That thing has at least four differently timed unblockable attacks, and one of them instantly kills you. That fight wouldn't be so hard if the model would telegraph more than just flashing red before any of them.
It spammed the heavy attacks way too much. I platinum Jedi Fallen Order the day before Survivor came out. I never had a problem with Oggdo Boggdo in fallen order but in Survivor, it's just heavy attack after heavy after heavy after heavy and I just couldn't handle it. I definitely killed it still but it felt so unfair cause some of the heavy attacks were lunging too much at you with the only option of just jumping over it.
And the hit box on the jump attack is just massive. You can’t even cut the tongue out, and doesn’t matter if you dodge the tongue, landing on the tongue afterward automatically start the getting swallowed animation. It’s just complete bs at that point
They over used red attacks in this game, I’m a Jedi, the only unblock able attacks should be coming from other Jedi. Something can be challenging without enemies spamming unblock able attacks. The jedi games aren’t bad but they receive way more praise then they deserve.

Same, story mode on both for me, not worth losing my mental health over a game, especially getting the poncho afterward that I never use. This game was supposed to help me fight the dark side, not joining it
For people having trouble with Oggdo, What I did was force pulled the two big guys from the top to get aggro then stepped on the trap door when they were both on it and dashed out of the way. Let them do 90% of the work then finish it off. May take a few tries.
@@koenigkorczak i beat the game to 100% on JGM difficulty. only had trouble with 5 fights, 2x rancor, 2x frogs, rayvis, bode, final dagan fight. it was pretty easy game tbh. not even close to dark souls series difficulty. each of those fights listed took me 1hr or more. i can count on my hands how many times i died outside of those 5 fights.
I used force pull and pulled the 2 big raiders on the ledge down onto the platform then lured them into the pit. I let the frog and them fight until they died and the health bar was low.
@Metalhead sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant once they are in the pit using confusion on them didn't do lots of damage on the boss or last a long period of time. I tried very early on

I didn’t die once to the end game boss. Spawn of Oggdo probably killed me 60 some odd times. This boss sucks ass for the simple fact that respawn didn’t give it a single weakness. There’s no amount of parrying that will stun it. No cutting off the tongue like in fallen order. Just a giant frog that kills in 1 or 2 hits and can’t be stunned

Ok so i kind of exploited the game to beat it. If you notice on the rock ledge overlooking the pit there are 2 Big guys holding giant electric hammers. What you need to do is force pull both of them off the ledge then lure them to the trap doors. Time your jump so when the doors open, you jump away just in time for them to fall in. Both of the npcs will fight the boss and leave it with less than half health by the time they both die. You then do an aerial attack on the frog and be extra careful and you should kill it relatively easy.
Between pulling hammer guys into the hole to do my fighting for me, using the blaster from the roof, and recharging the blaster with hitting other enemies, I killed this guy without being hit once.
