- A Christmas cook week, basically almost like every cook week that we have but it's during the Christmas season making it a Christmas cook week.

Big Mac Stack: 6:57
1. Fry fries
2. Cook Hamburger until cooked through then add salsa, salt, and pepper,
3. Big Mac" Sauce.
4. Seasoned French fries, baked.
5. Lettuce, shredded.
6. Tomatoes, diced.
7. Onions, diced, sautéed and raw
8. Dill pickle slices.
9. Cheese sauce
Put on plate in order given.
Big Mac sauce
1 c Mayonnaise
¾ c pickle relish
½ creamy French dressing
1/2 tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
Note: Also added mushrooms to the line up.

Oh sure we do although usually by the time i get to wanting to make pizza my menu is full for the week, but maybe one day, i could also film even when it's not my cook week but i have to with people that are comfortable with me filming.
@@gisellewaldner9406 I don't know about how you make pizza, but it's kinda messy when I take a shot at it. Filming someone else would probably work out great from the perspective of keeping your camera equipment clean! Hope y'all are staying warm up there. Y'all keep bombing us here in the US with Canadian Cold Fronts. We'll send a little Global Warming back at you!

That dessert that your mom made, looked delicious! I never tire of your vlogs, no matter if it is a cook week, bake week, or harvesting video! Your videos bring me so much peace and joy! I wonder if you guys can have a coffee party where everyone can get to get her and have different coffees and or lattes around a campfire, while singing carols! I also loved the last clip of you and Kona! My grandparents loved hearing the choir sing Star of Bethlehem!
We want to have some sort of caroling this year, we still have to figure out how we would do it 😊

As a Mennonite and my husband is a Amish we have God in our heart. We pray before we start in our house work and before we go to bed. I love cooking and baking my Mennonite family recipes and my husband Amish family recipes.

Giselle, I can understand how it may get boring to film the same meals, the same chores and tasks as the weeks and seasons roll through the year, but I really enjoy watching your weekly, seasonal, and cook/bake week tasks and identifying with the rhythms of time rolling on. As I am working alone on my own home and garden tasks I feel a little less isolated knowing there are other ladies faithfully gardening, canning, cooking, baking, cleaning, etc. for their loved ones. I do thank you so very much for providing a glimpse of the community life you live.

I would love to know how you make your poutine. My husband is originally from Canada and he talks about that. I would make it for him. The recipes I find here are basically French fries with gravy and a dash of peas. He says that is not what they would eat. I have made a dish that to me is basically cheddar potatoes. He says that’s not it either. Lol. I thought maybe someone from up north could tell me your basic recipe and I could go from there. The snicker cake looks like our trifle. Not my favorite with the peanuts in there. I like peanuts just not in things. Silly I know. Thank you and a good day to you Priscilla.

I made the Big Mac fries for my family last night. THEY LOVED IT! I am glad because they had sausage, potatoes, noodles, corn and cream gravy for lunch at the colony so I to remind them all that I can cook good food too LOL.

I love your cook week vlogs! They always feature delicious food and the love that goes into each meal! Here in the central United States, we call the birthday dessert that your mom made, a trifle. It’s British in origin, but basically it just means a cold dessert layered with soaked cake layers (your mom used caramel for this!), preserves, cream, or other treats. One of my favorite Christmas time desserts is a Peppermint Brownie Trifle! Brownie chunks, chocolate sauce/syrup, peppermint whipped cream, and crushed peppermint candies! ♥️

Your cook-week vlogs are always interesting! The cold air, though, is something you really don't need to share. lol We'll have sub-zero temps along with a snowstorm, next week.
