The weirdest thing about this subject which has always messed with my head, is that the very people who don't want definitions and labels placed upon them, are the ones who create definitions and labels for themselves and then impose them on everyone else to follow. And then, when those people don't follow those definitions and labels, the ones who have imposed them upon others get vehemently upset about it. I don't understand what that is. Does anyone? I mean really?
Kinda. I'll tell you about how I see that. I was a pretty troubled kid, was adopted into a pharmaceutical family wit a narcissist adoptive mother. Because I was different as a child, they saw this as a problem to 'fix' . Because it wasn't in line with their standards then then starts drugging me on many psychotropics to 'control' me. This is how society sees true critical thinking people. They're terrified. These people break down everything they though they knew. The discomfort then sets in. They then need to use labels to think that they understand what they can't understand. The labels are to justify to themselves 'what' this unknown entity is to them. In the case of these sjw identity politic types, it leans much more I believe toward an inward narcissism and sense of entitlement. The labels they make seem to be consistent with a misunderstanding or failure to understand, and a heightened individual need to... vilify and justify the ends of their thoughts, which have been much influenced by the propaganda bombardment of identity politics. We're basically seeing a war of minds. And it's exposing the bad in people also which is good to identify them.
@@Digitizeddragon Yeah that's true, I agree with you on that. It's a tribal mentality. It's the way we've always been as human beings. The closer knit our specific tribe is, the more protected we feel. Ironically, the more we keep splintering ourselves into these smaller and smaller groups the more we're going to start seeing other groups as the enemy, when in reality we all started off as the same group.
@@HTSGOSU Yeah, and you're calling me a "Cis male" so, that's a label you're using to marginalize me. see how that works? I don't have a label to describe myself, I'm just me. That's my entire point here.
I think shifting the focus on sex, gender and sexual orientation completely diverts the focus away from poverty, which is almost never represented in popular culture or politics any more. It also provides the illusion of freedom, that we can be who we want to be, while at the same time being constantly surveilled, having our data grabbed and sold, and our civil liberties eroded and with it our ability to protest, unionise, mobilise, not to mention the loss of free speech.
This is spot on. I've had these same thoughts but you explain them in the perfect way. They don't want people to realize what separates them is far different than what unify's them.
The BIGGEST problem we have here is a narcissism problem which I believe was triggered by and is being catapulted by social media and greed. People feel so invisible and so insecure that they are jumping on any bandwagon to have a voice and feel like they are a part of something important. People need likes and shares like they need air. We are an incredibly insecure society that screams “we don’t need your validation” while simultaneously demanding everyones’ validation. We used to seek validation from people we cared about and people close to us. Now we seek validation from everyone and are hurt and offended when we dont get it. Its a mess.
100% agree! This is the age of Narcissism! Totally fed and fueled by social media. The narcissistic are the most easily offended, believe their feelings are facts, have low to no empathy for others, need constant outside validation and attention, and have the emotional maturity of a 5 yr old. Sadly some people will torture animals and post videos on RUclips just to get likes or subscribers. I sure hope I don’t have to reincarnate !
Totally agree. Tik tok is full of GeN Z's claiming to suffer from tourettes, ADHD, OCD, multiple personality disorder and to be on the non binary/transgender spectrum (whatever that is). Mental illness is the fad of this generation. A bunch of bratty narcissists screaming at us that we WILL accept their ideology and we will participate in their identity. We will validate their identity.

