What about knox protection? is it tripped? Can you still use secure folder, private mode, find phone and have knox kernel and system protection? 2 years ago I read that those protective features can be lost when installing any unofficial OS on Galaxy S7.
i love LineageOS i have a pop c3 i bought for $30nzd new back in 2013 and was able to update it to android 7.1 and it runs faster too also camera takes better photos

i install lineage os 17.1 build 21 in my s7 edge G935F. i have problem with camera, usually while using video call (whatsapp), suddenly after 10-15 minutes camera goes to black/green and then error. can u help me? thanks
Why u not install LOS 18.1 from Ivan? Is also stable. btw opengapps are not recommended from him, nikgapps or bitgapps are. Geekbench Results with stock Android 8: Single Core: 382 Multi Core: 1312 So there is no difference between stock and Custom ROM. (Means the Custom ROM is made very well)

Great review, one question can you lock the boot loader ?
If you want to relock the bootloader you will need to first revert to a fully stock Samsung FW. It should be possible to relock if afterwards.

Official Lineage 17.1 is available for the S5 and it´s run very good for an 7 Year old Phone
