His defense improved as he got older and put on more muscle. He is a better defender now than he was in 2017. The problem is last year Kerr played 3 small guard lineups with Chris Paul, Curry and POD on the court, all of whom are not good defensively. Also Klay was worse defensively. All of those defensive factors were the issue. Dunlevey addressed some of our defensive woes in the offseason by acquiring Melton and Anderson, but he needs to play Moody more as well and abandon these tiny lineups that are poor on ball defenders
100% agree. I would make that trade - JK + GP + pick for LM. It would also open up enough money to sign a vet big backup then cross our fingers. LM is the perfect fit for the dubs, JK has all the potential in the world but is not even close to being the second option on a contending team.

@@ninerempire3398 he isn’t the reason they lost. Warriors have no #2 scorer, and no height or interior defense. That’s their biggest problems.

@@ninerempire3398 Curry has never been a good defensive player. And he was actually worse during the first 2 titles because he was too slender. His defense improved as he got older and put on more muscle. He is a better defender now than he was in 2017. The problem is last year Kerr played 3 small guard lineups with Chris Paul, Curry and POD on the court, all of whom are not good defensively. Also Klay was worse defensively. All of those defensive factors were the issue.
Dunlevey addressed some of our defensive woes in the offseason by acquiring Melton and Anderson, but he needs to play Moody more as well and abandon these tiny lineups that are poor on ball defenders

100% agree. I would make that trade - JK + GP + pick for LM. It would also open up enough money to sign a vet big backup then cross our fingers. LM is the perfect fit for the dubs, JK has all the potential in the world but is not even close to being the second option on a contending team.
