He doesn’t give a flying crap for anyone at all except himself. Hitting people and killing them is not skin off his nose. He has ( to me ) a short fuse of a temper and now I can understand why he did what he did. He got mad and said to heck with everyone and ran over people.
I was learning to drive the first time behind a wheel of a car and hit a dog and killed it. Thank god my dad was there. We took the dog to the owners with me crying. Now 56 years later I am still driving and have not hit a person dog cat birds and plan to not to, this murderer doesn’t care, if he did he would keep his mouth shut get a lawyer and take his punishment.

Ikr. But that's why it's very important to be impartial, so you don't get affected by stuff like this and possibly judge wrongly, because YOU NEVER KNOW. I personally wouldn't have the patience.
On the other hand, his behaviour can be seen as implicative to his whole attitude regarding the actual crime and unwillingness to take responsibility for his own actions - in how he acts entitled and uncaring even when he's done wrong, regardless if he meant to or not.
I personally cannot imagine if I'd ever barreled through the streets, injuring and KILLING people, but not have my head down in shame the whole time throughout the trial. There's nothing to even argue. It's a fact that he did so. And he just needs to own up to it.
People seem to think that drugs and alcohol exempt them from consequences. That makes NO sense. They KNOW what they're consuming. They're not being forced to, either. They KNOW the effects alcohol and drugs have on a person. But still they take it, then act like they can never be held accountable as long as they weren't sober when they did all kinds of terrible, crazy and disgusting acts.
For someone to have an attitude like his, after doing something that he did, shows just how little he's actually thinking of the families and more about himself. You see how he gets emotional when he talks about his own personal struggles, but not much emotion is shown even when he does acknowledge the fact that people died by his actions.
I'd give him the benefit of the doubt since I can't read his mind, and say that maybe he WAS thinking of and crying for the families. But the rest of his actions throughout the trial don't seem to back that up.
Yes, even a person who did something as horrendous as what he did (accidental or not) can have a hard time from the people around him for doing such a thing. But that's on HIM, and no one else. That's what you call CONSEQUENCES. Whether it's direct punishment for your actions by the law, or just general opinion of you by society. That's how humans WORK.
You SHOULD feel terrible after doing something like that. You don't have to ASK to feel that way. It's part of your punishment because, by the way, there IS something called right and wrong in this world, and you NEED to feel horrible when you do something wrong. Whether you accept it or not. It's the law of the universe.

      @-Kuroki. Год назад +4

@@deedeearias9906 I'm no expert, so I can't say for sure. But in my opinion, narcissists seem to be delusional in their own way, in that they have a sense of entitlement and everyone has to go along with that - and if they don't, then they're the enemy.
It's easy to call someone a narcissist, but again, I can't say for sure because I'm not an expert. Acting entitled doesn't automatically mean you're a narcissist; it's a whole way of thinking and acting, and I don't know if he ticks all the boxes. I'd need to learn more about the subject, as well as know more about him - the latter of which I don't care to do lol.
Either way I would say he's delusional to some point, because he really seems to believe that the court is doing him wrong and treating him unfairly, calling everyone disrespectful while not seeing that he himself is absolutely disrespectful and lacking in manners. He just keeps looking for faults in others ('oh, she laughed there, they did this, they did that'), while the courtroom has been letting him off for much worse (like, seriously. You're not one to talk, stupid).
The judge only addresses his behaviour when they LITERALLY need to continue with the trial and she politely tells him to shut up. And HE addresses everyone else's behaviour because he's a sad soul who just likes to put blame on others and get mad at everyone else for not acting the way HE wants all the time. Him pointing out everyone's behaviours doesn't do anything for the trial but slow it down. But the judge mentions HIS behaviour because they need to continue, and this isn't a group therapy session where you talk about your feelings and what's upsetting you.
And to add to the whole 'delusional' theory: when the judge tells him how he can only reenter the courtroom if he acts appropriately - with respect and decorum - he seems to be GENUINELY confused (who knows) about HOW he's seen as disrespectful.
I'd also like to add that he has a lot (and I mean, a LOT) of pride. Entitlement and pride go together like peas in a pod. It has the ability to blind a person to reason, common sense, empathy and understanding. So when I see how he talks, before thinking of whether he's delusional or narcissistic (even though that could be the case) I first notice how big of a pride he has.
I don't know, just my two cents.

"A person who represents himself in court has a fool for a client". This fool thinks he can "act" as an attorney because he's been in court so much due to his criminal history. It don't work that way! Lawyers GO TO SCHOOL to learn their profession. This fool has no concern or respect for anyone, let's hope a lifetime of prison is in his near future.

The Judge is asking this defendant to behave with "dignity, decorum and respect!" Unfortunately, she is asking him to do that which is impossible for him to do. After all he had no respect for the lives of the people he killed, and he obviously (by his very own actions) has shown that he has not a clue about courtroom "decorum", nor does he have a clue about exhibiting any form of "dignity." In other words, he is a sick narcissist who cares about nothing but being in control.
Consequently, the very best that this Judge can do is to continue to do exactly what she has been doing since day one which is to patiently and justly trudge through this trial knowing that the day of reckoning for this defendant will come. My prayer is that day will come much sooner rather than later!
