That's why I love the long RUclipsr's videos (Part 1 & 2) that covers the obsession Nicki had with Lil Kim. Very detailed...pictures say 1,000 words. The comment section showed that some of Nicki's fans were finally seeing just how much Nicki copied to the point they recognized it was scary and creepy. From the fashion, picture poses, and lyrics. I mean she was even trying to pose with a kangaroo like Kim did. It made some of the Barbs admit Lil' Kim was the original rapper Barbie who Nicki modeled her entire career from.

KIM is just amazing and horribly disrespected and not given her proper credits .... so thank you for this! I remember seeing all these looks for the first time when originally worn and many still give goosebumps..She really was ahead of her time considering many of the looks remain current and fresh looking. But the best thing about KIM is she is a beast in the studio and actually has given us timeless hits as well as looks. She will forever be respected on both levels. None of the current female rappers can deny taking a page from the Lil' Kim playbook and that's just facts .So thanks again for such a wonderfully put together retrospective on this awesome human.
