Before I allowed the music to continue, I thought it would be fitting for me to finally say thank you to the producers and all the other staff responsible for putting this show together. It had an amazing run, but back in the early days (I think it was NBC) when it was on air, it was making an impact like no other, on American social consciousness...I think it was unique in the way that helped bring closure to so many areas of thought curiosities and thought provoking tragedies. The stories of Amelia Earhart, Marilyn Monroe, Edgar Cayce, the Rev/Dr. Martin Luther King, the Kennedys, the border crisis (they covered the tunnel UNDER they border and thats not even on the news now) and a slew of other stories that did nothing less than caused me to be a researcher, verifying all that I was and still learn of. Now, having said that, I don't think that they could have picked a better host than that of the legendary Robert Stack (please look up The Untouchables, here on YT, for references) to deliver their content. He added to the show an air of mystery and intrigue that made *Unsolved Mysteries* stand out even more, head and shoulders, above all others, in my opinion. Separating twins is the cruelest thing ever. 😩😭 They separated them and then sent one to a “temporary “ home and “lost track” of her?!?! Bloody nightmare. Just. WoW! 🤨
As a fellow twin growing up in the 90s, (born in 1987), its was not always fun. We did get picked on at times. And the older we got, the more things changed between us, he stayed skinny, I put on 30 pounds, he smokes, I dont, he drinks different beer, and so on. But we do have a few things in common, like long hair, a beard, and we love the women were with deeply. I'm soon to be married, and someday I hope he does too.
I'm a twin and have the exact opposite scenario, my twin and I are literally mirror image opposites both physically and personality wise. It's really interesting, we couldn't be any more different. It's like seeing a version of yourself if you had gone down a completely opposite path in Life, you can see your faults and your positive traits a lot more clearly🙃
Usually twins give me the creeps.. there are these two guys on the pool league they are identical they do not dress the same but slightly.. they both are like top tear pool players.. one though is like super nice and always smiling always telling jokes and laughing and the other ones like serious.. like which one came out first why is he so damn serious and the other one is just like outside you know inhaling helium balloons just to make a funny voice.. I mean he doesn't actually do that but it's just like how opposite they are but how exactly the same they are kind of strange. My sister technically twins would look alike except for she's really pretty and I'm kind of ugly but we were still born 18 months apart and yet we look exactly the same so to speak. There’s an incredible book called Blueprint by Prof Robert Plomin in the UK that details a 30 years study on identical twins. It essentially proves nature over nurture as being the more powerful force that shapes someone. Identical twins (same dna) raised in different environments are much more alike than unrelated siblings in the same environment

What kind of justice is it if you deliberately murder someone and only get 15 to 36 years. What constitutes life in prison? And the stepdaughter only got five years for her part? There are drug and theft offenders serving more time than that.
No matter how alike or unalike identical twins are, we need to get rid of the idea that they are, or all want to be, Kate and Dupli-Kate. Sure it's fun for a little while as kids, but I don't know a lot of people who want their identity lost in someone else.

@@bryantbillips4064 the original comment is referring to Albert Fish. Albert Fish was born May 19th in New York City in 1870. He was known as 'The Gray Man' and 'The Werewolf of Wisteria'. He was a serial killer who slayed children and ate them. When police asked a woman to describe him she said he was "gray in both appearance and demeanour". The child rapist and cannibal Fish boasted that he had children in every state. He only chose victims who were either mentally handicapped or African American. Fish tortured, mutilated and murdered the youngsters with a meat cleaver, a butcher's knife and a small handsaw, solidifying his reputation as the most vicious child slayer in criminal history. Though barely literate, Fish wrote taunting letters to the parents of his victims gruesomely detailing how he slayed, butchered, cooked and then with great enjoyment dined on their offspring. He would inevitably declare that a child's roasted rump was the most toothsome dish in all gastronomy. Additionally, Fish was a masochist and would insert wool doused with lighter fluid into his own anus and set it alight for his own enjoyment. Fish was finally arrested and he immediately began confessing to killing 700 children. He was dizzyingly happy, smiling as he described the grisly details of the tortures and the murders appearing to the detectives 'as the devil himself'... I mean this guy was a real jerk!

Love it especially the recent season 3

Children had a hard time back in the day in Tennessee didn’t they? God bless them.🙏🏽
I worked with two sets of identical, twins. It is obvious that denticle twins have an unexplainable connection and silent communication. One of the sets of twins call their psychic ability “twinning”.
That bullet sounds like it was used on 22nd November 1963.
13:50 to 14:10 What the UPDATE on Danny Paquette's murder does not tell you is that Danny's stepdaughter, Melanie Cooper, accused Danny of sexually abusing her. She told her friend, Eric Windhurst, about what Danny did to her which is why Eric shot Danny. Whether or not Danny Paquette did sexually abuse his stepdaughter is not certain. Considering that _Unsolved Mysteries_ never tells you WHY Danny was denied access to his children... who knows?
interesting, any source for that? i would like to know more
but even if he was a rapist, murder was not the solution
There's always so many sides to a story...
this is the best UM intro i have seen so far
The music always scared me😂but yet here I am at 3:00 am watching it
That's a brave little girl. I'm proud of her
@Janise Lopez, same here. Poor little girl. I can’t imagine someone conning their way into my house and telling me a lie that they’re either police officers, salesmen or saleswomen, or even doctors. Now, living in this world for nearly 40 years, I know that most people in general normally aren’t like that, but in this case, Kenneth R. Stanton was conning since the late 1950’s early 1960’s.
It is a miracle I don't want my RUclips followers think I'm lying cuz I ain't play the video about 10 days unsolved mystery video is playing it's a miracle a movie make me happy too❤2024
Child mol3$ters don't ever rehabilitate. Why are they let out?
Great question. I wish someone would answer that. Its been proven over and over you can't rehabilitate these people. Nothing is going to take that urge away.