Not at all, it's a concern for anyone who recognises that a) theirs may be very different to those around them and b) there is a great danger if those people do not accept anything outside the norm. Not rocket science. Fortunately for the first world, a lot of progress has been made, in spite of the dum dums that we find congealing in youtube and facebook comments sections. In the third world however, the aforementioned concerns have far, far more serious implications in many cases. So not only was your (popular) comment retarded, it's also objectively incorrect.
As a young boy, I used to watch Jem and She-Ra. I had both the dolls. I played with my neighbor's Barbies because she didn't have Transformers. I also loved Spider-Man and Batman. The best argument I've heard for sex being binary is: "100 years from now I could dig up your bones and test your DNA. It could never tell me what you think or how you feel, but it would tell me without a doubt whether you were male or female." Sex is chromosomal. Plain and simple.
Yeah but the trans issue is a gender issue not a sex issue. They way I understand it is that sex is determined by biological factors while gender is more of the role that the associated sex typically has in the species. So you can be male but act like a woman and that would qualify you as a woman but not a female.
@@theashennamedjerry3203 No. That would qualify you as a TRANS woman. Male & Female, Girl & Boy, Woman and Man. Kindergarteners know the difference. You have to go to liberal arts college to "learn" that sex and gender are unrelated. Which is of course utter nonsense. Working in the mental health field has become so difficult for us who don’t go along with all these new ideas. We’ve been told to believe things that haven’t been proven to us. I got 3 questions about LGBT concepts on my US exam, and they were about compelled speech (ie. preferred pronouns, name/dead name). It made me kinda chuckle how instead of testing me more on actual diseases they gave 3 points on preferred pronouns and those nonsense. It also felt like America was telling me "If you wanna work and live here, you better throw away your own principles and accept the trans agenda".
Serious question: if gender is “fluid” as some put it, how can you identify outside of the gender you were born with without acknowledging predetermined stereotypes. What does it mean to feel like a boy? You enjoy doing “masculine” things? Okay, that doesn’t make you a male. That makes you a tomboy, which we always had as a society. Unhappiness comes when you don’t accept who you are and the circumstances of which you were born.

Exactly this. I hope it’s obvious to others. Divide and conquer. Gender, race, religion, white hate, Asian hate, identity politics - all methods to divide. United we stand, divided we fall.
Right, notice how everyone has forgotten about class issues. All corporations have jumped on board with BLM and LGBT, but if there was a movement of unionizing workers, they would shut it down immediately. Identity politics have been used throughout history as a post-structuralist analysis to quell criticisms of capitalism. That's what you see happening right now. Class is the root of all legitimate identity concerns. Focusing on the interpersonal dynamics of working class people distracts us from dismantling the ruling class.
I worked at Berklee College of Music in 1991.. we had a new student who had recently begun the transition to female. It came up in a staff meeting for 20 seconds, just as a heads up, and that was it. Literally no one was phased. She used the girls bathroom and since there was only one stall anyway, no one cared. That was 1991. In 2007 I was teaching in Phoenix and.. same thing. Again, no one was phased. Then all of a sudden in 2016 we were about to have all these new regulations where, for example, we weren’t allowed to use the students’ first names for the first two weeks - in case they happened to transition during the first two weeks and might get offended if we used the wrong name. Whaaaaa??? Whyyyy?? The transgender students I ever met don’t generally get offended. I think it was top down govt regulation.
Exactly. Most transgenders I know just want to live there life and be left alone. Yes they face discrimination and have a hard time accessing medical care sometimes which is important to remedy but most people are taking it way to far when no one asked for it.
All trans people I've met are literally so chill and nice, the media portraits them as crazy activists and neo liberals are so up their own ass trying to come off as progressive that they end up hurting the minority groups they try to protect with those kind of regulations.
theres definitely a ring leader deciding all of this, that gets handed to a group that implements these new regulations. this is a powerful entity as we are seeing this being blasted down our throats in academia, media, etc etc..I bet this ring leader is a man, or group of men. look up investigative journalist, Jennifer Bilek, she goes in deep on who is behind the trans agenda. There are original people part of the lgb who dont associate with what it has become now, this before they added the TQ, and they want the TQ removed, there is a different ringleader running that group now.

It's something to think about. Some people are more modest than others...I don't understand why the Trans Agenda is being pushed so much. .That also seems odd since Transgenderism is only 1-2 % of the population. If you shove agendas down people's throats..whether Transgenderism,Equity a tricky word),Inclusion...these all take on a different vibe when it's shoved down our throats. It needs to stop.

