Upon updating to 12 / 4.0/.1 My samsung S21's lower motherboard stopped connecting to my charger component (lower mic / sim). Hoping this fixes the issue otherwise its a $900 charge and Samsung wont cover it because I broke my screen a few weeks later cause I was waiting for an update to fix it.
Mate i just updated my Note 20 Ultra to Android 12 with the latest available security patch from december and it is still(11th january) buggy af. You can have the best hardware on the market but it zero worth when you have a unrealiable software behind it. As you mentiod over 1000$ for a device that feels worse than a fkng handset.
@@OfficialXtraload This android 12 is full of bugs. Roll back to android 11 one ui 3.1 was the best prescription ever, Personally going to hold back until i start seeing pos feedback. Android 12 is half baked constant bugs like apple rushing out updates with new features without really ironing out existing bugs.

yes my ultra 21 has the same issue with the 120 hertz refresh rate, its dipping back and forth for me too,,very annoying ..will probably use your method

Yea they messed it up scrolling is is now so stuttered even at 120hz since downgrading everything is back to normal

I was using the official Android 12 update it was not stable it was riddled with bugs but all is good now since downgrading

I bought my Samsung S21 Ultra 2 days ago and I want to downgrade it because mine came from the factory with Android 12 installed, the problem is that the OpenGL driver for Android 12 is damaged and I just can't play on emulators with the option of OpenGL, there is the option to play by Vulkan but it is slower and speed in an emulator is the most important, that's my reason for downgrading from Android 12 to 11.
Can you downgrade to 11 if your phone came from the factory with Android 12?

It worked! I needed to downgrade because with the last update #Hex themes stop working.
Clean instalation and when you boot the phone the first time the phone could tell you there is a problem with the system so it will recomend a factory reset, just do that and it'll be fine.
To set the phone in download mode, turn off the device and press both volume buttons (+ & -), then plug the phone to the computer.
Some claim the downgrade isn't possible with the Snapdragon s21 variant
I tried to reboot to Boot-loader exactly how you did it, but it keeps going back to boot-up to Android. I am on official Android 12/ US carrier unlocked S21 Ultra. So what i did is, press volume up and volume down on reboot, then it gave me the blue warning sign, then i pressed the up volume button, and BAM.. it's in boot-loader mode.

Thanks, this worked really well! Unfortunately the version where I tried to save my old data did not work and I had to factory reset anyway... but it worked after! So I recommend just biting the bullet and do the full wipe version like he did in the video. Now I'm back to playing GearVR!

Tmobil and the s21 are averaging 2+ updates per month. Ridiculous. Some of these updates contain bloatware. A security update installing unwanted apps on your device is a bunch of crap. I don't know if it's tmobil or Samsung doing this so I'm forced to not trust either. I paid $1000+ for a device and service I have no confidence in. How many updates are necessary in 1 year? 24? 36? Shady stuff. The consumer is getting fleeced.
I have not recieved a 12 upgrade notification(have S21 Ultra) I am in the US. Has it been released here?

Well i was very unhappy with the whole android 12 update esp the battery life was really poor, so this guide has been very helpful but even more helpful was the link to the firmware which saved me a ton of time. Thank you

Some say it eont work on the sanpdragon because it has a locked bootloader however someone wulith the snapdragon version commented in the comments that it worked for them so to be honest bro im not sure if it will work for u maybe u just have to grow a pair and try

I got a FAIL message after I started flashing "check fail bootloader device". This was on Galaxy S21 Android 14 to 12 downgrade.

