In 2014 we saw a shift in how you could experience Super Smash Brothers. A brand new iteration launched on the Nintendo 3DS, how was the experience going portable?
Smash for 3DS is sooo underrated. The best part was, IMO, actually the customization. Custom moves were a common complaint, but you are substantially more likely to get moves on the character you are using when you acquire the custom part, so unless you are trying to fully complete Smash 4 it's not too demanding. (Besides, every Smash Bros besides 64 gives Pokemon a run for it's money as the worst to complete Nintendo franchise, be it because of trophy and spirit grinding or completing every mode with every character.) Smash Run was a lot of fun, but honestly, because of Ornes (the instant death, floating skulll enemy with scary music) I was always too afraid to play it (and sometimes I still am. Actual horror games get me less tense than those monsters.)
I remember when this came out. I was a senior in high school and I pre-ordered it on the eShop so I could play it as soon as I woke up on launch day. I remember it felt so unreal finally getting to experience Smash on a handheld device I remember at lunchtime I would go around the school making Mii Fighters of my friends
Guys, something tells me this fella likes the 3DS

Definitely enjoy the thrill of starting the completion grind on Smash but finishing is something else
