I owned a No-Date Submariner 114060 for almost about a year and a half, I wore it as a daily beater and dove extensively with it (from Open Water Cert to DiveMaster) with over 100 dives logged on it. Throughout, it never skipped a beat and was flawless with its finishing (perfectly aligned rehaut etc..). Sold it well worn for a bit more than I paid for it because I thought I was being "financially responsible" but I've regretted it every single day since. Looking to get back into the brand again now with a new piece. If anyone is on the fence about this watch, go for it, you won't regret it.
Amazing review. So thorough. I love how you make these long reviews and talk about everything. Lineage, history, specs ... nothing is left out. As opposed to the 5-10 min reviews there are thousands of. Best review of the submariner that exists i think. Love this review, love this channel. Please keep adding content. Have a great evening!
Finally found the time to watch this, the one hour length had me plan the time needed to watch it, but it was a joy!!! Thank you for the effort and for a very honest review!
Great review! I thought i was the only one facing the minor clasp adjustment issue until i saw your videos. Everyone just mentioned about how great the clasp is but not the flaws, but you did it. Keep it up!
Yeah I noticed there was kind of a lack of good content on the subject of the Submariner and set out to cover every aspect of the watch that I could. It's a long video, and definitely not for everyone, but it's the type of video I wish had existed when I was buying mine.
Picked up mine yesterday (no date) and must say I don't have any issues with aligment. Bezel lines up perfectly, so does the crown on the dial with the triangle above. Only thing that is not perfectly aligned, is the crown on the rehaut, that is in about the same position as yours. No side-to-side play whatsoever in the hinge of the clasp either. All in all a great watch and great addition to the collection!
I love your video. Very thorough and eye-opening. There are a lot of review videos on RUclips basically expecting budget watches to be more perfect than Rolex.
Really great, detailed review. If there’s a more in depth one on RUclips, I haven’t seen it. Easily one of the top 5 most iconic watches of all time. Glad you’re happy with your choice!
Rolex watches are normally sold at high prices but when these are sold at so much low price now it suspects of replica or fake. The image of this watch is now deteriorating...
When you start polishing links in a tool watch, they cease being tools and become items of status. I'm glad the Sub has the brushed SS, unlike the new GMTs.
I'm glad you mentioned the font differences rolex offers. 1000ft = 300 m, 1000ft=300m etc etc. It made me confused until i did some researching and find out, im more confused!! :)
Before clicking on the video I thought, "Oh, great, another Sub review. Why is someone reviewing the new Sub in 2017 so many years after it's release? (eye roll)" But after watching and listening I really like the review. Great job! You hit on some very good points that other reviewers don't mention. Very good review. You mentioned many things I realized with mine after owning it a few weeks. Glad I clicked. My only disagreement with you is about the tapering of the bracelet. I like the taper a lot. I didn't think I would initially because I felt a thick bracelet is good for a tool watch. But Rolex really pulls off the bracelet. Feels great.
Thanks for giving me a chance I appreciate you watching. Regarding the bracelet it’s purely subjective, I’m in no way correct in my feelings on the taper, we all have different tastes and are entitled to them. Still even with that complaint it’s beautifully executed and I do love it.
First honest review I've seen regarding the quality I can't believe those flaws on a genuine watch they claim nothing comes out of the Rolex factory that's anything less than perfect
Longest review i ever watched from start to finish. In terms of minute details, we both have the same perspective. Well done sir. Looking forward to watch more review from this channel
What a brilliant video! All the problems I have with mine you have pointed out which has put me at ease! Especially when you showed the dial in certain lights showed a press ring around where the hands are installed.
Years ago I walked into a Rolex dealer and told him I was leaving for the Cayman Islands in a couple of weeks (which was true) and I had talked to the Rolex dealer there and they had quoted a very nice price. I asked this dealer what he could do and he met their price.
I just bought a Rolex Submariner (no date) from an AD. I very much enjoyed your in depth review. I have the same issues you mentioned, Bezel triangle alignment slightly off and the coronet misalignment. The watch also does scratch easily as you mentioned. However I feel very lucky to find one at all in this market. Do you still have yours? Thanks!
