I love the “well done” Thor gives Tony. Like he’s giving him props for making something that was worthy enough to hold the hammer at all...impressive
It was more of a sarcasm as thor always seemed insecure early on when cap almost lifted the hammer. He probably used it feed his ego that only he is the "worthy" one. So "well done" is anything but thor giving props to stark😂

It’s all the power balancing. They did it to thor in infinity war and endgame. He was too powerful to have any serious opponent so they made him fat and out of shape so he could go back to a balanced character. And captain marvel not being there until the very end of endgame

Yeah, they had to nerf everyone, about third of the movies were leading up to nerfs and making a conflict inside avengers so they would part ways and wouldn't be able to stop Thanos. Injuring Vision in the beginning was an obvious choice, seeing how for example how powerful Scarlett Witch was. Adding Vision to the game would be impossible to fight against

That's a good question. I think he was just doing it to gain their trust, but I can't be sure.

It shows that the hammer deemed him worthy enough to wield the hammer. The hammer saw that Vision had a pure heart, same goes with Captain American. That's why both of them were able to wield Mjölnir.
Its not like that the enchantment doesn't work on androids its just for living beings vision can lift it but can't wield the powers of thor like captain america did cause he is not a living being

I love how profoundly quickly vision comes to the conclusion that he is his own individual and that he isn't bound by Ultrons or any of the Avengers will. Makes sense for what is essentially a vibranium android whose anatomy was designed around the mind stone.

It's interesting how Cap switches gears from "I don't know if we can trust you" to "Let's go" after seeing Vision lift Thor's hammer.
He understands from experience that the enchantment is exactly what Thor says it is; Vision is worthy.
I dont think Vision was Worthy, more like a Android lifting the Hammer like the Elevetor Talk, he is a Machine not really a living being. Since, Vision never got any of Thors Power, he wasnt able to Recall the Hammer or use Lightning, nor did it seemed like he got any power boost. I dont think the Enchantment works on Vision, either because he isnt a real Person or because the Mindstone Nulliefies the Enchantment, either way, Vision lifting the Hammer isnt because he was Worthy. Altough obviously he is Worthy for being what it requires like Cap, but again i dont think the Enchantment worked on him because he is a Machine.
@@brucedoyle4055 I am not sure about this, since Vision's entire dialogue before picking up the hammer is him displaying characteristics of someone worthy. Choosing life despite having access to all the same power and information as Ultron, empathising with Ultron's pain yet still deciding he needs to be stopped, and being humble enough to admit he needs all the avengers help. Plus he's a living thing, sentient with human cells (albeit laced with vibranium), as he says, he isn't just an AI given form or he'd still be Jarvis.

In case your wondering Steve could've lifted the hammer in Age of Ultron, he just chose not to. But [Jeremy Renner] conveys so much within just a second without uttering a word.
