HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY AARON TROMBLEY! I waited three days so I could wish you Happy Birthday!! Keep living a beautiful life! I was 14 in 87 and just graduating 8th grade. 😅 I know less today..
I definitely remember some of these Saturday morning cartoons. Anybody remember Force Five? It played on channel 25, Monday thru Friday. It was a different cartoon each day. Gaiking, Grendizer, Starvengers & Dangaurd Ace were my favorites of the 5 shows.
All my core memories unlocked in one video! I had the Spiral Zone lunchbox and thermos. Some.of the toys too. I loved all of these shows. Wheeled Warriors toys were great but none of them came with any of the characters, just a generic guy in a brown jumpsuit lol. The theme songs to all of these shows were just outstanding.
I really wish it could be. It's a wonderful mess, and I bought it on low res bootlegs back in the early 2000's. I was surprised Orbots got released. I doubt anyone owns it now.
As an elder millennial.... I loved all these shows (although never heard of spiral zone until now). M.A.S.K was also one of the great ones. Such a great time for animation on TV.
@GenXCountdown Actually I think 80's cartoons were way better and I remember them more fondly than anything from the 90's with the exception of the X-Men.
My brain is just exploding with nostalgia after this. With many of these shows being half hour commercials for toys really worked on me. I had C.O.P.S., Visionaries, and Bravestar toys. The Silverhawks was one of my favorites. I had a couple of Spiral Zone toys. We didn't have money growing up so I usually had just one or two toys of each of these franchises.
I loved Orbots and still don't understand why it got canceled. I remember all and loved most of these shows. Missing Robotix, and a few others. Loved the Robotix toys.
Orbots was a blast. So many of these really were magical and enthralling. A few I get canceling but most were ahead of their time or edged out by Japanese animation possibly.
The toy company got sued by the Go-Bots people. Dezaki-san who also created Bionic 6 gave us some of the most insane animation ever in this show. At times it rivals Disney quality. Fortunately, it's been released on (crappy) DVD's so now I finally have it.
Spiral Zone was known in Brazil as The Zone Riders, the heroes group. I loved the concept and the monocycle motorcycles. The story was awesome and that’s right, it was a scary Sci-Fi.
Everyone you mentioned, except for the Spiral zone were the best cartoons and why we couldn't wait till Saturday morning. I was very disappointed by Wheel Wariors. I fond a DVD with all the episode. That one and Mighty Orbots 😢 broke my heart.
I remember about half of these, Silverhawks was one of my favourite shows, such a fantastic world. My cousins had toys for COPS and Bravestar that I always loved playing with. Interesting thing about The Real Ghostbusters is that J. Michael Straczynski, best known for the 90’s sci-fi show ‘Babylon 5’, wrote a bunch of the episodes.
I remember many of these shows as a tween and teenager, there were a few I honestly dont think I ever saw. Star Blazers is one of the earliest ones I can remember. The Littles I definitely remember as I watched it with my little sister as she loved the show. This list makes me feel so old now as I think back on all the cartoons I watched as a kid LoL 🤣
Great list and vid. I can honestly say, at some point I watched all of these. Honorable mention to The Inhumanoids, and even Skycommanders, and Starcom. A time when cartoons were actually good. 👍🏾 Wheeled Warriors had the best intro. 🤘🏾
loved watching COPS and BeetleJuice right before going to elementary school each morning. i also loved watching Beverly Hills Teen. i was 11-12 years old around the time these shows came on. great list.
I can't believe Dinosaucers had one season only. Everything is great and marketable in that cartoon. Visionaires always stroke me as a cartoon created to push selling the toys with the holograms. And Spiral Zone was wild. Their bleak premises hypnotized me.
Spiral Zone was an excellent show and still holds up very well today. You might be able find bootleg DVDs to watch. Honorable mentions: Galaxy Rangers, Centurions and Mighty Max. Just the theme song alone for Galaxy rangers deserves a place on the list.
@@AlaskaCrab-p5m Not AI 😅 I do all the editing of clips and gathering of info as well as the narration myself. I do put my voice through a filter though as I do these at work or in lunch and it sounds horrible. The filter works great most of the time but it really evens out my tone when I talk.
Okay as that kid who grew up to become animator I guess I don't count, but I remember watching most of these. Dinosaucers, Zorro, Mighty Orbots, Turbo Teen, and Spiral Zone are amongst the most rare shows since they fell out of syndication quickly, and/or not released on media. There are many more though. Hell yeah! Great vid, brother! Totally subscribed! 👊🏾
Thanks. ❤ my birthday is on the 24th, and I needed this. I'm Generation X😊 I was 10 years old in 87😊
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY AARON TROMBLEY! I waited three days so I could wish you Happy Birthday!! Keep living a beautiful life! I was 14 in 87 and just graduating 8th grade. 😅
I know less today..
I definitely remember some of these Saturday morning cartoons. Anybody remember Force Five? It played on channel 25, Monday thru Friday. It was a different cartoon each day. Gaiking, Grendizer, Starvengers & Dangaurd Ace were my favorites of the 5 shows.
Oh man! Dangaurd Ace!!! I totally forgot all about Force 5!!!
I have the DVD collection of SilverHawks. Will bring them out every once and a while on Sat mornings for fun.
Alex that sounds like the perfect rainy afternoon man! 😊
I was surprised to see that Galaxy Rangers wasn't on this list. 🤔
It’s on the next one!
@@GenXCountdown SWEET
That's exactly what I was thinking, that show was probably the most we'll written show of the 90s.