I can understand that, but like I mentioned I looked at several and none of them were perfect. Not to say you can't find perfect examples, I'm sure they're out there. This was fairly typical for what I saw though.
Just bought a preowned in near mint condition for $9500.00 tax included, I feel as though I got a great deal when I saw another one at a jewelry store for $14.999.
I love mine! I wear it daily and it looks great! I only take it off when I am doing anything strenuous (working on my car, carrying heavy things, biking etc). It’s held up great with only minor scratches from the daily wear. If one is too worried about these scratches that are inevitable when wearing, perhaps they bought outside their comfort price range. I wear mine proudly :)
Great review! I have a 2015 hulk and i notice my clasp is sand blasted and yours has a smooth shiny finish..your right about them making little changes year to year.
Thanks for watching Dave, congrats on the Hulk. Regarding those little changes, I guess it doesn't matter but I think I'd prefer things be more consistent so as to not create debate and misinformation about authenticity due to a font being different or the finish of a small piece of the watch.
With mine the triangle offset worried me at first. But then I realized that there is actually a small amount of play in the bevel movement so I can line it up perfectly if I want.
Nice video. Agree with you that Rolex should use an AR coating on the glass. The watch in this video needs AR coating on the glass and bezel. All I could see on the front of that watch was reflection, reflection, reflection. Disappointing.
Very good review. I appreciate the thoroughness which, in my opinion, the watch commands. I prefer the no-date Sub and tend to be old-school in that regard.
I am watching a video while holding an examining my own Rolex Submariner Hulk. Rolex must have listened to you. The crown on my watch on inner bezel lines up perfectly with the triangle and so does the reverse triangle on bezel. But I just got mine 2018
One of the best reviews I’ve watched. Very informative . Didn’t realise could get such a discount. So much misinformation online. I bought a Omega Seamaster Coax ceramic got 30% off at AD on Boxing Day last year.
Ive seen your vid suggested on my search for quite some time but passed it up because of the length. I wish I would have watched sooner because you had great information. I’ll be testing my watches time to see how accurate it is. I own a black Sub and a Batman.
Did some googling and the reason you're seeing a lot of scratches on your Rolex is because 904L steel is softer than 316L. 316L is a harder steele, but it doesn't have the luster and resistance to acids of the 904L.
Just watched this video and it was very interesting to me as I have a copy Rolex. Took note of all the critiques and compared my watch to his. In all aspects mine was as good, if not better. The only difference I could find was where the bracelet joined the watch. My links there are level, his were recessed slightly. All other points such as where it was polished etc., were the same. The face is crystal and the magnifying over the date is exactly the same. I am amazed by the quality of my watch. One comment would be where he criticised the alignment of the L in Rolex under the Rolex crown logo. I think it is meant to be that way as it lines up over the base of the L not the top. My 0 point on the bezel lines up perfectly with the 12 o'clock insignia. The lettering on mine is perfect, the lugs are the same, and most importantly the second hand sweep movement is even smoother than his. The major difference is that mine cost less than $100.00 new in Thailand!.
Does the stem wobble on the Sub when the crown is pulled out like you showed on the Explorer review? I'm a!so curious about the finickiness of the hands when setting time which you also mentioned in the Explorer review.
The crown on the Submariner has less wobble than the Explorer, but there is an amount I would describe as typical for a mechanical or automatic watch. The hand setting is also less finicky but it’s still mildly annoying to try and perfectly align the minutes hand to a minute graduation on the chapter ring.
Thanks for watching. I actually feel like there aren’t many really comprehensive reviews of the Submariner. Lots of short videos but nothing that gives this watch the attention it deserves. Hopefully I was successful in filling that void.
The lack of at least an AR coating on the underside of Rolex watches is really bothersome to me . I have Tudor Pelagos with underside AR , a Sinn 104 with dual AR, and an Explorer 214270 . The difference is night and day , and I think I may be spoiled now. Id be lying if a part of me wasnt wanting to flip off the Ex 214 for something different . Not only because of the AR issue , but also , the lack of date feature which I thought I could live without , I cant . Any suggestions on a versatile piece 36-40mm, AR coating , with a nice bracelet , and in house movement ??Excellent in depth review , btw . Thanks , Joe.
