Thank you for this video! I've been poring over BKP options for a while now, and this was really helpful.
Very nice! It would be also helpful in a future video, if possible, to play a small chord progression of 4-5 chords using these pickups one after the other without a backing track to get an even better understanding of the individual differences.

I understand that the Aristide customs are based on the Holydiver bridge and Emerald neck, and I see the relationship, though less clearly than I expected. However, the Silo sounds so close to the customs, with just a tad of extra modernity.

how do you feel about the emerald? I was wanting to get emeralds and put them in an epiphone les paul custom over the probuckers
That’s what I put into my Aristides that I first ordered, it’s midrange heavy (which I really enjoy). Honestly any pickup from them is dope!
@@TheHomeTeamOfficial how’s the low end on the emeralds? they’ll sound slightly different in a les paul than the guitar you’re using here i’m sure but i want some nice chunky palm mutes, without a crazy high output pickup

Is it just me? I can hardly hear any difference between the pickups. Maybe it's more of a 'feel' thing? I love my Juggernaughts though much better than my stock 498 - 490 gibsons
Honestly a lot depends what you’re listening through and everything - I would recommend going to the download link and trying out a few that interest you, or throw the DI’s into a session and put your favorite plug-in over it!
Digital guitar simulation software makes every guitar sound the same. I’ve noticed it after years of playing in my home through an audio interface - every guitar sounded almost the same, but when playing through and all tube Orange plugged straight in is a different story - it revealed the true character of each instrument amd swapping pickups made a difference as well. Another aspect people need to keep in mind that pickups don’t makes as much of a difference as they want to believe - guitar, amp, cabs and the player himself is more important in that regard.
I agree with your comment about the demo, as the differences are not obvious. If you play with either clean or crunch tone, the differences would be more noticeable.

I've tried most aftermarket picks. Despite what these videos do they're all different for sure. These demo videos you just can't tell.

Kudos for making this video. But, with all due respect, there’s WAY too much going on. Between that and the choice of chords being played, it’s next to impossible to gauge the differences between these pickups. Keep it simple, play chords, and let the music breath. Hitting the like button for taking the time to do this, I know first hand how’s much work goes into these videos.

All Bareknuckle pickups sound the same. Especially in a mix. Ive watched countless videos, played through a Bose stereo, TV speakers and my phone… they always sound the same.
Couldn’t tell lol. Your mixer scooped and compressed the piss out of all of them.

They all sound exactly identical to me. I hear no difference whatsoever. It would be interesting to see what happens if you did a comparison with a single pickup used at different string heights and with different volume pot values or electronics configurations.
