Well done catching the Barra.. we got back today from 3 days chasing the barra at Mondy.. No luck at all but was a great three days on the water. We're heading back in October to try again
Im local to around monduran. I've fish there for 4 days and caught no barra but got 3 bass between 48 and 51cm. It's a hard dam to fish. Last time I went a few weeks ago

Hey mate, it was a z man plastic on 20lb braid. Will have to try remember which rod and reel I was using, can't remember at the moment.