Thanks for watching Joe. I sold my Explorer after a few months, it’s nice but I wasn’t in love with it. I’m not sure what I’d go with to meet that criteria, 36-40 with AR/bracelet and in house. I’ll think about it.
You go into such great detail, I’m so anal even when it comes to fingerprints on my iPhone screen that I would probably do that if my sub had all those problems lol...your review reminds me of Savagegeese...you two should get together and do a group review #epic
Just got home from Cayman. I did get my SS Sub. Your video really helped a lot. Thank you for your help. Really looking forward to the 3135 movement video. Cheers
Very thorough video describing the best of the penultimate submariner date. I have a 2016 sub date. And love every nano meter. Yes little niggles of imperfection but I don’t care. It feels and wears fantastic. And when I want the feel of the older style oyster case, then I wear my Pepsi 16700. I can feel the difference immediately. Keep up the good work. Glad to subscribe.
Thanks for watching I, appreciate the feedback. Enjoy the Sub and the 16700. If you ever get bored of the Pepsi let me know if I can take it off your hands!
Thanks for the great review, Guy. A question for you if I may: does your bezel have any back play? I’ve recently purchased a 114060 and, annoyingly, the bezel is misaligned and has a small amount of back play. Thanks in advance!
I can’t remember if I mentioned it in this video, but yes there’s a little back play. Honestly I can’t think of many dive watches that don’t have at least a little.
Thanks. Yes my rehaut is pretty much in the same place as yours. I haven't had any QC or bedding-in experience with the clasp. I also had a complete change of opinion about the chunkiness of the case after getting used to it. I think my original opinion was formed because you had the cool or big guys like Clint wearing the original size and I presumed I wouldn't be able to pull off the look on this new huge looking watch. When I tried it on I could see compared to many modern watches it wasn't as huge as I had first perceived and after a while of wearing it it also became clear that the other reason for my hesitation was simply that I had got so used to wearing/seeing the old case on my gmt that it was a matter of perspective. Oh well, we live and learn. The lume is obviously an area that needs to be improved on all watches. Tritium is great while it lasts and luminova is just about ok, not sure how practical it is for diving on a military mission in the dark, early hours of the morning.
Thanks for watching Kel. Like myself, I’ve spoken to a lot of people now that had a change of opinion on the super case after spending some time with these watches. Both styles are nice but I don’t regret getting this one and I like the case proportions very much.
Great review! I agree that the glidelock is too “glidy,” making the adjustment a two-hand operation: I have to take the watch off my wrist to even slightly adjust the bracelet. Which is hazardous (the glidelock of the Seamaster 300 Master coaxial can be adjusted “on the fly” with the watch on your wrist.) Also, my gripe for all Rolex watches, the coronet logo on the watch crown is rarely lined up with the case. Not even close, it could be upside down. I guess Rolex doesn’t care. The Patek’s logo on their crowns is always perfectly lined up with the case, so how hard can it be?
Yeah the glidelock is good, don't get me wrong, but no one mentions that it does have some shortcomings. It could be better. I don't mind the logo on the crown night lining up, but as you say, how hard can it be to do it right? I'm sure they could if they wanted to.
Is it normal for the 30Min marker on the bezel not to align to the 6 o’clock marker when having the triangle on the top aligned to the 12 o’clock marker?
Good video, Guy. I'm not even a Rolex fan but I enjoyed your very honest perspective. It's interesting to me the things you pointed out about the thicke, more squared lugs and the taper of the bracelet. Those are the reasons the Submariner does not appeal to me. But to each their own. Btw, I agree with you about the accuracy. I would consider it defective if it didn't meet their Superlative Chronometer spec too.
Great video! Got me one and was wanting to learn more about it. Also yeah, the triangle at the top of the bezel doesnt align correctly with the 12 o'clock line and it bothers the heck out of me.
Omg, I picked one up at an AD this weekend and my sub is perfect all around. I watched the video while checking my watch! I need an accuracy test now. Awesome video
If you put the watch on a perfectly level table (like spirit level accuracy) it should align. We tend to not hold things perfectly level as we favour our stronger side (right hand side for most). The 3D stepped chapter ring creates an optical illusion. Have another look when the watch is perfectly level... you are tilting the watch to the right for pretty much the whole vid. 🤔
The cyclops for me has never been a problem. I've had a GMT on my wrist for over 50 yrs., along with other Rolex sport watches. Some people go off the deep end with the cyclops. Anyway it is a good video. The video on the 36 mm day date was good since I could look down at my DD on my wrist okay I see. I still look at the DD and cannot believe I have one. But I drive a Hyundai.