I just love the twins names, LaVona and LaVelda! 🥰🥰
Those actresses were cute!

Those two that killed Danny should of got way more time then they got. Those sentences were ridiculous

Danny molested Melanie. It's why Eric killed Danny.
It's Insane how many UM Episodes end with "...and has since been released...", especially when it's essentially Capital Murder. The bimbo daughter should've served 15 minimum herself.
No justice for Danny or his mom
How so?
The twin sixth sense is just quantum entanglement.
wow! the police back in the day were so freakin stupid! who the hell sets themselves on fire and then crawls into a barn to die.
There’s something so interesting about witness testimonies that young boy was able to remember that license plate number . Idk how some witnesses actually remember these details . I can’t even remember the cashier I see almost all the time .
Thank you Unsolved Mysteries & law enforcement, for getting together & getting Stanton off the streets

The Danny Paquette murder was covered in detail in a series called Unusual Suspects Season 2, Episode 2.
Yea..should have left this one alone
Was a bad dude
I'm trying to find the episode with the old man ghost saying "I KNOWW WHYY I DIE.. I KNOWW WHYY I DIE".. And I think there was maybe slime oozing out of the fireplace.. does anyone remember this??
That's the key to interseller space travel. If we can figure out why they feel the pain at the same time over thousands of miles..? That's the key to unlock time and space travel.. It's all based on the power of love besides them being twins.
Harnessing vibrations through body fluids. Something like that.
To expand on your comment…we are made of star dust. Scientists have already determine that at a quantum level (beyond atoms) twin particles can instantly appear/react in different places in space. I believe the answers to this phenomenon is based on quantum mechanics.
How sad he couldn't take care of the twins
The ending/credits theme is great too but didnt scare tf out of me like the intro theme and update used to. Loved watching these and rescue 911
said he was a policeman checking the milk!!!! I have heard the use the parents if they are related telling the child that 'mom would be so upset/sad' if the child told!!! No matter what they say, lock them up, no key for that door that keeps them away from children!
What kind of justice is it if you deliberately murder someone and only get 15 to 36 years. What constitutes life in prison? And the stepdaughter only got five years for her part? There are drug and theft offenders serving more time than that.
I *believe* I read somewhere that she claimed Danny violated/abused her. Courts may have given a lighter sentence to them on that claim
Yep
A shame.
That’s just what i was thinking watching the update 😢 murderers getting less than drug offenders and thieves😊??
No matter how alike or unalike identical twins are, we need to get rid of the idea that they are, or all want to be, Kate and Dupli-Kate. Sure it's fun for a little while as kids, but I don't know a lot of people who want their identity lost in someone else.
They’ve been coming after the children forever. Next time someone claims that’s a conspiracy theory, remember these stories from decades ago.
In this case it was a conspiracy, one that successfully operated for many years.
In the last case, if that guy doesn't look like a paedo I don't know who does 😮
That looked like a Washington Nationals Cap 🧢 in the beginning.
Good catch! It's a Washington Senators one which existed from 1961-71 and is now the Texas Rangers. The current Nationals took the logo in honor of them. Forgive me if you already knew that lol

@@williamkurzenberger4607 a guy named Eric Windhurst shot Danny Paquette. Supposedly at the urging of his stepdaughter who claimed she was afraid of him and was abused by him and he was acting as a proverbial Gallahad. He was convicted and if I'm not mistaken was eventually released. It's not clear if the abuse allegations were true some believe Danny's stepdaughter wanted him out of the way for selfish reasons and bewitched Windhurst, but he did confess to shooting him from somewhere in the woods. His mother's death remains unsolved, it's officially a suicide but any rational person knows she was likely murdered too, but it appears the two deaths were unrelated now.
@@joshlight6892 Thanks, Josh!
@@williamkurzenberger4607 Yeah, his stepdaughter's boyfriend did it and she was with him at the time. She said Danny sexually assaulted her and that's why he decided to kill him, so the murder turned out to be completely unrelated to his mother's (which is now no longer considered a suicide, but is still a cold case). His whole family actually knew he did it and it was an open secret, to which someone anonymously tipped the family and investigators off.
The punishments in some of these states are embarrassingly short. You murder someone in Louisiana you get life. You don’t serve 12-15 years and then get out. What a joke

"Criminal sexual psychopath" and "released into society" really shouldn't go together in the same sentence, and yet here we are.
Has anyone ever put all the UFO segments from the entire series into one video? Along with all the ghost or Sasquatch segments in separate videos. Would be cool to watch UM with nothing but aliens/UFOs, then a Sasquatch only UM video, followed by a ghosts only one.

He was known as "The Grey Man", the werewolf of wysteria. He was grey in both appearances and demeanor...
Who are you referring to
@@bryantbillips4064 Hah?
@randywilbur3189 the grey man where you referring Kenneth Stanton
@@bryantbillips4064 51:25
