It turned out really nice 😄.but my brother Judahs pie came out looking like a round volcano because he didn't listen property to my nana instruction HAHA but it still toast so yummie .my dad had some and he said it was THE best pineapple recipe he has tasted. Hello Uso Rob, I used the rice to blind bake the pie pastry first before adding the pineapple filling when the pie pastry was completely cooled. The weight of the rice in the foil will stop the pastry from puffing up. I hope that's clear explanation. Thanks for the support 🙏🏻

Hello Uso Rob, I used the rice to blind bake the pie pastry first before adding the pineapple filling when the pie pastry was completely cooled. The weight of the rice in the foil will stop the pastry from puffing up. I hope that's clear explanation. Thanks for the support 🙏🏻