Of the current Submariner models I would take the no-date. If I needed a date I would go with a vintage Sea Dweller Deep Sea 116660. If you don't have 8" wrists, like I do, the 16600 is 40mm.
Thanks for watching. The vintage SDDS is definitely a cool watch, as is the no-date. Can't go wrong with either of them. I do like the Sub Date though.
I am glad you are happy with your watch. I doubt that it will ever be in my budget. I will piss off the watch purists because my next watch will be a Sea Dweller homage. It will be a Steinhart Ocean 44. It is inferior to Rolex in every way but I am a long way from a $1000 watch let alone $8-10,000. I will have to pick up Lotto tickets on the way home.
Nice review. Torally agree with all you said about the cyclops/date and the maxicase. I was thinking to get the SD4K because I thought I'd prefer more tapered lugs and no cyclops. But I changed my mind and will get the Sub now. Regarding the tiny misalignments, they wouldn't bother me at all and I am VERY critical in general.
Hello Guy. Another very good video from JustBlueFish (why that name, by the way ?) and the most comprehensive Rolex Submariner review available on RUclips. My question though is : after a less than perfect recent experience with the 214270 Explorer from The Crown, why did you choose a Submariner over a Tudor Black Bay, a Seiko MarineMaster or an Halios Seaforth ?
Thanks for watching buddy I appreciate it. I went with the Sub because of the higher end divers it's my favorite aesthetically. I hope to have a Tudor one day, but the Black Bay Diver isn't the model I'd go for. I think I'd get the 36mm BB Heritage. Despite my mild disappointment with the Explorer I didn't hate that watch and my expectations for Rolex were still high, and I definitely wanted to have a Rolex in the collection.
May as well just get a good fake one if you are ok with a bunch of tiny flaws like that. Things like that don’t really bother me, but on a $10,000 Watch, they are unacceptable.
The first one I got had issues with the movement and timekeeping, this one has a few extremely small cosmetic flaws (maybe the first one did too didn't have it long enough to really notice). To that end I'm happy to have a supremely accurate watch as that's most important to me. I lose about 10 seconds a month. A slightly misaligned logo on the dial doesn't matter to me by comparison. I love the watch and I'm happy with it.
Rat Rod Studios - DRR Customs Ltd bloody hell this guy Moaning about bloody Reflective crystal if you not that happy why buy the bloody thing and go and buy a Apple Watch !!!!!!!
very good review. as for the bezel misalignment...try to rotate few times. sometimes it might land correctly...? in mine, every second rotation it fits better...
I would not have paid that kind of money for my watch not to be absolutely perfect! those alignments should not be off at all. Those alignments are what I expect from a $200 diver! The worst part is the misalignment of that crown. I will never buy a new or used Rolex if I can't have perfection! I guess if you like it then that is all that matters. Thank you for the review. I have been wanting to get one at some point in time, so now I will look for something else for less money. I think it is very reasonable to expect perfection for the price a Submariner, Again, thank you for that info.
Thanks for watching. A person is definitely not unreasonable to expect a perfect watch, both at this price point and considering the marketing of Rolex and their claiming perfection. That said I wouldn't write off the brand, just be very observant of what you're getting before you buy. Perfect examples are certainly out there, you just have to be diligent in finding it while shopping.
Waktosha 73 lol. Who cares about perfection. You look down, it says 9 o’clock and you head to your meeting. Then you look down and it says 12:10 and you order a salad lol. Life is too short to care about perfection bro. Regardless of what a material object cost.
JustBlueFish Watch Reviews Great watch review, like you i am very fussy about QC. And after laying down $8 grand i want perfection. Really enjoyed the review
Thanks Jack I appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching. None of my little complaints were deal breakers for me, nor did I feel the need to send the watch to Rolex to address them, but for the purposes of the review I thought it important to outline every detail I could. I still love the watch and wear it almost every day.
