I have these in my 320i, one of my favorite little details about the car. At night time it looks amazing.
As you said in the video, I think we can all agree that these easy kind of mods where you don't have to rewire parts and such are the best. Especially when they give great results like this.

I was thinking about it but now that I’ve been looking at my interior at night, I’ve started to like that the stock ambient light is subtle. I’m starting to like that you don’t see the lights, just their subtle reflection off the door handle.

First of all thanks for all the great videos and though I have the F36, it's the UK factor that results in variations more. Anyway, I do like these but here they are £45 and I am struggling to justify that price for spurious items. It's one thing BMW charging silly money for stuff.

had car for a year realised it has ambient lightning while watching this video...set on sport lights white and half brightness i have never noticed it.

Will this fit 2011 5 series?
I've heard that the downside of these strips that's made of harder plastic could start rattling or get loosen, so i got the silicone version which was cheaper but the downside of those was that you have to cut them yourself which wasn't that bad but fitting it was the problem because it left darker spots on some places but it was tedious to install.
Edit: I haven't owned the plastic ones, nor have i been in a F31 with them installed so it could be false advertisement. And if that's true i regret going with the silicone strips dou to the tedious installment and that it left dark faded spots on the ambient light which does not look that great.
No way man. They are so insanely tight in that space...I’d be shocked if someone gets a rattle
@@ThicWhips Maybe i'm wrong then, i was quoting the british guy who did the installment of the silicon strips and also... He was the seller of these strips on ebay, so now i got to think of it, he probably trash talked the plastic ones to get more buyers. Dang he probably tricked me haha. Either way love your, keep it up!
