Hi Guys,
Today I am going to talk about the legendary Samsung Galaxy S7 Mobile which was a game changer when it was released back in 2016.
Still it can beat up some beefy mobiles in specs & camera but the place where it lags is its Software as its still on Android oreo and might not get any further updates.
But there are so many devs who still love and adore the device and keep on making mods/roms for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge & if we root Galaxy S7 S7 edge we can make the most usage of this. So i will be telling how to install TWRP and Root the Galaxy S7 through Magisk And ROOT it.

hey where did you get magisk from as i cannot find _an updated_ zip of magisk, i just feel more comfortable using it from the actual source of magisk not the links in desc

bro please help me I did all ur steps but when i did copy the 2 files on my phone and wanted to make the last step which it is install zip magisk and no verity they are telling me that it is ended with 1 error, error installing zip file sdcard/magisk-v19.0.zip

Hi, I follwed your video and everything worked fine untill I was tying to instal magisk in twrp I got error code 1, and bootloader is on, any tips?
While installing no verity opt decrypt in twrp it came with "Updater process ended with ERROR: 1" How do I fix it?

It works for exynos devices only. For s7 edge you need s7 edge twrp, else all same 👌

For me the type of the twrp file is different, for you there is WinRAR, for me there is Tar. Do I still have to convert the file when I have downloaded it?

You have to make sure you have oem unlock enabled in developer options

Can this be done with the g935a. att model. i cant find the TWRP for it.
I click on the links and it asks me to subscribe. Who knows what I am downloading. maybe you should make a short video first explianing the process for downloading the needed files before going through the installation. Obviously this is all new to me. I am not a developer.
It just worked for me (11/13/19). When he says it 'it could take a while' after applying everything, it took my phone about 10 minutes so don't be alarmed!

Hope you would have dlashes the correct files to you phones based on the model you have. Flashing incompatible files you mobiles may cause boot loops

You must have formatted/wiped out the data. Befire doing any step related to rooting always keep backup

hi after Odin installs twrp and the phone restarts, i press home+vol up+power but the phone just boots up like normal doesnt go into TWRP!

I followed your steps, and it was going fine up until 4:58 and I needed to plug my phone into my PC and for it to appear on Odin. Because it didn't show up on Odin? Any ideaS?

Good point! It's not clear enough. (Some guides about Magisk claim that the internal data is not wiped.)

Try flashing twrp through odin again. Make sure you use the correct twrp for your phone

Its ok bro.. You first have to flash from odin.. Once it completes and your mobile restarts/samsung logo appears, you press these buttons to boot in twrp recovery

So I got everything but what is happening now is that on Odin when I flash the twrp for s7 edge, at the point that I am supposed to press the down volume, home, and power buttons the phone is removed from Odin. And I only get a com4 not com6. Any help would be awesome cause I have no idea why it won’t open the TWRP after pressing 3 buttons.

So once I hit start ... the screen goes black ... I hit down volume, the home button, then power. I get a pass on Odin but the phone gets removed from Odin. It seems as if the USB cord become loose from the phone.
Make sure connection is tight.. To boot in twrp, its volume up button

Hope you would've used s7 edge twrp file, not the s7 one from description. And flashed correctly using odin.. Unauthorized actions warning can be still ignored

Seems you have flashed incorrect version. What is the device full model name. Is it exynos or snapdragon?

Won't work or atleast very very less chances . Recovery of data will happen only if that data sector is not overwritten, which won't be the case mostly

Connect to pc and take backup of the data which is available. Whatever is deleted is deleted

You have to be super quick, as saon as the odin flashing is done and mobile restarts, you habe to press the volume up, power n home button together to boot into twrp mode

It's needed to be copied in phone memory itself. Make sure oem unlock is enabled. Retry everything vareful2, should work 👌
@@AbsolutelyTechie I shut it down and restarted it, somehow it is now rooted. Strange, but anyway, it worked so THANK YOU! But Google apps (Chrome, ...) are still installed and no matter what, it remains installed, only disabled, not fully uninstalled.

Twrp is successfully installed? Restart the device again in twrp and try flashing again the magisk zip