If you don’t want to be running to an AD every time a little job needs to be done, good watch and jewellery tool suppliers carry screwdriver sets specifically made for Rolex bracelet screws. About $35 for a set of 6 well made, comfortable to use, ergonomic screwdrivers with parallel blades. There are channels on YT that recommend various useful tools and accessories for owners / collectors of luxury watches. A Cape Cod polishing cloth and a piece of Scotchbrite will take care of any wee scratches and scuffs as they occur.
The most detailed review of the submariner! Awesome video brother! Just bought a submariner and I just have to watch this again.😀 Annoys me though that my pip doesn't also align at the 12 o'clock marker. Shows that a rolex watch isn't that perfect as we thought it would be. But still a damn good watch!
Great review. It was very in depth. I have a question regarding your opinion on the movement of the watch. I have researched that the Grand Seiko has a much more accurate movement and cost a few thousand dollars less than than the Sub. What are your thoughts on this? How can you explain or justify buying a Sub for close to $9k when a $5k watch has a more accurate movement? Why do you think Rolex hasn't addressed this issue? Even your watch did not keep time accurately. I feel that for a Rolex, one should expect the most accurate time keeping instrument. Thanks.
Well comparing a Spring Drive to an Automatic, when discussing accuracy isn’t fair. They’re different animals. That said, to get to the core of your question, how do you justify the price difference? It’s hard to, the Grand Seiko is impressive and a good value by comparison. For me, I still prefer the Submariner. I like the size, style and aesthetics better (among a few other things). Some things are more important than value for money for some people.
@@JustBlueFish I actually also prefer the Sub over the GS. But I have limited experience dealing with watches so I figured I would ask someone who knows watches.
really apperciate your honest & full review. you sir just opened my eyes about rolex. i really love 116610ln eventhough will never gonna get in this life. thank you anyway for those infos. keep it coming & cheers. :)
Thanks for watching and for the feedback I appreciate it. And don't worry. There's no shortage of great quality and much more affordable watches on the market. The Submariner isn't the end all be all.
Superb review and subscribed. Picked my Sub Date up 4 weeks ago and have watched pretty much every Sub review and I'm pleased to say that I think yours is the best. Very in depth and some of the criticisms I agree with, though all said and done it's a stunner of a watch. Thank you for putting the time and effort into this review.
Very good review. My OCD thanks it! I have a brand new Sub with a cyclops missalignment by only with a half degree, but after reading on Rolex forum it is totally acceptable. Nice watch!
Submariner - The Movie.
Hahaha, ya pretty much.
ha ha ha' good one!

At fifty nine years old I can tell you that the cyclops magnifier is very much appreciated.
Same here , much prefer date/cyclops
Who spends an hour reviewing a watch???? You did. And I appreciate it. Thank you. Subbed.
Thanks for checking out the review and for the sub.
Someone that spends 8k for a watch, I don't blame him!

Thanks for finding the time to watch and for the feedback I appreciate it.
The proportions of the bezel to the supercase is just perfect when you see it in person, and continues to grow on you over time.
Absolutely one of the best watch reviews I've watched...damn near every visual detail of the watch was covered. Great job!
Great review! I thought i was the only one facing the minor clasp adjustment issue until i saw your videos. Everyone just mentioned about how great the clasp is but not the flaws, but you did it. Keep it up!

When you start polishing links in a tool watch, they cease being tools and become items of status. I'm glad the Sub has the brushed SS, unlike the new GMTs.
I kinda like the PSL's of on the GMT, I just wish it had a glide lock clasp.
Best review I've seen on the Submariner and very honest. Subbed

Jsuarez6 gotta agree. I love the taper as well. But for a beefy tool watch, check out the IWC Aquatimer. 42mm version. Very sweet piece.

Picked mine up from the ad Sunday gone and I must say I am over the moon with it. Great review pal.

Congrats, always nice to hear when someone finds one. I do still have mine. I’ve done several update videos on it over the years.
If I'm paying 6000 + USD for a watch, I would be deeply bothered by those misalignment and inconsistencies.
I can understand that, but like I mentioned I looked at several and none of them were perfect. Not to say you can't find perfect examples, I'm sure they're out there. This was fairly typical for what I saw though.
