For anyone watching this in 2022 or later, Meg's Ceramic Wax applied onto a DRY panel is incredible. I know instructions say wet. Have seen many comparisons and it's better than products that cost 3x as much!! Try it out.
I’ve used the meguiars ultimate quik wax for a few years now. It’s meant to be a maintenance topper . Never tried the mequiars ceramic spray wax. I’ve used the turtle wax seal n shine. It does hold up long, but it tends to streak where the meguiars ultimate don’t streak. My favorite is the Turtle wax Hybrid ceramic spray coating. That lasts a little longer than the seal n shine. Hardly streaks. I use the meguiars quik wax as a maintenance topper .
The meguiars ceramic spray is actually the best when sprayed on leveled and wiped just like the other 2 were. The whole wipeless spray and rinse off when wet idea is just a marketing gimmick and you dont get the full potential out of the product.
I heard Seal n Shine has some carnauba wax in it. Ice Spray wax is easier. Well the old version was easier. The new improved version has some ceramic which makes it a little more work. I tend to use Spray Wax as my detailer every 3nor 4 days and hit it up with Seal n Shine every month or so.
Does anyone know if there's much difference between the standard Turtlewax Seal & Shine and the "Improved Formula" (sold in the US) version of Turtlewax Seal & Shine?
I wouldn't polish after using a clay bar or clay mitt. I would re-wash the car, then compound + polish if necessary. Once those steps are complete I'd remove any oils or contaminants from the paintwork with some IPA or Bowden's Flash Prep before applying a sealant.

I'm a happy seal and shine user. For the price it's honestly really tough to beat and it lasts through multiple washes.
ice44567 I just sealed the Jetta with it after a compound and polish. So happy with it. Stay tuned for that video.

I am more inclined in using turtlewax. I just want to ask, which shouls I use when the only time i have to make my car shiny is after washing it up?

Hello there what brand did you use to spay the water? Thx a lot
I think meguiars has become what turtle wax used to be when turtle wax sucked. I love seal & shine.
Good comparison vid mate, thanks! Hey, just curious if you have compared these(or their hard & liquid waxes) against Sonax and Soft99?
Accu Cat I have not tested them at all. I’m more of an over the counter tester.
Seal & shine goes on so easy. Best product equal to most ceramic coatings. Just doesnt offer the longevity... but use with ICE... lasts forever. Lol.
What is ICE?
Nice vid mate.
i heard that Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax hide swirl marks and Turtle Wax Seal and Shine doesn't. do you notice the difference on swirls?
I haven’t heard this before, however you can apply Quik Wax on top of SNS if you want.
Impressive torture test! 👍
Good vid bro 👍
Is it necessary to polish after using a clay mit?
