Angry taxi driver flashes lights at patient driver

VW Taxi driver waves hands and flashes lights because I was waiting for a safe place to overtake the cyclist. You might think I could have overtook at the junction, but the cyclist didn't indicate left (even though they were in the left lane), so I held back. If I did go at the junction, I would have been too close to the cyclist coming round the corner.
Bonus give way fail at the end...