I understand. And thanks for the honest and thorough review.
That's even worse that none of them were perfect :-(
So much for their supposedly rigorous QC...
$10k + tax brand new if you're lucky. Most likely $13k+ for a used one.
@@CommandoMaster it's 8000+$ at retail. If you buy at grey market, then yh... you will pay 12k .
I totally agree with you... when I think of a Rolex, in my mind I see the cyclops. Great review.
Thanks Ricky
The last time(20 years ago) I asked dealer when they would have sales, he said never. And you got 10% discount, that was good.
Thanks for watching.
The scratches u will get on every watch just enjoy wearing its a expensive daily rocker just cool rock solid watch
Very true, thanks for watching.
Just bought a preowned in near mint condition for $9500.00 tax included, I feel as though I got a great deal when I saw another one at a jewelry store for $14.999.

I must commend you again on what I consider to be unquestionably THE best review on my favorite watch in the world.
Thanks Stephen I appreciate it.
JustBlueFish Watch Reviews No problem.
Such the Perfect time piece ❤
For me, the best in depth review from the Sub. Great.
Thank you I appreciate that.
JustBlueFish Watch Reviews wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Germany.
Thanks, same to you!
Great stuff. I love the detail. This is what watch fanatics like to see in reviews.
Thanks buddy. I'll have a full featured length review of the Omega Speedmaster Professional coming soon so stay tuned.
Stellar review. You take your time and leave no questions left unanswered.
With mine the triangle offset worried me at first. But then I realized that there is actually a small amount of play in the bevel movement so I can line it up perfectly if I want.
Longest watch review I ever viewed but I enjoyed all of it. Great job, thanks.
Thanks for watching I appreciate it, glad you liked it.
Nice video. Agree with you that Rolex should use an AR coating on the glass. The watch in this video needs AR coating on the glass and bezel. All I could see on the front of that watch was reflection, reflection, reflection. Disappointing.
It’s a common complaint among owners and potential buyers.
Very good review. I appreciate the thoroughness which, in my opinion, the watch commands. I prefer the no-date Sub and tend to be old-school in that regard.
Thanks Stephen. There’s nothing wrong with the ND Sub, I’d be happy with either.
Great review man!! Probably the only watch review i ever watched thats an hour long👍👍👍
Best Regards,
WCS
Thanks I appreciate you checking it out. Happy thanksgiving.
This review is the best and most detail one i had watched. Keep up the good job. Cheers
Thanks for watching I appreciate it.
Your observations mirror my own with my 116610 LN almost perfectly. Glad to know it’s not just me! 😀
Great review! I am 100% with you on the super case. Love my 114060 :)
Thanks for watching I appreciate it.
I am watching a video while holding an examining my own Rolex Submariner Hulk. Rolex must have listened to you. The crown on my watch on inner bezel lines up perfectly with the triangle and so does the reverse triangle on bezel. But I just got mine 2018
I don't think the fine people at Rolex are watching my videos, but that would be cool!
I am saving money to buy a submariner, such a beautiful watch , hopefully I can buy one in 2023
904l steel has less carbon in than 316l steel which is why it scratches easier. It’s a softer metal but it has better corrosion resistance properties
Very well done! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks for watching and for the feedback Chip. I appreciate it.
One of the best reviews I’ve watched. Very informative . Didn’t realise could get such a discount. So much misinformation online. I bought a Omega Seamaster Coax ceramic got 30% off at AD on Boxing Day last year.
Thanks for watching Paul. Congrats on the Omega that’s a great watch.
Ive seen your vid suggested on my search for quite some time but passed it up because of the length. I wish I would have watched sooner because you had great information. I’ll be testing my watches time to see how accurate it is. I own a black Sub and a Batman.
Thanks for giving me a chance Hector. I hope you stick around and enjoy my future videos. Which gets more wrist time, the Sub or the Batman?
Thorough and objective, and fair for the money needed to own one.
Thanks Jose.
Did some googling and the reason you're seeing a lot of scratches on your Rolex is because 904L steel is softer than 316L. 316L is a harder steele, but it doesn't have the luster and resistance to acids of the 904L.
I have read the opposite, that 904l has a slightly higher Vickers hardness then the typical 316l used on watches.