That can be nothing more than a state of mind or mood in some instances, or if anything more of a psychological and possibly hormonal issue. The problem is that you're biologically a distinct gender, which is discriminated against when it comes to sports because of natural advantages and disadvantages that come with either being male or female. It's not some ploy to invalidate you as a person or demean you in any way, but to preserve the competitiveness and integrity of the games. A guy once told me that gender is the sum of all your interests and attitudes, your own unique amalgamation of what makes you who you are. No dude, that's your personality
@Ra Shaan the key well-documented gender-defined personality traits of men and women are higher neuroticism and an interest in people over things. Of course there's more differences documented in our behaviour, which moreso tend to be context-specifc, but generally speaking, yeah - a lot of 'genders' are just labels of certain personality types. personality types are nothing new either, and the entire field of gender literature is very controversial as research requires approval before publication, so rallying trans activists inhibit the publication of research against the findings they agree with, which is pretty tyrannical.
@Ra Shaan moreover, the separation of gender and sex serves no real societal contribution. if gender is truly this entirely social construct, with no true ties to biology (although the LGBT community flips on this whenever they deem appropriate) then it's purpose has to be questioned. if it simply serves to further divide people and limit them, outlining what contributions they should and should not make, it's nothing short of discriminatory and segregating. the newly defined concept of gender promoting ideas of a 'spectrum' is utterly useless. all this would suggest is that we are each individually different to any extent: an idea which psychological literature already evidenced across several decades. tying gender into it seems to only serve the purpose of creating more labels for people to further divide themselves, and the socioethical implications of this can be pretty damning, considering how well it aligns with an early stage of a divide and conquer strategy.
A few years ago I started a new job and got called into HR after a few months for having an argument with a lady at work, and I was told my transphobic attitude needed to change. A lose lose situation every time unless you shave your head or dye your hair blue.
My undergrad is biology. I also felt this complete conflation between gender and sex - even by some biology professors. It was astonishing. It’s like gender is fluid and is felt, ok fine. But why the SEX change then??? And they are insisting on being called their gender. But humans don’t see gender, they see sex because that is the biological reality. And one more thing, besides intersex being very rare, individuals almost always predominately present as closest to one sex or the other. Unfortunately, a burden of these conditions is infertility in most cases! It’s not really a sex - it is Intersex.. like the definition. They are trying to disregard definitions exactly because they have adopted postmodernism to the extreme, as the video pointed out. Doesn’t change the reality of the world.
They would probably say that logic, deductive and inductive reasoning are sociological constructions of the western patriarchy, expressly rationalised to provide power to old white men. You aren't talking to a rational actor at that point.
+Calvin Tower You don't seem to be paying attention in classes. The consensus in Biology is NOT to conflate gender and sex. How can people see sex? The concept is nonsensical. Have you tried expressing your ideas in a way that isn't completely contradictory and inane? You might do better in all of your courses.
If you see a transitioned transwoman on the street and she looks like every other woman, you would see a woman though, which means you do see gender. You gender people all the time without realizing it, if you see someone who doesn't look completely like a man or a woman, you take a moment to let your brain decide which gender they appear to express themselves as. You don't go digging around their genitals. It's dishonest to say that people don't see gender, you certainly notice when people don't fit into the "norms" of their gender. @@lawrenceharold8599 and yet the lgbtqxyz world DOES conflate gender with sex while claiming that gender and sex are different, you brainlet. That's the point.
I remember everything Colin Wright is talking about. I saw the rise and fall of the Atheist and sceptic community on RUclips back then. This whole thing is really surreal to me. I'm trans and knew I was before I even heard about the idea of "trans" as people know it now; it's just the best description I can find. I grew up in the 90s and for me it had nothing to do with all this anarcho-communist post-modern woke crazy stuff. When we were all talking about it in early RUclips, the people who were the "weird tran****", we had a very STRICT difference in our perception and definition of sex and gender. I'll put forth this idea on how that changed: I think it was lost when a new generation of kids came about and into the world where people were talking about trans issues on RUclips. I think that they heard the terms "sex" and "gender" being used and they didn't make any difference between the definition of the two as we used to do. I think it's literally because they were young. Three things I really wish the "trans community" (if there even is one) pushed harder on are: 1) These things are not reversible! (activists started lying and saying that transition was "fully reversible") 2) We should've pushed hard against when the distinction between sex and gender started happening. 3) It's not like "just a choice" as anything else is. People started calling us "Truscum", (us who said that it was all about dealing with gender-dysphoria and that people shouldn't transition unless they really had to and there was no other way for them and they wanted to basically de-alive their person.) - We should've really pushed harder against that. I think one of the main reasons we didn't push harder against those three things is because we started to grow up, and life started to get busy... we didn't have time to sit around on the internet all day, but the "new kids" did, so they took lead over us. Literally, none of this was about ideology for us at all. These kids seem to be in some sort of crazy trend and I feel so sorry for them. They will literally GIVE themselves gender-dysphoria and it's hell.

