- I don’t know I just thought it would be funny if I made an in universe podcast for the DC universe. Like there’s no way to win the Batman family is out being super heroes they just sit in silence. They have to be listening to something. This is my interpretation of that I guess. Also, I’ve always thought Superman and Batman and it makes more sense for Bruce Wayne to be Superman I guess? The reveal that *Clark Kent* has a really good theory on who Superman is, is absolutely hilarious.
He does raise the very good point that most people have absolutely no idea what newspaper reporters look like. Does Lois Lane move into TV at some point though? With Jimmy as her cameraman or something? Or is that Roxanne Richie from Megamind?

He raises some good points. I mean, if he did have some kind of secret identity, why doesn't he wear a mask? And after all the years Superman has been working, nobody has ever seen him change his face. Shape-shifting is one of those things that is just too useful not to use in combat. Heck, the Mars guy uses that power all the time.

Fun Fact, there's a comic where Death Stroke tries to kill Bruce Wayne on a boat, but it's actually Superman posing as Bruce, so he doesn't die. I love the idea of Deathstroke thinking that Bruce Wayne is actually Superman, so the next time he tries to kill Bruce he brings kryptonite but it doesn't have any affect on him. And instead of thinking, "Oh, he's not superman," he ends up thinking that Superman has no weaknesses and he's just been feigning it whenever someone pulls out kryptonite. So then he just spirals into more and more misunderstandings as he tries to kill other heroes. He ends up finding out that other people are superheroes, but he keeps getting their identities wrong. He thinks Barry Allen is Martian Manhunter because he saw Barry in his civilian clothes phase through a wall. He tries killing John Stewart but he sees a green force field suddenly surround him, which makes him think he's actually Cyborg in disguise. Then he hears about Oliver Queen making a secret underground cave and thinks he's Batman making a new Batcave.

A more plausible conspiracy theory would be Batman secretly being Lex Luthor.
That makes so much sense Lex has a very public disliking of superman and clearly thinks he’s better than him, and then out of nowhere this vigilante shows up across the bay in the much more dangerous city and is able to control the crime there bare in mind this vigilante is clearly rich and has a lot of military tech like lex corp makes and has a rivalry with the man of steal. Like obviously Batman is Lex Luther. Plus lexcorp and Wayne tech are rivals and we all know Bruce Wayne is superman.
And whilst we are on the topic of rich superheroes clearly Wonder Woman is Oliver Queen in drag Wonder Woman comes from a mystical island where she learned to fight Oliver Queen was stranded on a mystical island for 5 years were he clearly learned all sorts of survival skill including probably how to fight. Like that one feel obvious

@@blistow3519 I could see people in the DC universe believing that up until you get to the point where Lex is a public supervillain, and you can see Batman fighting him with the Justice League.
It's usually a good number of years until Lex goes full villain in the history of most DC worlds, so the Lex is Batman theory could circulate for quite some time.

I work at the Central City Police District, the last time Brainiac attacked, i saw one of my co-workers (i think it was a guy from the forensic lab) just vanished, and then when i looked at the TV, Superman arrived to fight Brainiac's robots, I think we sould consider that maybe there is more than one Superman.

The same thing happened to me. I work as a communicator for ferris airfield, we were doing a routine test over metropolis just to make sure or stealth systems still work at long distances. Suddenly darkseid appears out of nowhere, in the middle of the city,and I'm thinking "oh no what if he hits the plane or something". I get on the comms tell my guy to turn around we have enough data I'll take the heat for ending the test early. I get the message planes on auto pilot and not two seconds later, who's fighting darkseid? Superman! The rest of the justice league not far behind him. There's obviously multiple supermen

I need more of this podcast. Like I can totally see villains like riddler or penguin trying to get on it to argue there intelligence/ incidents when it comes to the vigilantes (basically just a private military ) I’m Gotham

I hope you guys do more of these types of videos. It is honestly insane how realistic this concept would be and how funny it would be to see heroes like the Batfamily, Spiderman or Superman listen to conspiracy theorists in their world try and figure out their identity.

Now here me out, those gadgets that Batman uses are expensive. And I think a billionaire who runs a tech company I might add, would totally do that. He also has that deep voice, and he says how much he loves Superman. (Maybe even enough it fund the watchtower?) and if we are going off the Bruce Wayne is Superman this could explain Batman and Superman’s friendship, because remember the Lexcorp and WayneTech partnership. I never considered that, who knows what kind of weird secrets the Wayne's are hiding. It'd be pretty stupid for Bruce Wayne to spend millions on super hero gear and defend his *own* city. People would immediately think it was him. But defending another city he has no connection to makes sense.
This is why I like Luthor better, he doesn't fight anyone or hide anything from the public.

