I doubt there are 10 of those, let alone 10 that got played a lot.
I will always hold a grudge against Wizards for making Kappa Tech-Wrecker. They could've given fans a treat and made it a Ninja Turtle instead of being a mere Turtle Ninja. It's just...not right.
Because of naming conventions, creatures display their species first followed by class.
I'm a big fan of turtles. In fact, I think everyone is. Heck, one of the few things I enjoy more than turtles would have to be "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)"!

Colossal Skyturtle is my fave: two great channel effects, great art, its a flying turtle, 10/10
Despite being such an old card, Giant Turtle's text remains exactly the same, except for the "may" part
I run a butt damage deck in Selesnya (Tadeas) and my favorite recent add has been the Bedrock Tortoise
i dont know if it counts. but "steelbane hydra" is one of my favorite turtle looking creatures in mtg. because it works great with mana ramp, it's green, and you can use it to destroy plenty of opponents artifacts and enchantments and use it to be a large creature aswell.
I liked the Shigeki and Skyturtle loops. It was a fun deck to play.
at 8:59 you say "whenever ANOTHER artifact enters" but kappa actually sees itself come into play as well.
Hell yea, one of my two favorite creature types getting covered!
So happy chimeric Idol made the list. Was fun playing this in school back in 2000s

Surprised Fecund Greenshell isn't on here but I guess that card is too new to really have consistent usage stats. It does so much work in landfall and go wide based decks.

Chimeric Idol was awesome in its day. Chimeric Idol + Mox Diamond + Propaganda + Wrath of God + Armageddon (4 of each, natch).
I ran it in a mono-red aggro since I rarely have untapped lands anyway... a Wildfire deck bec it helps stave off aggressive decks and helps ensure Scoria Cat is always a 6/6, and a Green Stompy for the same reason as Mono-red

Hey, with the new scheme cards coming out could you do a top ten scheme cards? I know you wouldn’t have tournament listings to pull from but it would still be cool to see.

Also, during the standard of Chimeric Idol's time, having all your lands tapped actually has benefit, as some cards actually get stronger during that state. I ran the Idol and Scoria Cat in my version of Wildfire bec I couldn't get my hands on better cards, but both worked surprisingly well and they eventually became permanent parts of the deck

The best by far is Mistform Ultimus or any creature with Changeling as they are the only creatures in the game that count as Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I think the most surprising spot on this list was Chimeric Idol. That old card put up a lot of points, and was part of one of the worst sets in history.

Mr. Nizzahon,
I appreciate your explanation of why Chimeric Idol should be at the #3 spot. However, after watching you roast countless bad cards in your "Top 10 Worst" videos, I believe this card is utter trash!
It's a 3 mana artifact that can SOMETIMES become a vanilla 3/3 by tapping all of your lands. That means your probably not swinging until turn 4. The effect of tapping all lands only gets worse as the game goes on. You could spend the mana on other spells before you activate the ability, however you will always be tapped out during your opponents turn.
It's pretty bad to today's players -- it's true. But to make it on a worst list, it had to be bad in it's original context -- and it definitely wasn't.
I am a huge turtle lover and am exciting whenever i see a new turtle in a new set and i got even more excited when i saw a top 10 turtles thank you @nizzahon