The obsession with gender goes right back to the 1960's with the second wave of feminism. Gender theory was started by feminists, then it evolved and was adopted by the LGBT activists.

For at least 18 years they have been told that they are special, can be whatever, become whatever and have whatever they want if they just believed. The parents of these people were too frightened to tell their children truth. Honest truth. Every child nowdays never loses, is always highly talented and their true potential is ignored, because for some reason all of them are now polymaths. It's no surprise that the ones who were born in economically better situations don't know what the real world is like growing up. Protected from everything and anything, only for their child not to feel sad. If something didn't work out, it was never their fault. And now they're all virtue-whoring on social media with no sense of reality. Mental
I'd like to politely disagree with your comment saying "It's no surprise that the ones who were born in economically better situations don't know what the real world is like growing up. Protected from everything and anything" I don't think it's fair to say that people of my generation don't know what the real world is like, I'd actually argue that we know a lot more about the real world than any generation before us, mostly due to the internet being around when we grew up and the debt crisis's that we are burdened with atm, However, I'd just say that I 'personally' think a lot of these problems might have come from the rampant "helicopter parenting" that we were exposed to, I'd say the way you teach people when their very young can severely effect them when they become adults and THE LACK to certain stimuli has probably done a lot of this. You can grow up in a perfect world but still be strong, I've seen it, people in their twenties juggling work, social and family life with insane debt and low pay but still soldiering on, being people. I'd argue that every generation had a problem like this, it's just different now because we use different methods.
I'd like to add that what is happening riggt now in the US is a combination of everything you and OP mentioned. A mollycoddled generation exposed to severe economic duress with near absolute cultural inability to endure that stress leads to outbursts that being said as the boomer generation retires this decade the ones making the noise will be incharge, they will learn, in one way shape or form they will learn how the world works and why the way it is so.
...and who HANDED OUT those participation trophies? Boomers. Every generation is ignorant in some capacity, but to call millenials and gen Z ignorant and priviledged makes no sense. I'm european, but it's common knowledge that in America the cost of living and education has sky rocked while salaries have stagnated.
It all stems from people being obsessed with attention from their social media addiction. People will cry and make themselves a victim to get more attention even if makes themselves look like a fool. The sad part of it really is that it's accepted and actually pushed in society to not have a back bone so that people are easily controllable.
On the nose! It's why people get angry and "offended" if you actually try to help and advise them over the internet. Despite complaining about how terrible life is, they don't actually want help, since then they'll no longer be able to complain about it for attention. Freaking upside down world we live in.
The SJW movement started long before elevator-gate. It goes right back to the 90's, even mainstream media started pushing it in the 90's. It started with the feminist movement, then was adapted for LGBT then most recently African Americans. They all use similar themes and methods, and they are now a power bloc under the Democrats. It started when the democrats sold out the working class, they needed something to stay relevant, a platform, and social justice was born. They realized early on that accusing others of sexism/racism was very effective at shutting people up and destroying opponents. This is why social justice has become so extreme and radical today.

