- we did have work this week but, it never required more then an hour of our time so I guess one could say we had a free week, I know people are curious as to what I do on days off, well in video you might notice I dabble a bit in everything, keeps it interesting.

One idea: Instead of regular ice cubes, freeze some coffee in ice cube trays and use them instead. This way the coffee isn’t diluted and doesn’t lose its flavor. And that cactus flower was beautiful!
That’s what we do here in Australia!
I make super strong coffee so it tastes okay when diluted with ice and milk or almond milk. The coffee ice cubes are also a great idea & a great way to use up leftover coffee.

Do half of the cubes as coffee and have as milk so it stays creamy

@@janetsides1796 I am so very sorry for the loss of your fur baby. It is not easy. My heart goes out to you. It is not good bye, only until you meet again. No matter what you believe (heaven, Druidism, etc) I believe that on our forever day, we are reunited with our beautiful pets. In time, if you can, it helped me to donate to no kill shelters in my dogs name. Every Christmas and birthday, instead of gifts, my family know that it makes me happier to receive donations to the shelter. I also collect pop cans and return the money I get to shelter. You get the idea. It helps to know another little dog will be helped. If it’s okay by you, I will say a little prayer for you tonight. God Bless.

You can do a dna test and it will tell you who you’re related to if you check the right box. We found a secret first cousin we had NO CLUE ABOUT many states away.
Your group should make a music disc with all the church hymns they sing. To hear them is so refreshing and brings back memories of the older ladies who use to attend church long ago.

Hi Giselle, Doug here from Australia. We have iced coffee mainly during our hot summer months. It can be refreshing and seem to have a cooling effect. The temperature can get easy into the late thirties and early 40 ties. The coffee is prepared just the way you do it, but with hot water, then let cool down in the fridge, usually overnight, then as one is craving for a cup or glass add some Ice cream to it and sip it cold. You need to make a lot, as it disappears while you're watching it. Your surname Waldner goes back a long, long time. Back then, a surname usually identifies one with the type of work one was doing.
In your case, your ancestors were Forrester, or Waldners, looking after the Forrest, maintaining it and harvest and replanting it. Regards, Doug.

Next time you are spray painting small items and the wind is an issue, use a large cardboard box with a side cut out. Angle it away from the wind and spray away.🙂 It also helps to be on the sheltered side of a building.

Whip 2TBSP instant coffee....2TBSP sugar....2 TBSP HOT WATER WHIP it until it has the constituency of whip cream....then put ice cubes in a glass add cold milk and then 2 TBSPS of the whipped coffee and enjoy it's delicious

Sorry you had such a rough week. Hope things are getting better. I live in the states and always have trouble adjusting back to the heat. You have helped me learn about my heritage as well as reminding me its okay to be happy with a more simple life and to find the joy in each moment.

I don’t make a lot of ice coffee because I prefer hot unless it’s really 🥵 outside ! But when I do make it I make cold brew . For cold brew you simply put 1/4 cup course ground coffee for every 1 cup of cold water put it in a glass jar cover and let set on counter or in your refrigerator for 14-18 hours longer then that it might become too bitter . Strain the grounds out after that , then store the liquid coffee in your refrigerator. Hope you like it . I guess you know how to do the rest 🥰

Hi Giselle my name is Gary I just came up on your Vlog I have the deepest respect for your people about 15 years ago I combined wheat in Harlem Montana and we used to visit the colony on a regular basis they treated us so amazingly providing us with vegetables and fresh bread and food they were awesome I really feel in love with the people on Sundays they let us go to church service it was amazing I am originally from England the preacher knew we did not understand your language so he repeated it in English for us it was like we were away from home so they offered us there home to us I was amazed on how far they were advanced I had been to many other colonies that didn’t believe in electricity and modern equipment I also know a lot of people from the South Dakota colony I think you guys are definitely amazing and when we were in Montana they had big cook outs for us I really feel in love with your people simple but perfect life I hope you understand why I had to reach out to you I know I am old to be reaching out to you guys but I had to let you know the experiences I had with your people I just think that it is an awesome way of life so God Bless you all and I really appreciate and enjoy your Vlog ❤️

I used to be headache and migraine prone. About the same time I got stomach ulcers. I had to give up alot of foods because of the ulcers. That's how I found out what was giving me the migraines. You probably don't want to hear it because you love coffee but it was caffeine! It kept me tense all the time and I'd never relax my jaws & was grinding my teeth so bad when I slept I'd wake up my son in the next room! Try cutting back on coffee & see if that helps.👍

Vietnamese iced coffee !! Sweetened condensed milk, very strong coffee like espresso and ice. You could also get the actual Vietnamese coffee filter ...in a glass like in your video put a layer 1/2 to 3/4 inch of evaporated milk. Add another 1 inch of strong coffee. Top with ice and stir stir stir

A combination of therapies have helped me go from daily migraines to once or twice a week.( Hallelujah) Loved the time lapse of the cactus flower.... Awesome editing! For iced coffee I do liquid sugar, sweetened creamer like yours or sweeten my coffee while hot THEN add ice. I loved the closing hymn.... As a Mom in her 40's I've sung that one a LOT through the years 💕
8 to 10 glasses of water every day. Magnesium daily mega doses to the point of loose bowel then back off one. Cut back on the coffee. It is dehydrating. Over 90% of all headaches are based in dehydration.

Catching episodes I missed over the past year. You inspire me to get moving. Love the cleaning y’all are always doing! And you as well
I brew a 14 cup pot of coffee whichever flavor I want maple one-time, vanilla the next, regular coffee the next. Pour it into a pitcher, add my sugar, and stir. Once it's closer to room temp I add the milk and put it in the fridge. I make it in the evenings so it has all night to chill in the fridge. The pitcher I have is enough coffee for me for 2 days.
I just pour it into these coffee cups with lids and straws I got on Amazon. I don't add more ice usually unless I'll be taking it with me out to run errands to keep it colder since I won't drink it as quickly.

I watched Homestead Tessie even before she had the following now. I love her show and her frugal ways.
This is my favorite iced coffee recipe:
In a saucepan, bring 2 c water to a boil & add: 2 c sugar, 1/2 c instant coffee, 1.5 tsp vanilla, & 1/4 c caramel ice cream topping. Let this mixture cool then chill in fridge. Mix with 1 gallon of milk. You can also keep the concrete mixture in fridge & add it to a glass of milk at a time. Delicious!
