think once the audience buys into it it will do just as well if not better. Without a recipe has been around a lot longer and has the advantage that way.
I don't like without a recipe. I have maybe watched one episode. It was super obnoxious. This is so much fun. Part of the fun of the Try Guys is watching them fail hilariously, and this absolutely leans into that
adding jonny to the try family is honestly one of the best decisions this company has EVER made 😅 he is such a natural performer and comedian and fits in so well in the narrative of the try guys
I'm enjoying that they are rotating their friends and other media personalities into the try guy univserse - it must also give the guys more flexibility to do their independent projects while still maintaining and growing the company. It's becoming and ensemble cast with still our clear main 3 characters, and I'm here for it. Would still like to see all 3 be in an episode/video together but doing it this way makes Ned's absence less jarringly apparent.
I really love the difference of energy between Johnny and Jennifer during their presentations. While Jennifer is just really dying on the inside, Johnny's mood was like "First time? This is quite good!"

I like how Jennifer kept hanging up on Keith...not sure she understood her assignment that well, but given their limited time it certainly made it hilarious she almost couldn't stand to be on call with Keith😂 the chefs & judges are great at comedy
To be fair, the things Keith was saying were kind of outrageous, not problematic per se, but statements that would make a professional smack their forehead in exasperation. I was right there with her: “really? You believe THAT stereotype/misconception?” Walking away was an understandable response, though not ideal given the circumstances.
I love how Jennifer went with the French bit during judging and how she had confidence in Keith to make a complicated recipe. I think this episode for phoning it in has been the best so far
Jennifer was REALLY trying to save that French gloop cake with her pitch. She was fighting for her life out there and it would've worked if the cake didn't turn to soup. Love it 😂😂

Jennifer’s blank stare as the cake came out of the pan while saying “I love that” was comedy GOLD
You can clock the exact moment her soul leaves her body and it's INCREDIBLE.

i keep coming back to this video specifically for that moment
Jennifer's killer comedic timing absolutely clashing with Keith's comedic timing made this episode impossibly insane. I love it
