I hit "Don't remind me again" when I saw this message. At home I have Ubuntu, Mac, a Windows 10 laptop and Windows 7 on several of my laptops and my desktop. Seven is my all time favorite. I have the appropriate anti-virus and ransomware programs. W10 is too nosy and too touchy in my opinion. I refuse to be bullied and I ignore all the You Tube fearmongers who are screaming for me to abandon W7 NOW! Two of my laptops are incompatible with W10 anyway. When the time comes I will either disconnect those laptops from the internet or install Ubuntu. After I watched your video I appreciated your calm tone and common sense advice. I'm sick of being screamed at, so I subscribed to your channel.

I was using my PC as is but now I cannot connect to the internet. States "windows is unable to connect to wifi". Please help, is this the end or is there something else I can do?
Have 1PC & 2 Laptops with W7. Tried 10 on the PC & 1 Laptop. Right away I didn't like the look & feel even with using Classic Shell and Aero Tweaker. Then I found there were a couple of my old fav games I couldn't play. I restored both back to 7 in just a couple hours. On oldsr machines I used to have, I ran XP beyond it's date and Vista too. I never saw the so called "Problems" with that OS that many complained about. I only went with W7 when I replaced those older machines after many years. I'll stick with 7 until these machines die.
I love Win 10 and will stick with 10 until my machine dies.
Before I watch the video, will I lose any data such as music , photos files etc if I upgrade to 10 or linux?

March 14, 2020, my windows 7 just crapped out. It starts, the mouse moves around and thats it. Cant open a thing. Malwarebytes premium wont work as I thought I could find a bug. The pricks literally turned my malwarebytes off somehow and now it wont turn on. This was my astronomy rig command station and It is literally worthless. Safemode yields nothing. Machine will only turn off manually. I saw 2 other astronomers have the same problem yesterday. Windows is pulling an apple and forcing you to buy a new machine.
@Dusk Reynard Zerda I am able to open things now. If I have more than 2 things running, it locks up. Sadly, it will be retired and I now have the audio issues that come with 10 on my big pc. This all, within a week. Hmm

No, this could simply be a driver issue of something to do with the vender of where you bought the game form like Steam and Blizzard
Windows 7 has Direct x 12, I use windows 8.1 on a daily basis and I have no issue with games and 8.1 does not have dx 12 support, If you want I can send you a link addressing your problem
In case u dont know what DX 12 is it is a new rendering API that was made in 2016 DX 11 was made in 2011 DX 12 is still having alot of bugs and dx11 is still the go two API
Windows 8.1 and 7 will be best more than or 10.

Check the link provided by me for speeding up your laptop. The video really helped me a lot and my laptop is running faster than before and is not freezing. I'm not sure but that video might or might not help you...🙂🙂

W7 works better on my computer than W10, Not going to be bullied into buying another machine. I tried W10 was bloatware, slowed my Dell 7010 down significantly and my machine has a 3.2ghz i7 processor, 32 Ram, a 1 TB HD, the machine equipment is fine, W10 is full of bloatware and spying software from Windows. I got rid of W10 and reinstalled W7. When W7 stops working on the internet completely I am going to Linux Mint. I refuse to be forced to upgrade to an inferior product. I also still have an old Dell with XP and its fine for my needs and still gets online just fine in 2020. No need to upgrade it either. That being said I don't do banking with my XP.
There is still web browsers for xp as well like mypal and new moon so the modern web should continue working for years to come on xp and vista.
@@kevinsahm5577 Thanks I had not heard of either of those browsers for XP. I really don't need to get online that much with XP. I mostly use that computer to watch old TV shows and movies I have downloaded onto its hard drive. That unit sits in the guest bedroom and is used by the kids.
If you think Win 10 is bad, try Win 11.
@@davehenderson3739 No thanks. I have installed linux on an old Dell I was given. I am experimenting with it to see if I can navigate away from XP and W7 in the near future. I think it is going to work for me once I get used to it.

not just the viruses. hackers malware and other nasty buggers can get into older pc with no problem bc windows no longer supports win7 and no more security updates. so your pc is now vulnerable to get infected or Compromised.
@@keithforce1470 i've been using windows 7 for 5 years and not once has a hacker came into my computer. i actually know good antiviruses with firewalls which actually do stuff. windows 7 isn't that unprotected
@@jagjyot4828 you never know. better safe than major sorry. professionals can still get into older windows os without you knowing it. without security updates you still at risk and even you don't go in dangerous websites they can still get in regardless. i can't force you and everyone to upgrade. someday down the line you and others will upgrade. problem is not that many ppl got that kind of money to upgrade which i understand. but yeah win7 is way overdue and there is no more updates and no support so if anything goes wrong. you're on your own ms won't help on win7 users. only the latest OS and up.

I regret it my machine was Originally a windows 7 operating Tower machine. & now that I did upgrade to 10. I really wish I didn't co's windows 10 made the operating systems very sluggish, and a lot of the time unresponsive & bugs & all kinds of unwanted system performance problems, very annoying even the technicians didn't really do much for it either and they're supposed to be technician PC gurus and I went about 8 or 9 times to all different ones and they just tell me buy a brand new pc😔.....

This video inspired me to wipe my laptop and install windows 7 and install windows 8.1 for my custom pc
You should upgrade to Fedora 32 instead.
Not everybody can use Linux, "sudo apt update" is not something I would want to use on a work pc, (FYI I dual boot POP and 8.1)
Personally I think people over 30 hate windows 10. I have had no problems with windows 10 even with my potato pc. Maybe your device sucks??

"Remind me later" and "Don't remind me again" is different. If he press the "Don't remind me again" then Microsoft will never give this message.
If u still want to use windows 7..download a anti virus and a firewall u should be good
yeah but you won't be getting any supports and no security updates to keep system stable. without updates later in the long run win7 pc will start acting up and is vulnerable to malware and viruses. hackers can easily get into older systems stealing ur infos and everything. Be Careful and keep ur very important files safe .

@@connor11ns another scary part is all your logins and passwords saved on your google or firefox acct. pro hackers can get in those too! then you're pretty much screwed because by the time you go to your bank to change acct hackers already got your money. that part is scary that all ur hard earned stuff is gone just like that. keeping your computer up to day play a very important role to prevent your pc from being infected and Compromised. i missed older pc versions but can't stay on there forever. i'll be upgrading to Windows 11 soon. i got enough requirements to run it.

lmfao! just keep your pc healthy since there are no more updates for Win7. and who knows. if your system ends up getting infected hacked and compromised. all of your files gets stolen as well. don't get mad at the world. get mad at urself for not upgrading. don't bother also. my system is updated and enough requirements to install windows 11. way faster more secure and more advance than older out to date PCs. im not rich but least my custom pc is currently updated and i can play latest games on win11.

win7 is better eh? for how long? without security updates and supports your system is vulnerable to viruses malware and more and might not run properly. your antivirus gets expired your pretty much screwed.
