I love your videos, they are so helpful and easy to understand. I have a question though. Every time I use the quick selection tool it doesn't work like I see it does for you. I drag it around the image and it starts out fine but it always ends up just selecting the whole canvas and not a specific area. What am I doing wrong?
First, make sure that you are on the right layer. Un-check "sample all layers" from the options bar, and experiment with different size brushes. That's all really.

In my case I use the measurements in inches, I almost always use the canvas size 8.5 x 11 & 300 dpi resolution to print. Thank you again.

hey thanks for the video. Does someone know how to make filter gallery work with 16bit image? When working in 16bit filter gallery is greyed out. While when I switch to 8bit, the filter gallery becomes available. Thank you.
