These elevators run really amazing!!! I love Otis GEN2! They run pretty fast for high rise building! Are these still here?
GEN2 controlers have some of the best sounding relays in modern times imo

Nice apartment building Jared. My apartment building had Otis elevators just like that. But there were only 3 elevators in my apartment in DC. We didn’t have key fobs when I first moved in my apartment building in DC. But they did put them in 2 years later to keep the residents safe! You can go to any floor as long as a resident has a key fob! But very nice apartment building. I wanna visit Pittsburgh someday
These elevators are very nice! Also Andrew is right, that relay action from the GEN2 sounds really really cool.

The Otis GEN 2 Elevator 2 sound's like the one at where I'm living at with the relays.
My friend lives in a apartment with only Thyssenkrupp elevators.
These are amazingly and wonderfully quiet!!
I wonder if Otis just decides whether they want to put voices on these, or if that’s the contractor or buildings decision.
I would be very curious to know this as well. Personally, I feel that all elevators should talk, and it is a shame that there are still many new installs that do not.
Just like the ACME garage in Philadelphia.

By the age and how it sounds and rides.

There was *G in the elevator.
So on *G, it is our buildings main lobby and front desk and the pass way to the other tower. All apartments start on level 1.