Bruce has such an ego. Imagine the kind of person you gotta be to dress up like that and go be humanity's "saviour". He's just the complete opposite of Lex. Lex actually helps the people instead of feeding his own ego. Lex would never embezzle money from his own company to pretend to be a "god".
@@conit4125, yeah, exactly. This is more of a theory but I think that giant robot that attacked Metropolis last Fall might have been built by Bruce Wayne so he could fight it as Superman. Think about it, if he can make superhero tech then giant robots and fake aliens invaders would be easy.
This is why I'm voting for Luthor as mayor next year. He'd never attack a city he lives in just to flex his ego or intelligence, like some kind of mad scientist.

Ironic that he would use Toymaker, Cosmo Krank, for this. Toymaker is a villain from "The Batman", but his modus operandi is the exact same as Superman's iconic foe, The Toyman. Since this is a podcast about Bruce Wayne being Superman, it's clever to use a Batman villain, for Superman to fight, who's pretty much just a reskinned Superman villain.

I literally had a dream about almost this exact concept back on February 21st 2023.
The dream was about LEGO Batman, and Batman was on the news being interviewed about Gotham City, specifically how the city’s insane crime rates should’ve made Wayne Enterprises go out of business years ago, and Batman said this:
“Wanna know why Wayne Enterprises is still in business? It’s because Bruce Wayne has a secret identity. By day he’s a multi-billionaire CEO playboy, but by night he’s a _superhero._ You might be thinking: which superhero could Bruce be? Well… I’ll tell you: _it’s _*_Green Lantern._* Just think about it! Wayne Enterprises comes up with crazy-advanced tech all the time, and what does the green lantern ring do? It creates stuff! Plus, have you ever seen Bruce Wayne & Green Lantern in the same room? No one has! And, sure, their hairdos are different colors, but this is the LEGO universe! You realize how easy it is to swap your hair piece? Takes less than two seconds!”

This is Definetly something I’d listen to tbh. I could also see an entire episode about theorizing that Lois Lane is Wonder Woman. Considering that she does help Superman from time to time, it leaves people wondering if it’s not just Superman’s teammate helping from the backstage. Plus he always comes to rescue her, likely to help avoid outing her as Wonder Woman. As well as that the same tech could be shared by Bruce to Lois to disguise their faces. Especially if we’re to believe she’s got an invisible jet, it would add to believing Bruce Wayne as Superman is supplying her the tech needed.

That’s been my assumption for the last few years. The public is aware of the Fortress of Solitude is publicly available information (even if details about it aren’t) and in general everyone knows Superman is from a hyper-advanced alien civilization, so it’s not a stretch to think that Superman lives there and needs no secret identity

Please make more of these; this is a genius concept. I would love to hear one discussing the different Flashes/Green Lanterns and where they keep coming from, since the public would have no idea about the identity changes.
That was pretty good, I'd like some more with maybe having a Poison Ivy apologist on (after all she does fight for the environment or sth) or maybe some stage magician who is convinced that Zatanna has actual magical powers, somebody who was previously brainwashed by Mad Hatter or a goon who previously worked for the Joker and tries to make a career out of it post-prison...
Now these are good ideas! They can make interesting interviews with villains ex henchmen who just got released from prison. Like Ivy apologist you mention, or Mr Freeze apologist who actually his brother in law who just want to help Freeze cure his sister. Or even joker henchman who watched that TV show when joker shot Murray when he was a teen in an abusive family and became his loyal henchman ever since.
I love listening to in-fiction lore/wordbuilding that reflects the mundane of real life, podcasts discussing conspiracies of superhero identities is amazinf

The idea of Lex Luthor showing up on Joe Rogan style podcasts to try and push some sort of alpha male billionaire brand image and disparage superheroes is so amazing. And like, of course he would run ads on shows like those and support them. Turning public opinion againat Supes through a huge disinformation campaign sounds like something he would totally do.

This is such a great idea tbh, and I loved the delivery throughout. It feels like a “Hunt for Truth” style thing if anyone remembers that from the Halo 5 promos, but with a higher focus on comedy, especially since we the audience have all the information the podcasters don’t.
