How to Downgrade Galaxy S7 & S7 edge to Android 6.0.1 Stock

- In this video, we're going to find out on how to downgrade the Galaxy S7 & S7 edge back to it's original firmware! Finally, I found a trick that able to made this happen.
If this work with other Samsung phones like the S6,S8,S9 or the Note series, please let everyone know in the comment section!

Thank you sir, I followed every process, but after opening the TWRP and after formatting the phone and installing the custom .img file I cooked, after I tap on reboot my phone was stuck in a boot loop, just turning off and on while showing ''set warranty bit: kernel'' in yellow text at the top left corner, please what should I do and what did I do wrong please answer
edit: The model and country location is the same as my device, but the bit/SW Rev value and PDA version (that is G9300ZCU2APL2) is not the same as my phone because the one that's the same as my phone is the latest 8.0 Firmware
for some reason after flashing it on s7 edge when opening camera it says camera failed. anything else works fine (except vibration obv) so whats the issue?
What a great video, when you flash the custom rom does it remove twrp as well? Need to send it back to Samsung. Anything else I need to do? The other thing is it’s showing custom firmware, can I change it to official? Is it possible? Thank You
Nah, the thing is because since you installed twrp. The secret knox chip will kick in and wont be able to turn back off. So even restoring to stock, it will stay custom when booting to download mode

How However you forgot to mention that on Galaxy S6 edge+ you Will need a custom bootloader.

Ah yes I heard that some phones required a custom bootloader, but since I dont have it I can't show it

After Odin is done with twrp and i hold down the buttons it wont start(stays on the samsung logo) Phone is Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 aka j730F
Edit: It worked but the secure folder isn't working and I can't sign in into my samsung account. If you have fix for that please reply to my comment. Thanks!
Edit 2: The phone worked perfectly for couple of hours. Restarted itself and it bootloops and says "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock". What do I do now?

you got to install the latest Android 6 version available otherwise it's not going to work. I tried to install the first ever Android 6 version and the same thing happened to me as well

I found one custom rom 6.0.1 in xda which actually booted.
Does your phone vibration works?
My vibration does not work in the rom but it works when I am rebooting or in recovery.

So this is the issue, I dont know why it does not work (but I know it’s not broken since rebooting the phone still vibrates and vibrates while offline charging). Seems intresting too why it does not work since we’ve dont customize something hardware related on the ROM
@@WilliamsTech My bootloader version is 2 and we are running Android 6.0.1 is bootloader version 1. Probably the mismatch in bootloader version causing compatibility issues.
There was a battery drain on cell standby which I managed to fix today.
I cannot explain you how happy I am with this honestly.
This was my first expensive android phone and this software is nostalgia.
I tried for last 5 years but couldn't do it.

i have g930p with u11 the only way to get twrp is to flash combination drive but actually i installed and follow steps in this video and flash zip rom with twrp after completing the phone can't boot to system

Yes, just download the indian firmware for your exact model. If theres none for your country, any country is fine just make sure it's the same model.number as your phone

Once knox has been tripped, theres no way to fix it

Update : just found the solution.
If you want to downgrade to 5.1.1. You Will need to install a custom bootloader, it worked on mine, it should on yours.

What screensaver? The samsung logo? Did you install the same firmware model number as your phone?

yes, it will do it automaticlly anyway once you export the project to a flashable zip
