Red wire is for the 2nd battery kit, it plugs into the Voltage Sensitive Relay. Also look and see if you need to do a initial stretch. I just spooled mine out to a tree, put a little tension on the park brake (not much at all) and winched it in with the remote. This prevents the bottom layers from damage.

I did this after seeing your comment. Used the slope of the drive way and winched into the garage.

You can rotate the leads on the AS-50 in 45° increments. Just pull the two bolts on the motor end cap (they are a 4mm head) and rotate the whole housing to desired direction. Hope this helps!
