i just bought an f30 yesterday but i know exactly what to do with it. i have been modifying cars for years.
i have planned to spend about $7000 in mods on this car.
this is what im gonna do/buy:
INTERIOR
i’m gonna remove all aluminum trim pieces and replace them with those expensive
m-performance trims. (alcantara + carbon fiber).
M-performance aluminum pedals.
Red start stop engine button.
Ram mount phone holder for car vent.
EXTERIOR
Dark window tint
Gloss black grille.
Shadow Line.
Gloss black roof wrap.
some nice decal/banner on windshield and rear window.
Carbon fiber spoiler.
Carbon fiber side skirts.
Carbon fiber front lip spoiler/splitter or whatever it’s called.
Carbon fiber mirror caps.
dpf-delete(i have a 335d f30 DIESEL)
sport exhaust system or maybe just straight pipe.
Performance air filter.
Stage 1 tune which should give me 381hp and 543 lb-ft (737nm).

Down pipes
Another easy mod is adding grill inserts, they go behind the grill and attach to the 2 black medal pieces in front of the radiator.
Yeah the v-brace covers is a easy and cool mod.
My BMW is snappers rocks blue color and find it hard to find a colour for the bars that suits it...any ideas?

I have a sport line but it has chrome grille don you think they were replaced at some point because there is no other chrome on the car
Another easy mod is changing the logo on the hood and trunk. Find them in a color you like, pry them out with your trim tool and pop a new one in.
Use fishing line to cut the adhesive instead much better

Also change the wheel cap logos. Huge difference, I have a white 328i and I am switching all of the logos to the black and white with a black 328i badge on the trunk

It’s a bootmod3 setting in the tune, extreme cooling, I ended up turning it off

Isn't the f30 simply a 2013 bmw 3 series xdrive but moded?
An f30 is just the bmw generation model number like e46, e90, e92, f10, f20, f30 ect. I forget the exact years the f30 was made. 2013-2018 maybe….
Has anybody else had strange things happen to your car while coding something else, i wanted to have the heater not come on everytime i start the car, but coding that also stopped my idrive working when i unlocked the car with the keyfob, it only comes on when i press the start button now, weird eh, tried backup but it didn't put it back to the way it was, its made me hesitant to code anymore (

Literally just (5 days ago) part-ex'd my 2010 e90 330d for a 2016 F30 330d. Have you had yours remapped? Feel like leaving it in ecoplus mode & switching to sport for the fun times is enough. Happy to hear opinions!
@@mattm969 no remap yet to be fair not bothered goes well anyways, but probably will do in future, love it to pieces want to remap and flash the gearbox aswell, and maybe a hybrid turbo in future as well heard they can hit around the 410bhp mark but more then happy at the mo with it
