I find your way of living not only fascinating but beautiful, I didn't go up in a religious beliefs and as a child I thought about many questions that I had, like how did we get here? Why are we here? And I always felt that something wasn't right with our world, I spent 40 years in researching many religions and studied as much information about Ancient civilizations and our history of humanity and found out that there is a lot that they have kept from us, and a lot history is wrong. I don't ask those questions anymore because I have found those answers. I love how you work together and keep life simple and enjoy the world around you, it's a beautiful time to be alive on this planet, and I love coming across people like yourself who to me I would call you a light worker, spreading love and compassion to humanity ❤️ ❤️❤️

I grew up in South Dakota and a colony in the eastern part of the state was good friends with my step family. I’ve been on a colony and seen inside the buildings. It blew my mind and then I learned about Hutterites in a Sociology 101 course in college.
I just came across your RUclips today through shorts. I'm in MB also and can honestly say the life of Hutterites has always been spoken of but yet a mystery as it was usually in the form of story telling vs fact. I think Ive known more of Holdamons over the years and more seen closer to home. Love seeing the reality of a very down to earth and wholesome lifestyle ❣️❤️❣️

I thought of you last weekend when we heard west of us got LOTS of snow! We had a bit but not enough for my little boys, they are bored and waiting for snow to come. Canning is now done here and we were suppose to butcher pigs today. However when I went for my walk the other day I thought I heard the pig squealing so I decoded tp go and check. Low and behold what did I find, yup 10 baby pigs. So no farmer sausage for us this month LOL. It took us a bit to see Gods blessing in it all but a shelter has been put up, a straw bale delivered by our neighbor and people are looking for a good, affordable food source for us. God has it all under control, if He blessed us with these pigs then He will provide! LOL Bless you Giselle.

Seems the weather forecast for you is -7.-8,-9 next week so cold. We had a couple of frosts but since then it has been warm so the Autumn coloured have lasted a long time. There are quite a few pumpkin waffle recipes seems they tend to have ginger and cinnamon in them. I have been gathering bucketfuls of leaves. Giselle, I just found your vlogs in the last week or so. About a year ago, you had asked for suggestions in dealing with migraines. If you are still suffering from migraines, I would suggest trying to determine your triggers. In order to do that, keep a journal to log: How many hours if sleep you got and if you were restless or anything What you did that day and the weather (inside, outside, sunny day, overcast, raining). Also record what you ate, especially spice or processed food and sauces. Record how much caffeine you had and when. Track your monthly cycles Record any migraine symptoms. After a month or two, review all of your entries and see if a pattern emerges about when you get migraines. You may not see a pattern, some people can never determine their triggers. It also may be something you cannot do anything about, like the weather. However, you may discover a link with something you can control, like migraines and caffine. Caffine is one of my triggers, along with weather, fragrance and molds. If I drink coffee, I have to be careful to have the same amount of coffee in a day and by the same time (for example, a mug of coffee by at least 9 am every morning). The other things I cannot control, so I do what I can to help. If a migraine comes on, a dark room and quiet helps--I know that may not be possible for you and your duties. Also, if I can catch mine before the vomiting starts, I can take a prescription dose of Aleve to knock it down. The really fancy newer migraine medications do not help me at all. Aleve in the early stages prevents a full blown migraine. I hope this helps and blessings

How do you store your cannas? I like them and may get a couple of bulbs next spring,. Kona thinks she's a lap dog - and she is. I wish all dogs were treated as well as she. Giselle, I just found your vlogs in the last week or so. About a year ago, you had asked for suggestions in dealing with migraines. If you are still suffering from migraines, I would suggest trying to determine your triggers.
In order to do that, keep a journal to log:
How many hours if sleep you got and if you were restless or anything
What you did that day and the weather (inside, outside, sunny day, overcast, raining).
Also record what you ate, especially spice or processed food and sauces.
Record how much caffeine you had and when.
Track your monthly cycles
Record any migraine symptoms.
After a month or two, review all of your entries and see if a pattern emerges about when you get migraines.
You may not see a pattern, some people can never determine their triggers. It also may be something you cannot do anything about, like the weather. However, you may discover a link with something you can control, like migraines and caffine.
Caffine is one of my triggers, along with weather, fragrance and molds. If I drink coffee, I have to be careful to have the same amount of coffee in a day and by the same time (for example, a mug of coffee by at least 9 am every morning). The other things I cannot control, so I do what I can to help.
If a migraine comes on, a dark room and quiet helps--I know that may not be possible for you and your duties. Also, if I can catch mine before the vomiting starts, I can take a prescription dose of Aleve to knock it down. The really fancy newer migraine medications do not help me at all. Aleve in the early stages prevents a full blown migraine.

How do you store your cannas? I like them and may get a couple of bulbs next spring,. Kona thinks she's a lap dog - and she is. I wish all dogs were treated as well as she.
