I would love to live in a community where people eat together and share cooking duties.
I enjoyed your interesting vlog very much! Thank you for keeping it real. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ continue to bless you with all that you need.
My grandma did something like kneidle back in Belarus. The word kneidle is very much like the Jewish kneidlach. Eaten on Passover made out of unleavened bread, ground up, mixed with water, eggs and oil and formed into balls, and cooked in chicken soup.
Your very lucky. you want for nothing. Yes you all work hard to get everything done. Most people don't have all the mixers, ovens, grinders etc. All of those make your life so much easier. I love watching your videos
So beautiful its my dearest christmas song and you sing it so lovely!!!!Greets from Germany dear Giselle.

The walk was beautiful. I actually miss the snow 🌨️ . No snow in Florida
I LOVE Wassail!! My mother made it every year for Christmas when I was a child, and now I make it for my children. Most people I know has never heard of it whenever I mention it to them. She got the recipe from an old church recipe book in Louisiana nearly 35 years ago. It’s my favorite hot drink. Christmas in a cup! 😊❤️
it is so delightful but, i had never heard of it before i'm glad that i do now 😊
Kona, tell momma she needs to do an "Adventures of Kona," video! We want to see where Kona sleeps and what she does all day! Maybe put a GoPro on her to see where she goes and what she does when momma is busy working! Just an idea!!!
The sunset looked so beautiful earlier in the video.
Oh, your colony is SO BLESSED to have you working in the kitchen. The meals are inspiring!🥰

Thankyou so much for sharing your lives. Especially yours. If it wasn't for you and Adele I think that's her name. She's the other Hutterite RUclipsr, we would never get a peek at your all's lives at all. It's so encouraging that you all work so hard. It's like you guys live life with Passion for G-d. I admit if it wasn't for the Father, our Abba we wouldn't be able to do anything and it would be constant frustration. G-d makes it all worth doing. Lord bless you dear sister in Christ.
Love your vlogs. Love watching you cook and the comraderie in the kitchen. I find peace in watching.

Great video. It's nice seeing what y'all eat from day to day. You should do a cook book of the different foods y'all cook. Y'all stay safe and good luck.

I made a whole bunch of these last year for Christmas decorations throughout our home
I simply love your videos, especially the ones in which you cook for the community. The food you make looks healthy and nutritious and is also so appealing.I think you should write a cookbook. I would definitely buy it.
Yipeeeeee. A cook week 😀. Great crafting. Am making/having mulled apple juice too, it’s great for cold weather days.
Ohhh Miam you make me hungry just looking at the food you make except I don't like parsnip, chick peas and geese.
Delightful vlog, Giselle. I hope you are feeling better from the headache. If you get a chance I would like to know your recipe for the beets and the cabbage salad. In fact I find all your vegetable dishes very appealing. God bless you, your family, Kona and the entire colony!
Hi Giselle, my German husband's family makes Spaetzle with gravey that look like your noodles. And we call that squash Hubbard. Sometimes they are so heavy that my son has to carry it!
Great video, thank you for taking so much of your free time.
this is the first time we have that squash and i understand that someone has to carry it for you i did't know that it could get so big but, i will say it does taste good 😊
Absolutely love watching you, you are an inspiration to me and to so many! I am hooked on all your vlogs!
aww thank you so much 😊
Thanks for another wonderful video. We look forward to them. Hope you all had a Blessed Thanksgiving!!
We have thanksgiving in october
All of the food looks delicious as always :)
Thank you for sharing. Your recipe towards the end "kineedle"(sp?) Is what we would call a dumpling, in the southern u.s. is usually once the dough is made it is cut into pieces then cooked in a chicken broth with butter, salt & pepper with shredded chicken added as an option for Chicken & dumplings😍Their the ultimate comfort food.
Yes, that's exactly what I would say. The "knedel" are dumplings...the kind we would have in chicken and dumplings. 👍
I agree! I was watching and thinking they looked like dumplings
I think every culture has a dumpling for hard times. Pot pie is flat square dumplings with gravy. Rivals is another dumpling made by grating the dough over the simmering broth. Only difference is the shape.
ahh that sounds delightful we have our own version of dumplings that are a different then the ones that i had i that video but, i do agree with you ultimate comfort foods 😊
Giselle, your beautiful videos truly make my day! Many thank yous my friend who I have yet to meet in person! May our Good Lord continue to keep you and yours. Blessings and peace abound--
In English we call the white knadle "dumplings." My mom who is part german used to put those into a thick starchy chicken soup.
She'd roast some chickens in the oven, Add all the pan drippings to a pot with water with extra chicken broth. Chop carrots, onion and celery to boil until soft. Then mix up the knadle dough, rolled it out with extra flour and cut it into rectangle shapes to drop in to boil. Then she'd pull apart the chicken to add at the end after the knadle was cooked. She called it "chicken and dumplings"
chicken and dumpling soup is a very great dish ☺ I always had it growing up as well, which makes sense with half a German, polish, and English family background.
We call them scissor snips in my family. Your recipe is as precise as our recipe! The first time I made them it took two people to lift one because they were so heavy!
I am SO Glad you did the paperbag star!! I was just thinking it might be a fun craft with my grandkids! Looks beautiful and so easy! Thanks Giselle! Much Love from SASK
😊😊
I just adore everything about your videos , I wish I lived in your community 😊
Thankyou so much 😊❤
