I'm Precious, an Emergency Medicine resident physician sharing my experiences through medicine and life. Through my channel I hope to show that life is meant to be lived and enjoyed throughout the journey, not only at the final destination. Along the way, I hope to provide advice to students and motivation to anyone pursing a career in the medical field.

Good luck with the match process!!
The biggest question of life lol - is it possible?! For me, staying organized is what allows me to stay on track and have free time!
Organization is major 🔑
Thanks for all the pearls of wisdom. It can seem difficult at times but it can get done. For me, I know that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. God bless you sis :)

I know this isn't important, but your thumbnail is so pretty. Your nails are beautiful , I'm assuming nail polish is allowed in medicine or I should say while doing residency? I know I sound old but that's because I am . LOL When I was in the med field, I couldn't wear nail polish or long nails. Bummer... I know it was a sanitary thing, but the again that was the time when everyone literally wore all white. Times have changed, but I'm not criticizing at all. Your nails are so pretty and I love the color. Yes, I hear people saying the mask causes breakouts.
Hey! So I believe the same rule still applies regarding long nails not being allowed. I’m unsure the policy regarding nail color. My job hasn’t told me that nail polish isn’t allowed tho 😊
@@WhiteCoatChronicles Ok, no problem its pretty.
💕
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Mascne? Skin is glowing and popping.
She's a melanin queen
Yeah it’s a struggle right now. Jawline mainly!
Does picmonic have a section on oncology and all if its drugs?
Yep it does
Awesome! Thank you
How is residency different from the 4yrs in med school?
Med school = you’re a student learning and taking exams. Residency = you’re a physician working/training in your selected specialty. Was that your question or were you referring to how is balancing different?
@@WhiteCoatChronicles that was my question. Thanks.
So will you say residency is more of practical learning? Like apart from the exam that you'll be taking there wouldn't be any kind of tests right?
@@michelleduku935 residency is a job. So yes, on the job training. Practical experiences.
The exam I’m taking is to complete my medical licensing.
Apart from that, you generally take one exam per year in residency and that’s to prepare you for board certification.
I just got done watching girlfriends 😂
I just found out that you’re Nigerian 🤯