There was an interview where a girl was online, on a pic app. and she was explaining how when she was a teen she was talked into questioning her gender based on simple things like; if you don’t like the way your voice sounds in a recording you might not be the right gender, if you don’t feel comfortable in your body it might be a gender problem. She is now older and likes being a female and wants to save other kids from getting confused.
Its quite predatory. Literally no one like the sound of their voice on a recording and ALL young people/people feel uncomfortable in their bodies at some point. ESPECIALLY when we have media/social media/ ads that intend to make them feel uncomfortable about some aspect of themselves. We live in a society of constant self judgment - so that some company can come in and sell you the solution to your woe. Seems like its orchestrated this way on purpose.
It's more so that our generation thinks their life is a story worth telling, when in reality there are tons of people who came before you and more to come

That is perhaps a bad metaphor, but what could be said is biological sex has exceptions to the norm XXY or XY47 or XYY etc are in fact exceptions to biological sex.
Yes, fewspecific exceptions exist to the XY and XX. The biological sex spectrum doesn't. You can say there are a 1000 shades or even an infinite number of shades in a rainbow. There is no infinite spectrum of XX. Or XY.
Its not a spectrum, DSDs or differences of sexual development exist but the human race only exists because of XX and XY. Humans are born with a variety of numbers of fingers and thumbs due to various genetic, mechancial and biological reasons, for example, but humans have 10 digits @matthewkopp2391

My son runaway from home after being brainwashed by several of his gay friends. He lived with a family that accused me of abusing him by not allowing him to transition. He transitioned at age 14 and this family paid for breast implants. To make a long story short, he finally came home at 16 years of age. After a year of deep reflection and support he came to deeply regret transitioning. He basically said it was due to peer pressure and insecurity, he's not even gay. I paid to have his breasts removed but not much else can be done. He struggles with depression due imbalances in his hormones. He's sterile for life and can't achieve erections. It's ruined his life and basically destroyed our family. As the pressure caused a divorce and my other son holds his younger brother accountable. This needs to stop

As a biologist he was willing to “let them have that.” That’s the problem with these slippery slopes. It applies to every human sciences topic. People are stupid and selfish and we have to have principles in academia.
Moral relativism is Satan‘s favorite weapon, because Godless people arrogantly anoint themselves a god so they can determine what they think is right or wrong, which is obviously subjective and not based in objective truth… a dangerous path for a society to take-i.e. see the Roman Empire.
I want to clarify that I’m personally not a biologist. I’m referring to this biologist’s quote in the clip. He clearly didn’t read “If you give a mouse a cookie” when he was a kid.
Went to law school with some people that held a variety of positions on issues. Legalize marijuana, gay rights, white supremacy, list goes on. The problem with activists is they tend to base every aspect of their life on that little tiny issue that most people spend a small fraction of their time thinking or worrying about. To an activist, every conversation has to center on that one thing and really just want an argument to prove that you're racist or whatever. Even changing the subject offends them so deeply that every one in your family tree is part of the problem and somehow evil. It's not good enough to never do anything racist, or sexist, or homophobic, or say yeah I respect your opinion, you have to match their level of passion on a subject. I'll take climate change for example. I'm a bit of an environmentalist, I love to scuba and during my lifetime I have been to a reef or a place when I was far younger and second time sometimes decades later gone back to the same place and have seen noticeable and significant decline. I find that sad and disturbing, something must be going on. But turns out overfishing has messed up the food chain so badly that it trickles down to coral reefs, etc. Sure carbon emissions play a part but it's fractional compared to fishing practices in my opinion. However, you have to so badly hate human produced pollution that you are willing to endure wars, genocide, bankrupt people who can't afford an electric car or put gas in their tank to meet their expectation. Anything lower than that you are not just stupid but the absolute enemy.
I think it’s discussed so much because it’s affects kids, which ultimately affects society, and also is about determination of REALITY. Like how do we determine what is real?
Historically, I’ve thought the “slippery slope” was a weak approach to debate, but it’s crazy how quickly people prime the hill with grease. The fringes are already leaning in: “transracial” and “non-offending pedophiles” coming to mind.
Yup people dont believe that idea until it really starts unfolding in front of them. You give someone an inch they will go a mile. It's not just this discussion on gender. Personal choice, health rights, gun ownership, there needs to be a static line and no grey area
There's been Ted talks on that very issue years ago. The very same argument used by the LGBTQ community: Why should my love be a crime just because it's different. The hill isn't just greased, we're already sliding down.
Well I'm not using it as an argument, more of an illustration. My argument would be that not all love is equal nor valid, therefore should not be equally protected. For example, the love a parent exudes towards their child is not the same a boyfriend or girlfriend would give. Similarly, someone may love all dogs but the love for their own dog is different. Lastly, one could love to inflict pain on themselves or others, doesn't mean it should then be permissible.
Slippery slope is a logical fallacy in that just because one thing happens doesn't AUTOMATICALLY mean that the next thing will happen. However in real life and in political issues there are groups with agendas who are looking to push things in an extreme direction and it's part of their process to start small and gradually mission creep outwards. So, it's a logical fallacy, but it's also exactly what happens in real world social situations.
I do not agree, think about: think about racism, poverty, Corruption of powerful governments, crimes... the list can go on and on and blaming it all on something a little like "RUclips" is major deflection of the actual cause and root of such problems into other things that, yes, might affect it and to a certain extent too but also vice-versa so a equilibrium like thing should happen right? well no because the main source of these problems is not that.

