have you upgraded your fuel pump?
Stock 1LE’s already come with the low side fuel pump out of the zl1. I think stock we are good to about 650whp or so on stock fuel system.
@@Saldalaperformance is it the same on a lt1? i don’t think it has the same as the 1le
@@alejandromunguia273 only the 1le or the zl1 have that pump. The lt1 shares the same as the SS.
@@Saldalaperformance ahh okay does that handle about the same amount wheel as the zl1 and 1le?
Cam Next?
Nitrous next. Car is quick. Stock 1LE fuel system will allow me to run a 150-200 shot on e85 without upgrading. I’ve always liked the idea of power on demand.
@@Saldalaperformance you daily it?
No, I have a 2015 Ram sport as my daily. This is just the weekend warrior.
@@Saldalaperformance sounds like a corvette owner? Why you don’t wanna put a lot of miles on the build?
I’ve put about 6k mikes on the current setup. But I work construction. Doesn’t make sense for me to daily it.
Estimated hp increase?
90-100whp
Really good but what would it be without Ethanol?
70ish whp gain.
What’s the whp you’re making now?
No dyno yet. That video is coming soon. I’m looking to probably be between 480-500whp on E85.
So you running 9’s in the 1/4?
No. Never tried the quarter mile yet but I’m sure its high 10s low 11s.
Does it drone?
It’s not bad. At highway cruising you don’t have drone.
What’re you making wheel HP?
480-500. Need to dyno the car still but that’s the estimate.
@@Saldalaperformance I made 496 wheel with headers,LT2, xpipe, and K&N drop in filter. Went to lashway tuning. I was gonna go to calvo but didnt work out with my schedule. Absolute factory freak
Solid. We should run it one day for a comparison
@@Saldalaperformance Should be close, I wanna go on E and get a roto fab soon hopefully
What's the final HP ?
No dyno yet. Estimating 480-500whp
Nice set up but why does people always say FBO without a cam ???
Texas racing
FBO IS
HEADS
CAM
INTAKE
INTAKE MANIFOLD
FULL exhaust
A cam and or heads isn’t a “bolt on” part. That’s an internal component. You would refer to a car with a cam or heads as a “cam car” or a “heads/cam” or even in some cases “h/c” in some videos, which stands for heads cam.
Full bolt on usually refers to intake, throttle body, manifolds, exhaust. In my case I also have a fuel mod and a tune.
@@Saldalaperformance it’s debatable 😴😴i been through this a million times its just where your from nice set up bro !!
full bolt on's is parts that just bolt up not having to tear into the block
@@bradgreen9225 it’s debatable bro 😂😂
@THE BLACK AMERICAN tell that to all the imports FBO is a term we all use for simple bolts ons nothing inside the motor
Wait til you drop a cam and do heads.
Nitrous first
Forged wheels. Get those next. And watch howbthe car responds.
Aren’t the stock ones forged?
I could definitely benefit from a lighter 305 square setup.
@@Saldalaperformance unsure about the Camaro. But my Stingray did not come with forged wheels. 19/20 in. 29 lbs each up front. 33 lbs each in the back. My new wheels are 20 lbs up front and 21 lbs in the back. Lauches are quicker. Corners are much more grippy.
Yeah the wheel setup is definitely heavy but they look really nice. Not sure what I’ll do in the future but I think one rear wheel and tire combo is roughly 55lbs. I could be wrong tho.
@@Saldalaperformance right on. Those wheels you have look really nice on that car.
If it’s stick shift yes worth it, if it’s automatic no point when the car is basically driving itself and let’s be honest boring lol
I hear you and I feel the exact same way.
To me a manual will always be a real drivers car but the autos make dreams a reality for some who don’t have the physical ability to drive a manual.
Everyone is different, some people like automatic cars especially that A10 on those Camaro are awesome. For a daily driver in a city auto is a must. Stick is cool but if you daily you will soon not enjoy your drives.
@@josels1292 sorry I get you but automatic just isn’t for me, to me it’s boring and not very unique I mean my niece can drive automatic, stick shift at least not everyone knows how to drive and that’s a big plus in my book.
@@josels1292 especially let’s say when someone is trying to steal my car it’s an 80% chance they not even gonna know what to do 😅 they just gona look dumb the whole time trying to even turn it on hahah
Not everyone wants a manual and this is coming from someone that knows how to drive both
Almost* fbo
It is full bolt on.
There is nothing more you can do that is “bolt on”. Everything else is either internals, or forced induction.
Bolt on some forged wheels. You'll drop more than 10lbs of rotating mass of unsprung weight at each wheel. All aspects of sporty driving will improve. Pricey but it will set your car apart from the others, especially at the track.
I have a question and would love anybody to input a answer. I found a 2016 2ss for 28k. It has 1 7/8 headers, ported manifold and it’s on e85 making 500rwhp BUT it has 92k miles. Is that a dealbreaker for y’all or would I be ok looking at higher mileage for these cars
92k is high in my opinion for such a new sports car. You need to be more clear about the mods. I made 490whp with all the mods in this video. If you have that amount of power with only headers, ethanol, and a ported intake manifold, that means that was a happy dyno or that tune is way spicier than you want it to be.
