never used my machine to cut fabric with. what would I set my needle pressure and any other setting on the machine ...I have the CM350 model. can I do more then 1 sheet of fabric. 100 % cotton for quilt blocks
Hi Mary Lynn. You can only do one layer of fabric at a time, but you can put several different pieces of fabric on the sheet and then cut different shapes from each of them. Thank you for your video. I was wondering since you posted this some time ago. Does this new sticky last for quite a while or only a few times? I know it won't probably last as long as the original surface but just a rough idea of what to expect after the retacked surface. Thank you
It depends on how often you use your sheet but it should last for quite awhile as it is really sticky!
May I use it for Heat Transfer Vinyl?
This is to make the mat sticky again so it can be reused rather than buying a new mat. Are you wanting to use this technique on heat transfer vinyl to make it sticky? If so, I haven't tried this so I'm not sure if it would work. If I misunderstood your question, please let me know.
@@Chatterboxquilts Ohh sorry, I mean it's for the mat, you said to cut fabric and not for paper, I want to know if may i cut HTV on that sticky mat.
Ah, I haven't used HTV myself, so I'm not sure about that. It makes the mat very sticky so my best suggestion would be to try it with a small piece of HTV to see - I'm just afraid that it might not come off the mat very well as the mat is quite sticky after you've "re-sticked" it.