Tik tok and other actual social media has been psychologically shown to alter kids personalities to the point where kids actually develop habits and even involuntary behavior including tics, from overexposure to short form content on social media. The societal pressure from Twitter, and other SM platforms can absolutely change a child’s opinions and values in a way that’s consistent with the overarching social narrative. It’s really hard for parents to overcome that kind of influence.
It's social media but computers in general. Video games for instance when not moderated can let you escape the world and let's you not pursue relationships if you so choose. The common man can not moderate their technology use. Me included and i feel better than most

I could totally understand the situation. He asked me if I wanted to come over. No hello, or proper introduction, or small talk at all. I was 26 at the time. Even though we weren't in the elevator, it was more than enough to get scared and, to be honest, creeped out. I smiled and politely declined. Americans have really lost their minds. In the 30 years I’ve lived in the US I’ve witnessed this fascinating phenomenon of people getting so entrenched in their beliefs that they completely lose touch with reality. It’s quite entertaining but in a very disturbing way.
Its not fascinating, its not entertaining, its horrifying. Its intellectual barbarism. Those cops down in Atlanta got charged with murder by the far left DA for doing their job exactly as they'd been trained. Other far left DAs have dismissed charges on violent criminals on purely partisan political grounds. The FBIs being blatantly used as political police for the democrat party. Decent, clear thinking people should be horrified by all this and quietly planning things to do about it.
Alan Watts used to talk of people that think to much losing touch with reality because if all you ever do I'd think then all you have to think about is thoughts. This was the point of meditation in his view, a way to get back in touch with what's actually happening around you.
I believe it is people not dealing with their inner selves/mental illness/disorder, wanting to fit into a "special" group, surrounded by people who tell them "you're brave, special and important" (cult like love bombing), and of course the need to be the epitome of correct (including the virtue signaling). Narcissists is what becomes the product, a person disillusioned by their own lies, while forcing everyone around them to see their reality and live in it.
If that's your theory how then do you explain or view those who basically do the opposite? Meaning those who struggle internally therefore not getting special attention at all, rather the polar opposite, they may be closeted about their gender identity, avoid social situations, etc. Just as many people exist in that internal suffering state as exist in this Gen Z unique snowflake thing you're calling narcissism.
Guarantee it's a small segment of ppl who are authentically devoted to this, even a smaller segment who're approaching it with good intentions and a good heart, but they're trying like hell to impose it on billions of others who just want to be left alone.
I used to think the same but it’s starting to catch even with people who aren’t involved in any way. I’ve had family members blindly support these radical ideas even though they would not support it for their own family.
I think you’re right about there being a small amount of people but the end goal is to influence the youth. It also begs the question as to how such a small group keeps getting all this attention in the media (not just social media)……
I felt that way ten years ago when I first went to college. They're indoctrinated into this stuff in college, work and social media. I considered these people annoying and crazy but chalked it off to it's a tiny portion of society and that most of them would grow out of it. Now it's plastered everywhere and I meet more and more people that are obsessed with this. They've replaced normal religion with this intersectionality/marxist bullshit and this is coming from an atheist... it's pretty much a cult at this point. These people are already trying to reach younger ages and start forcing their beliefs on grade schoolers ffs
I am a retired biologist and I can not understand how anyone can not realize there are two genders you are born one or the other and it can not be changed.

