Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed the video! Overall I recommend just getting the solid plastic pieces. The other ones are just too much trouble to install. Links in the description! Don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe!
You just need to tuck it in behind the light strip and the door panel. On the driver side I did struggle a little because the light strip was like stuck to the door panel, so I was using like a flat screwdriver to separate it. Not sure if it makes sense. All 3 other doors were pretty easy. I had enough material left that I also put some on the light strip that goes around by the a/c controls. Thanks for the videos you put out.🙌🏼🙌🏼👍🏼
I just got the silicone ones in the mail today from a UK eBay seller who claimed like you said “way better than the plastic ones”… and lemme tell you this thing is a B*TCH to install! I’ve been at it for 45 minutes and have half the driver side door installed! I was going to buy the plastic ones for the 3 series but the UK eBay seller told me they fall out on bumpy roads and rattle with the bass turned up in the car.
I couldn’t lol. I gave up. It just wasn’t worth the trouble… At some point of installing it I heard a loud click and my heart sunk. I thought I broke my ambient lighting… I would recommend the solid plastic pieces for sure
@@ayyyman_ that's the ones that I am talking about. The ones that were made for the 3 series. I tried all of the ways that I could think of getting them to stick. They just won't hold in place.
@@MrVangboi05 ahhhh. I suggest pushing the door panel back a bit. Like where the leather is. That way you can make more room to slide the plastic piece in. I did that and it helped!

I ordered the softer one from the UK and it worked perfectly for me. I had no trouble installing it. It’s looks way nicer now
Nice man! Any advice when trying to install it? I’ll probably give it another shot

Yeah bro it took me two hours to complete the driver side I gave up 😂😂😂
when i do everything in bimmercode do i need to remove the adapter or can it be left attached to the cart?
After you’re done coding, you can just press “Disconnect” in the app and remove the OBD adapter from the car. It doesn’t need to remain plugged in
@@ayyyman_ thx bro
works with 5 series?
I have those same harder ambient lighting pieces and how in god's name did you get them to hold in place!? I've tried and failed many many times.