A great and thorough review. Thanks.
brizza72 thanks for watching I appreciate it.
Thanks for watching.
Finally a real review of this watch.
Quite a few Grand Seikos that should fit your bill. Apart from that we also have the Omega SMP/Aqua Terra, though those are at 42/41mm.
Spot on man . I definitely see a grand seiko in the near future . Most likely their spring drive . thanks
Spring drive looks awesome I’d like to have one too.
I’ve heard if the triangle doesn’t match up perfectly, you can send it back to them to fix
Yeah I wouldn't want to put it in the mail and wait for something that small.
You go into such great detail, I’m so anal even when it comes to fingerprints on my iPhone screen that I would probably do that if my sub had all those problems lol...your review reminds me of Savagegeese...you two should get together and do a group review #epic
Looking forward to it. Might pick up the sub in Cayman today. Found it for around what you paid with no sales tax.
Great price with no sales tax, I hope you get it. Good luck.
JustBlueFish Watch Reviews lol. Haha my man. Stumbled upon that piece. Trying to hold on with two hands!!! :)
Best review in my opinion. If I would do reviews, I would do them like this. Thank you!
Amazing review dude! Congrats!
Thank you
Thanks for the great review, Guy.
Thanks for your reply - much appreciated.
Is that an impression where the hands are attached? When you hold it at an angle you can see a dip. Is that a known issue with Rolex subs?
Yeah that's normal.
I don't know, give Rolex service center in Dallas a call and ask.
Thanks for the reply.
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you gave my video a chance even if you're not a big fan of the watch. I appreciate it.
Nice! How long did you have to wait for it?
Maybe today I am getting a sub date.
I went grey 😬
@@stiggeltime9182 I purchased a sky dweller in June 2019 and received an email for the sub in October
Thanks for watching.
DOES ANYONE HAVE AN SKX013 THEY COULD LEND TO GUY FOR A REVIEW??
Thanks enjoyed listening to this nice vid and wish you happy thanksgiving
Thanks for watching and happy thanksgiving to you.
I agree with you, that's exactly what it means. (because that's exactly what it says, it is not debatable)
ya that’s my thinking too.
Thank you very much for the review.
Thanks for watching.
Steinhart look like quality watches, no shame in owning one of them.
hands down best rolex review
Thank you sir.
Thanks for watching Jean, enjoy the Sub!
This is an excellent review of the Submariner date lume noir. I can confirm you did notice all the good things and the minor flaws in it. Nice job.
Thanks for checking out the video.
LN= lunette noir
I really want to buy a new one. Wish I could find one!!
Perfection is the enemy of the good. If you are perfectionist, you will go through life bitter and full of disappointment. IMO.
Locutus D'Borg I do expect perfection at that kind of money. It already cost way more than it is worth before the bad qc.
Waktosha 73 lol. Who cares about perfection. You look down, it says 9 o’clock and you head to your meeting. Then you look down and it says 12:10 and you order a salad lol. Life is too short to care about perfection bro. Regardless of what a material object cost.
That may be true. But if your paying for the said perfection, that is what you should expect.IMO
I love your sincere and knowledgeable reviews.
Thanks and congrats on the Sub!
Very very good presentation. Keep up the good work
Very in-depth review buddy👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Best,
Hisham.
Thanks.
Are you talking about the Grand Seiko spring drive movement? Their automatic movements aren’t as accurate as the Rolex.
@@JustBlueFish Yes, the spring drive.
How old are you! In the USA with a 5 year plan you can make over 100K very easy... in as little as 2 years! This is a 8.5 /7.5K watch.
Hi there, what’s the name of the Rolex book in the back ground and where can I get one?
10- 08- 2020 , JBF - do you still have the sub ? is it your daily wear ? have you added to your watches ? ~ JDS/CT
Awesome, thank you!
Guess I got really lucky, my 114060 has perfect alignment under 8x magnification!
Always nice to see that!
Very good review. My OCD thanks it! I have a brand new Sub with a cyclops missalignment by only with a half degree, but after reading on Rolex forum it is totally acceptable. Nice watch!
how long did you have your rolex explorer before you sold it?
I had it for a few months. 3 or 4 roughly.
