I'm there 6 nights a week (back and forth from LAC/SBC to Lost Hills) for me in an '08 Freightliner Columbia day-cab with loads up to 45,000 lbs some nights.. the road repairs don't last very long.
Was just up there last week runnign a load of cars to bakersfield from IE. Thank God the yfinally are fixing the truck lane, at least northbound. That dam nroad will eat you up LOL! And yeah, you need GREAT brakes coming down! And a bottle of Tums for the first time driver hehe...
O the Grapevine. I got pulled over doing 75 once there. Cop wrote 74. But you gonna catch hell when the computer cops come and blast you for driving too fast. Was that a bear at 2:00 in the black car?

Made many quick midnight runs from san diego to hanford, always with a quick stop at frazier pass. miss it and nice video.

This was the first road that I ever drove as a trainee for CR England in 2005. Glad I changed companies. What a load of shit that trainer was.