It's similar to how in prison, prisoners make rules for themselves that are far harsher than those in outside society.

Sex is chromosomal. Plain and simple.
Yeah but the trans issue is a gender issue not a sex issue. They way I understand it is that sex is determined by biological factors while gender is more of the role that the associated sex typically has in the species. So you can be male but act like a woman and that would qualify you as a woman but not a female.

A guy follows her out of a bar onto an elevator to get her alone, making her feel very uncomfortable very late in the evening after she'd been drinking. She makes a video stating as much which is impossible to fathom as a bid deal and then we went through years of harassment and hate aimed at her., with to this day, idiots like this fool in the video blaming her for an incident which no one would remember had a bunch of trash atheist trolls not blown it up and harassed her for years. What does it mean to feel like a boy? You enjoy doing “masculine” things? Okay, that doesn’t make you a male. That makes you a tomboy, which we always had as a society.

Trans people can identify however they want, but there are biological differences between the sexes idk how that's so problematic.
@@sparkfx5874 The Question is often, what is a Biological Male and what is a Biological Female. Because a Trans Women are Women and not because they want it, same for Trans Man. Most Trans people Transition with HRT(Hormon Replacement Therapy), after a while they have the same Hormonal Household than Cis People. And Hormones change a lot and change our bodies to our Gender we persive ourself with.
I have a friend who is a Cis Male, but dosen´t produce enough Testosterone by himself. Which caused him to feel out of touch and couldn´t see himself like a real Man, even though he is Cis. After getting Regular Testosterone Injections he could finally feel more aligned with himself and his Body, what also Trans people feel after a while.
And what I find mostly funny about the whole Trans women can not compete in Womens sport because of Biological Adventages, is that it implies they have to compete with man in Sport and Trans Man have to Compete with With Cis Womens. So you have Trans Mans that have the Hormonal advantages of a Cis Man, that have to Compete with Cis Women.

A guy once told me that gender is the sum of all your interests and attitudes, your own unique amalgamation of what makes you who you are.
No dude, that's your personality
💀
@Ra Shaan I completely agree. Glad to have such an educated conversation

A few years ago I started a new job and got called into HR after a few months for having an argument with a lady at work, and I was told my transphobic attitude needed to change. Turns out, she was actually a man. I had no idea, she looked like the real McCoy. That didn't stop them from giving me a written warning though. I didn't even hand in my notice, I just never went back. I can't play by these new rules, they're ridiculous and inhuman, bizarre and cruel.
Can you see chromosomes? Why is self-presentation so vastly different according to gender norms if we just see the impossible to see underlying biology? Have you tried expressing your ideas in a way that isn't completely contradictory and inane? You might do better in all of your courses.
If you see a transitioned transwoman on the street and she looks like every other woman, you would see a woman though, which means you do see gender. You gender people all the time without realizing it, if you see someone who doesn't look completely like a man or a woman, you take a moment to let your brain decide which gender they appear to express themselves as. You don't go digging around their genitals. It's dishonest to say that people don't see gender, you certainly notice when people don't fit into the "norms" of their gender. If you only saw sex, you wouldn't notice gender norms and expressions.
I'll put forth this idea on how that changed:
I think it was lost when a new generation of kids came about and into the world where people were talking about trans issues on RUclips.
I think that they heard the terms "sex" and "gender" being used and they didn't make any difference between the definition of the two as we used to do.
I think it's literally because they were young.
Three things I really wish the "trans community" (if there even is one) pushed harder on are:
1) These things are not reversible! (activists started lying and saying that transition was "fully reversible")
2) We should've pushed hard against when the distinction between sex and gender started happening.

I don't think it's fair to say that people of my generation don't know what the real world is like, I'd actually argue that we know a lot more about the real world than any generation before us, mostly due to the internet being around when we grew up and the debt crisis's that we are burdened with atm, However, I'd just say that I 'personally' think a lot of these problems might have come from the rampant "helicopter parenting" that we were exposed to, I'd say the way you teach people when their very young can severely effect them when they become adults and THE LACK to certain stimuli has probably done a lot of this.

