Clip 1 (00:00 to 00:40): Changes lanes from a straight ahead lane, with no indicator. Also vehicle with large trailer pushes their way through, again, with no indicator. Clip 2: (00:40 to 01:31): Car cuts up two cyclists to go to the third exit from a left hand lane. Also another car tries to cut across from a straight ahead lane.

Bloody lycra brigade think they own the road.

Yes the driver did indicate late but the cyclist was far enough away to see the indicator was flashing and slow down knowing they are turning. The driver probably did check their mirror but should of done again just before turning. Both to blame on this one.

Good catch - ‘overtaking on zigzags’ - shame about the ‘aiding and abetting’, holding up the queue of traffic to reward the naughty toddler by letting him in after that performance.
He was where he was to avoid stopping on a crossing.

@@xzaz2 The pedestrian light shouldn't be green while the traffic light also is green. That would result in traffic going over the crossing while pedestrians are walking on it. It's a safe assumption to make. I would go further and say that it's not an assumption because it's how crossings work you bloody fool.

Leaving aside who's right and who's wrong here, it should have been obvious to the Mercedes driver that the cyclist had no intention of stopping or even slowing down. By hanging back two seconds to make sure, the Mercedes driver could have made it a non-event and not risked injuring or killing the cyclist. He started turning on the 100% expectation the cyclist was going to stop at the red light. Would he have done the same if it had been a 44 ton lorrry?

At least in the US, many states actually allow stop signs to be treated as yield signs and red lights as stop signs for cyclists. Studies have actually proven that this is safer for cyclists. Many people are unaware of this and is part of the reason why cyclists are hated so much. In either case, clearly this guy ran the light and is in the wrong, which isn't helping the near-universal hatred that everyone has for cyclists.
And that means the cyclist should have yielded to the pedestrians and the car. This study would maybe be accurate if many cyclists did not simplify that rule to "I can pass the red light, so those who have a green light must give way to me"

If basic knowledge of the highway code was required from cyclists in any country, even possibly a licence the number of cyclists would drop by 80%... To operate a 50CC motorbike I need to go through a highway code course, take a test in it, spend atleast 10 hours riding with an instructor behind me, go through an exam on how to operate the thing, then an exam on how to ride and then cyclists in Budapest can just buy a bike for a fraction of the cost of the fucking licence(~120k HUF/300€) and go on without any education.
And cyclists wonder why they get hate on the roads. Heck even the pedestrian saw him jumping the red light as he was crossing.

Biker was a little too close behind and I stopped safely. I probably would have gone through the red light had I carried on at the speed I was going. Anyway... I'm not sure of the exemption rules but what was HE thinking driving on an expired MOT?

I agree, ‘what a bell end’, it looks like the Nissan was already over the giveway line before the Hyundai arrived and instead of waiting thought it would make things awkward. What was it thinking, scaled against the number plate he’s just over half a metre from the kerb, did he want the other car to stop and reverse back ? I would have held back then, and like you, because it looked as if the Ford was already in the junction. Normally chicanes are constructed in thirty limits to slow vehicles down and should probably have been removed when it was reduced to twenty. Do you think it’s necessary ? Surely travelling at a constant twenty would produce less pollution than brake and tyre wear, stopping and starting; but I was hearing even zero local emission cars will soon have to pay congestion charges, the word cash cow comes to mind. Neither cycle gave you the required metre and a half either !

If you can see a car approaching you are required to stop, if you impede the car with priority you have not given way, Getting to the obstruction first does not give you priority.
@@rjk69 Read the high way code you absolute tool. If a car has already passed the priority sign and the vehicle on the other side hasn't approached yet, they have to give way to the oncoming car no matter if it's their right of way or not.
