i agree with robs verse being underwhelming but the backup vocals on the last chorus there are all him and its probably the coolest part of the song so with that in mind the feature works well for me
Hope you're feeling better Birb. Also DGD never misses and this song has been on repeat for me because of how catchy the hooks and riffs are. I can't wait for their next single whenever they decide to release it and hopefully we can also hear Andrew's vocals on some of the newer stuff too like in Evaporate and Nothing Shameful
Yeah I agree it is pretty much just another DGD song but I think it is really well done and one of their most catchiest songs to date. Robs feature couldve definitely been longer but he does join in for the 2nd refrain with both Jon and TIlians part and it sounds really good. I think this album is supposed to be pretty long so Im hoping we will get plenty of songs with a lot of experimentation like Parallels, Say Hi, Shark Dad, Eagle vs Crows, etc.
Really love that you can hear Andrew's songwriting a bit more on this song compared to the other songs he's helped write. He deserves the official member status and I'm hoping the album has both Will and Andrew influences.
If you think about Rob's part like it's a commercial, then the fact that it's short makes it fit a little better, but musically I definitely wanted more in his feature.
Get well soon my man! Covid can be a bitch. Had it back and December and I’m still feeling it quite a bit almost 4 months later. Wishing you all the best!
Their style is very unique to them and no other band can pull off what they do, so I'm ok with this being just more DGD. Sometimes the same is the best option.
I haven't checked out much of the band so this one actually brought me in, I'm going to check more Tillian Era albums! Love the track, so upbeat and hooky with techy aspects.
I think it’s fun to listen to and if it comes up in a DGD mix playlist it’ll be awesome to hear but I agree it also falls a bit short as being a super impactful song compared to some things from mothership and even artificial selection that had like 8 certified bangers that were 100% unique and distinguished songs on each album
@Matthew Gammon I think the story is the name was originally Don Loco but one of the members broke their wrist so they changed it to Don Broco as a joke
First of all, get well soon my dude! Second, I just love DGD at their current state man. They can do no wrong to my ears. Also, check out the new MALEVOLENCE song, please!
To any one upset that Rob didn't have a "Bigger part" in the song go look up "Don Broco - Action". They feature Feat. Taka Moriuchi, Tyler Carter, Caleb Shomo, Tilian Pearson. All of them had about 30 words in the song. Slightly less than what Rob had in this song. Maybe, just maybe when you're a feature in these bands, you don't really need to sing a whole bunch of lyrics to have an impact. Just saying.
i just feel like ive heard this same song from them a million times at this point. it was okay, but last time i listened to it i forgot everything about it
I feel like this is just because they have a unique sound and they like the music they make. Their genre is going to sound very similar because it’s in the same genre. They like to keep their sound the same. But I feel like you can’t win. You change the sound, people don’t like it, don’t change, people don’t like it
@@HeyWarr ya thats a great point. theyre og and unique..no one else sounds like them..so they sounded similar to...themselves??..YAP..which ain't a bad thing. but ya I can hear they're wasnt too many exciting parts
First listen I didn’t like it that much, by now I love it, everyone is at the top of their game, for me just this song is better than any in the last album
Prob my least fav dgd song in awhile. DGD rarely utilize guest vocalists and in the past when they did the guest played a significant role in the track. They barely utilized Rob at all which was disappointing. The actual song itself sounded like it couldve been straight off afterburner, this was the longest wait fans have had for a DGD track in awhile too, so to me that adds to it being overall disappointing.
Your tripping bro. This song had three vocals all blended perfect. I mean, if you want more Rob just listen to Don Broco lol. Longest wait? Who's waiting? "I'm still literally blasting Mothership and afterburner. You remind me of rap fans. If the song is two weeks old they refuse to bump it anymore. I still listen to Downtown Battle Mountain. Chill out with wanting a band to constant push out music. THat's when they go to crap.
I think the beginning is good as always but the song really shines after and in Rob's feature. His singing adds a lot and followed up by Jon's badass screams, especially the fast ones (but Jon is my favourite part of any DGD song). Also the melodies in the end are great with Rob mixed in. I think tilian doesn't shine as much here but I don't really care about that

I think if he'd shown up in the video during all of his parts then it would've seemed like there was more of him in it

He is a official member

I don't remember Jon so fast on any scream before like at 1:55 in the actual song.
I think he did some in secrets
my favorite part of the song haha. he probably has in secret band but i dont remember
The last thing I want is for DGD to change
Felt the same way about Rob’s feature but his background Melodie’s added a lot

DGD has refined their formula and with this formula they can make so much music. Can't get enough of it 😎
Rob was the one doing the harmonies with Jon and Tilian
Love this song, can't get enough of it
Hope you get better soon man
I believe it’s pronounced Don “Broke-O” instead of Brocko. I made the same mistake at first until I saw them live

Remind me to never check in a hotel run by Tillian
Get well soon. I caught covid after seeing Wage War and Falling in Reverse a couple months ago. Really sucks to say the least man.

R.I.P. Tim, just saw them at Swanfest
Did you hear Jon's rap screaming?
Get well soon, man!
Hope you get better soon man, The Oklahoma Kid just dropped a new song!

Whatcha been playing video game wise?
I just beat A Plague Tale: Innocence. Highly recommend if you’re into story driven games!
@@METALBIRB I’ve heard good things about it so I’ll definitely have to check it out!
Hope you feel better soon man!
So much Music lol. Dayseeker just dropped another

I'm pretty sure Rob is also doing the harmonies, not jon
Jooo, there is a new dope Nothing More Song. Check it out please
damn sorry the rona got u bad.. but I bet that show was awesome and totally worth it.. yeah riff city non stop..
this single was underwhelming to me. pretty forgettable. your basic version of dgd. it’s no head hunter, but it ain’t bad