I'm with T mobile after the 4.0 update on my S21 Ultra, 2160p and even 1440p resolution won't load at all at all on youtube with mobile data but works fine via wifi smh. It was working flawlessly on Android 11 idk wtf they did with this update but it screwed a lot of shit up. I've tried every single thing from wipe cache partition to forced restart nothing will fix it. I've also noticed at the top it now says 5GUC instead of just 5g. Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues. I've heard the rollback solution doesn't work with US snapdragon varients It sucks 😔

If anyone else had trouble where trying to enter download mode, just restarts your phone. Try unplugging your phone from your computer, and turning off your phone by holding all 3 buttons, volume up, volume down, and power button
NEW FASTBOOT ENTERING
while pressing volume up+ down for 10 seconds together, connect the phone to your computer and itll automatically enter odin mode. Google had asked samsung to add fastboot along with odin after the July patch.
I didn't have any problems with data until uploaded my S21 Dual sim and the connection is really poor, inestable, really anoying. So I dicided to downgrade until Android 12 is more stable.
@@godsfart I fixed it. You just have to downgrade your phone to Android 11, that's it.

No u don't need to erase all data u can choose home CSC to keep all apps and data however I still recommend backup all important files pics vids just to be safe

I was on Android 12 Feb 1 security and was able to downgrade to 11 on my S20+ unlocked.
Sounds like March 1 update might block alot of things (like token for unlocking bootloader for US devices.)
Had just gotten it repaired after several months without it (badly damaged) and got the 12 update and was SERIOUSLY PISSED!

Same process just download the latest android 11 for S20fe for your country and model number then follow this video to do the downgrade
it uses the same sw rev. it will definitely work. not so with the SW REV. different. You can check the firmware more fully at samfw. This is what I'm facing right now, how to downgrade SW REV. ?

I had a bad experience with Android 12 it wrecked my phone especially the battery life and the 120hz refresh rate also the status bar shortcut toggles some where unresponsive at times ,downgrading back to Android 11 was the best thing I did my phone is now working flawlessly again 👍 how's ya battery does it drain fast?

And this seems to be signal related but since I've updated trying to send a picture message even with 5g it just loads and loads takes forever to send. I use Swipe instead of the bottom keys and some apps I can't even back out of I have to Swipe up and close, just seem wanky

When I press reboot to bootloader it comes up with intering safe mode and doesn't come up in odin
I can't downgrade can you help me I downgraded from official android 12 to android 11. Then it wouldn't reboot and said android data is damaged please clear all data or try again. I didn't back it up but I reverted back to 12 using odin again as it was fine then. Why can't i downgrade?!
Try downgrade again but after doing so boot into stock recovery & wipe the data/cache then reboot

I had network issues when I'm using 2 sim cards. When I switched to only one sim, there is no issue with network.

@AndroidDoctor does this work if you backed up your phone with Android 12 UI 4.0 and if you have the official version (not the beta)? I'm also debating on whether or not I want to stay. The Pop Up View is really buggy for my app and you can't play Vids in the background if you close out the Pop Up View unlike before. I want to hope they'll fix it but I'm not sure.

You might want to say at the start of the video if you have done the upgrade more than a month ago, it won't work. It didn't work for as I had updated more than a month ago and I couldn't get my phone out of boot mode. Then I had to do a factory reset as that was the only option
Im sure i mentioned that if u have done security updates since upgrading to android 12 it wont work because your bootloader will probably have been updated preventing the downgrade
And now one ui 4 is stable with good battery life, handy video though

I have successfully downgraded to Android 11(I have used adb to enter into download/Odin mode), But the issue still persists. It restarts so many times in a day.
Wipe cache partition - done
factory data reset - done
Now rolled back to Android 11. Is there anything I can do to prevent tis continuous restart.

When I select the reboot to bootloader, the phone is not going to the download mode. It just restarts, even though it is connected to the pc with a USB cable? Any idea how to get it to that download mode

This process It can be used for any model number however you need to dowload the correct firmare for your A50 u cant use galaxy s21 ultra firmare on your A50

I can't get past putting in the model number on sammobile, it doesn't come up with a list like in your video,and the check updates button won't actually let me click on it.
Try on a diffrent browser or use your phone then transfer the downloaded file to desk top after download complete
