Should probably fix the oil leak before you worry about a lift kit, big tires and a paint job.

It could be oil spilled from working on the car and not cleaned off afterwards. Best to clean off the congealed oil and monitor it in the coming days for a seal leak
Ignorant comment you can neglect an oil leak and still be running and looking how you like it I leaked from every spot and did all of those things before I fixed the leaks
All depends on how you value the leaks and the looks one comes before the other

Should not put cold water on hot engine. This could cause the engine to crack. Should always let engine cool down remove battery cover all electronics. Use a steam cleaner or a wire brush and use minimal amounts of water to prevent rust and damage
I drive a super duty and spray the living shit out of it's engine with water. I've never covered a single thing in the engine bay and its always just fine - Have you ever seen it rain? Your engine bay gets wet as does the underside of your vehicle lol
Water isnt going to hurt an engine unless you're just flat out dumb and spray directly into your intake

how is that a "noob mistake"? Sometimes the hose just lands on the nozzle handle and sprays ya for a sec or two. 50+ years of using a hose and still get sprayed a couple times a year. no biggie. Or are you suggesting to oh so carefully place the hose on the driveway/grass/barn floor/etc instead of tossing it to the side? Please.

Not the safest way to clean. Oven cleaner may cut grease well but it dangerous to work with under a car. Plus if it has a lemon scent to it some dog will drink it from any puddle.
+ Oven cleaner dissolves aluminum, and should not be used on aluminum except in very special cases.

or ???? simply use your pressure washer to remove all the crud and then use the siphon set up on your pressure washer and the proper tip (the largest one) to spray diluted degreaser ..why ? the degreaser isnt to clean anything as the pressure washer removes everything with exception of an light oily residue which is what depreaser in diluted state 1 part to 50 is for ...then rinse clean

take half bottle petrole,mix it with detergent also mix half cup soda and mix it quickly,pour that mixture on engine and leave for hour.then rub the engine with brush and finally rinse with water.you will get quick cleaning result
