- Step by step tutorial on how to root s7 edge or s7 flat, Exynos models using TWRP Recovery and Magisk.
THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR FILES ON INTERNAL STORAGE!!
backup if you don't want to lose them.
First we will download all necessary files,
then flash TWRP using Odin and boot into TWRP Recovery,
wipe out internal memory
flash no-verity and Magisk
lastly we will boot up system and check if flash was successful

Thought you copy the magisk manager 8 to the phone internal storage but it was not in the selection from the video. The magisk is not working for me. Please advice
hey i was trying to root my Samsung galaxy s7 edge SM-G935F however when i use Odin in download mode and my phone reboots, it does not reboot into T.W.R.P and restarted like normal, however its not rooted as when i use the root checker app it displays as not rooted also a pop up message came up saying "unauthorised actions have been detected restart your device to undo any authorised changes" and even if i restart it the message keeps coming back. what can i do? please help

I did all these steps, except installing Magisk, so I have TWRP and Lineage now, but the phone is not rooted and certain apps refuse to work, can I install Magisk now or do I need to restart from zero ?

worked like charm but I think you made a misstake after the auto reboot steap, it was switched around. if u untapped them you needed to manualy reboot
i have a sm-g935P its not on the list of phones ? whats the next step or can i just use any of them.

*Warning:* Do NOT rely on TWRP to backup your existing Data partition. You must backup your Data partition using other tools BEFORE flashing TWRP. As soon as the Teamwin logo first appeared on screen, my Data partition became unusable, I got stuck into bootloop when attempting to boot back into Android, and I could not see internal storage when plugged to my PC. Therefore, I was forced to wipe without a backup.

This is your mistake, you could install stock ROM with Home CSC.
@@tromick point is, the video only tells us to backup *after* flashing TWRP, when clearly TWRP should absolutely not be relied upon at all for any backups.

How good is the backup btw? Does it keep all my apps and preferences? web browser tabs? Will it look exactly like how I left it with all the apps in the same place and folders?

cant install no verity, i have an s7 edge with lineage 19.1. booted in to twrp, wipe data, trying to install no verity and it says this: updater process ended with ERROR: 1 Error installing zip file `/sdcard/no-verity-opt-ecrypt-6.1.zip. tried another (older) version of no verity but wont work. any tips?

How can I uninstall TWRP? I have a problem, when i trying t open TWRP, error: no command. I can't download and open TWRP.
you have to sadly check theese boxes about auto reboot otherwise it is not going to work (I done it today and I re flashed it again but with the boxes ticked and it worked) :)

t mobile cant be rooted/unlocked/flashed on, only the exynos chip version from Europe and maybe the ones off Asia, Africa and etc can, but not the US model

I'm on exynos and followed steps exactly, after final reboot I don't have magisk manager installed, and after root check it says it is not rooted, what could be the problem?
If it did not give you any error while flashing noverity and magisk manager, you probably missed one of them. Follow the steps again but this time make sure you choose both files and look out for any errors while flashing them.

Hi, try booting into twrp manually by pressing home, volume up and power buttons. if it does not work that means either you have locked bootloader, or flashing twrp was not successful.