I loved Dino Saucers, Wuzzles, C.O.P.S., The Littles, The Real Ghostbusters, and more. These were great cartoons.
I watched Spiral Zone. I was a young adult back then. It was very dark-even for me.
The entire concept is right in my wheelhouse of what I would watch endlessly. Such a shame man.
Lots of these on NBC every Saturday back in the day
For sure it’s was the main spot!
M.A.S.K., C.O.P.S., Galaxy Rangers, Bionic Six were some of my favorites!
Just uploaded the Galaxy Rangers, I’ll have to work MASK in. That one was awesome!
Thanks for remembering guys keep putting it up Osborne 76 I watched everything
‘73 here!! Let’s goooo!!!
I love your channel man! 👍 A channel dedicated to Gen X cartoons!
Thanks so much! I really really appreciate that!
I still get the theme song to silver hawks in my head from time to time
bionic six needs to be realised on dvd
I really wish it could be. It's a wonderful mess, and I bought it on low res bootlegs back in the early 2000's. I was surprised Orbots got released. I doubt anyone owns it now.
I loved kid video as well..what a time to be a kid..
That’s exactly how I feel about those days. What a time to be alive! BMX bikes and Cartoons, striped knee socks and orange juice concentrate 😅
Visionaries was so elite. loved that jawn
😂 no lies detected!
Inhumanoids, Bucky O'hare, Madballs...man it's a few forgotten gems I would like to revisit!😊
Bucky O’Hare and Madballs! Oh man!!!
As an elder millennial.... I loved all these shows (although never heard of spiral zone until now). M.A.S.K was also one of the great ones. Such a great time for animation on TV.
Agreed! You’d likely resonate more with the early and mid 90s cartoons I’d bet. And those had some BANGERS!!! Are there any you recall specifically?
@GenXCountdown Actually I think 80's cartoons were way better and I remember them more fondly than anything from the 90's with the exception of the X-Men.
@portugalsmafia solid pick!! 💕
@@aestroai8012 so wack. Orbots deserved better
Spiral Zone was known in Brazil as The Zone Riders, the heroes group. I loved the concept and the monocycle motorcycles. The story was awesome and that’s right, it was a scary Sci-Fi.
Agreed it was really dark for a kids show. I love the most of these played everywhere!
Pole Position talking cars somehow was the inspiration for Knight Rider starring David Hasselhoff.
Everyone you mentioned, except for the Spiral zone were the best cartoons and why we couldn't wait till Saturday morning. I was very disappointed by Wheel Wariors. I fond a DVD with all the episode. That one and Mighty Orbots 😢 broke my heart.
💔 Ronald, let’s heal together by popping some wheelies! 🚲
The littles was definitely a thing
Great trip down memory lane! But, ummmm...DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS.
Hell of a list.
Centurions was one I loved but gets forgotten
Got em!!! 10 FORGOTTEN 80s CARTOONS THAT MADE GENX CRY!

This was great, thank you and you really took me back👍🏽 all I need is a bowl of cereal and my PJs. Am I BMX bike🤣
You and me both! Thanks Big Man!!
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is great. The opening song has to be one of the best for any cartoon.
Hands down man! 100% agree!
Was just called Galaxy high here. The line with three snorkels with lips on the end freaked me out as a kid.
DINOSAUCERS!!!!!!! 😱😱😱
I loved this show. So awesome.
Great list and vid. I can honestly say, at some point I watched all of these. Honorable mention to The Inhumanoids, and even Skycommanders, and Starcom. A time when cartoons were actually good. 👍🏾 Wheeled Warriors had the best intro. 🤘🏾
Sky Commanders and Starcom! YES!!!
I can still hear the theme from the Mighty Orbots playing in my head. Catch myself singing it from time to time lol
That hilarious! So many of these will stick with you and some I haven’t thought of in decades but knew all the words!
loved watching COPS and BeetleJuice right before going to elementary school each morning. i also loved watching Beverly Hills Teen. i was 11-12 years old around the time these shows came on.
great list.
@@SiccDeville COPS really did have a different vibe compared to the others. It was like Cartoon Gritty 😅
I can't believe Dinosaucers had one season only. Everything is great and marketable in that cartoon.
Visionaires always stroke me as a cartoon created to push selling the toys with the holograms.
And Spiral Zone was wild. Their bleak premises hypnotized me.
Agreed, Dino’s was a blast with great tie ins.
Spiral Zone was an excellent show and still holds up very well today. You might be able find bootleg DVDs to watch.
Honorable mentions: Galaxy Rangers, Centurions and Mighty Max. Just the theme song alone for Galaxy rangers deserves a place on the list.
Need to find hard copies of some of these shows.
I know we are all always searching!
Man, I had some of those " Jace " toys. They were awesome!!!!
They totally were!
Awesome!! Bring back for us. Ai? Style. Cool...
Orbits also faced issues because its design was similar to another animated combiner robot, God Mars.
Did I miss Galaxy Rangers? That was such an awesome show.
Hid it over here with a few more BEAUTIFUL additions man! 10 FORGOTTEN 80s CARTOONS THAT MADE GENX CRY!

I loved the Orbots!
They were a lot of fun! It was a great show!
I loved this series too, and this show was cool too.
I haven't thought about Kidd Video since the 80's !
The Real Ghostbusters was my bread and butter growing up. Toys, lunch box and went as Egon for Halloween three times.
These companies cranked this stuff out back then, and it was great!