On the nose! It's why people get angry and "offended" if you actually try to help and advise them over the internet. Despite complaining about how terrible life is, they don't actually want help, since then they'll no longer be able to complain about it for attention. Freaking upside down world we live in.
Agreed, social media feeds the narcissists and the sheer number of them gives me slight depression.

They kicked out everyone with principles. There’s very few people like Brett Weinstein or Gad Saad in a that world.
Calling something a slippery slope fallacy is just an easy way to avoid legitimate arguments.
Obviously there’s a million reasons but I believe almost every major problem with society today can be traced back to social media
Agree, and children having tablets/smartphones. Seeing things they would never see in the real world.

I could totally understand the situation. I had a similar experience, I was abroad, staying in an apartment(airbnb), and as I was waiting for the elevator, this guy who looked around mid-40ish to early 50 started a conversation saying that he is separated from his wife and moved to this apartment. He asked me if I wanted to come over. No hello, or proper introduction, or small talk at all. I was 26 at the time. Even though we weren't in the elevator, it was more than enough to get scared and, to be honest, creeped out. I smiled and politely declined. The elevator came and he asked me why I wasn't getting on, and I acted like I got a phone call and told him I was gonna take the next one. The guy in the video says the man didn't do anything and was polite, but I don't think he fully understand how scary the situation could turn out. To be pursued in small tight, isolated place? What's missing in the conversation is that so called activism in its extremist canceling form is simply trauma dumping, people who have real unhealed trauma (often. Sexual Trauma) who lash out as a trauma response. As a sexuality and relationship coach , I have seen it in my community, with my clients and in myself. As one heals, their relationship to the political conversation and to other people becomes much more centered.
Yes this makes so much sense, I think much of it is projecting their own trauma onto something else and latching on for dear life.
I think I might agree with this...maybe. Assuming I'm reading where you're coming from correctly. Guys who get involved wt far left extremism always seem to hate their fathers. Thats where it starts. Or they get groomed and diddled. Or their already brainwashed family indoctrinates them.
Then they go off to far left college(which is practically all a them) and join up with the indoctrination process. These schools also corrupt nice normal kids from like the midwest. Its like we're living under the tyranny of religious fanatics.
Well said, the biggest assumption that is made, is that oppressed, traumatised people are angels. No they are not. They are filled with unconscious rage, think in traumatic, distorted, split ways. They are not conscious of their rage, “people are doing things to them”. They should be treated with compassion whilst they work on healing and encouraged to focus on self care. That’s it.
@@sarahdlp524 that’s also why women should have safe spaces because as you said they’re trying to heal from a trauma why provoke their fear & rage by putting a biological male identifying as a woman into their therapy space?
Surely provoking fear & rage will prevent them reaching their healing phase?
Or they’re delusional, or worse, just want to appear virtuous while doing their best to cause harm to anyone who might have different views or not be on “their side”. Forcing your ideals on to someone and justifying it as inclusive is a ridiculous contradiction, especially when most can’t articulate their arguments beyond “I feel” or “my truth”. Just because someone screams about how oppressed they are doesn’t mean they have had it any worse than the people they are lambasting. It also shouldn’t earn them a pass.
It reminds me of an old saying, “the more they preached of their honour, the faster we counted the spoons”.

"Again, I tell you...."-- Jesus/God(The Bible)
Ultimately, without the Bible(or God's power or revelation), philosophy and science will never be enough or be able to know what a Man or a Woman(or any other subject for that matter) is. And the process of defining terms and AGREEING or DISAGREEING to them seems to be an ad-infinitum or never-ending process LITERALLY. Agreement appears to also be a huge or necessary part of this whole debate that cannot be taken for granted. Jesus said: "If Two of You on Earth AGREE about ANYTHING...".-- Matthew 18:19.
Agreement seems to also be a necessary quality or aspect of truth(and in the reality of God himself or the trinitarian community "Itself") and without it, it appears to be just impossible for truth to be established in any way.
What Jesus said about AGREEMENT can also be used for twisted or evil purposes. And surely it has been used that way, and probably still is(the gay community being just one example. And the struggle that everybody has with sin in their lives being another).
