Daniel, channel's are good eaten, you know if you git stabbed by spine, just rub it on the side of the fish that stuck you, lessons the sting a bunch. Granddad sweared by it. Worked for me
Yes, yes we are open for business! My cousin and her husband camped down in the Park for the last week, so we could have a nice visit. She says they really enjoyed themselves! Houston landed a super nice bass! We loved fishing off of that dock when my boys were younger--one night we got into a school of them or something, we all bagged our limit in about two hours, then cleaned fish the rest of the night. Love that fish radar he's got, that's really cool. Say, Daniel or DeeJay, I'd dearly love to have a Charlie shirt, any chance they'll be back in stock soon?
Next time you're fiend by catfish, turn the fish on his back and rub the stung part of your finger or hand against his belly a couple of times and it will stop stinging. Enjoyed the fishing trip though.. 👍😎💕

I'm not nor have ever been into fishing but I really enjoy watching you and Houston as father and son out fishing together. i also reckon that Houston has the most gorgeous smile and love seeing it every time. These are father/son times not to be forgotten and will live on in your memories for the rest of your lives and, I expect, Houston will be the same with his kids when he grows up. Love you all and glad you weren't badly affected by the tornados.

I love to go fishing! I’m in a wheelchair now and when my husband passed my son got the pontoon boat we had. He’s fixed it up now and I know how to launch and trailer that boat very well! I will stay out fishing forever! We do have a bathroom on board so I’m good to go! We are putting a lift chair so I can get in the water and safely get out. I’m different from DeJay in the aspect that I love fishing!!!

Y’all sure had fun on your fishing trip. I haven’t gone after our trout here in PA since the 90’s, but I have a pretty good dredge recipe. One cup of flour, one tablespoon of garlic powder, and a tablespoon of Old Bay. Mix well, pour out onto a pie pan, dredge your fish and pan fry it in butter or bacon grease. My finicky late grandmother even went back for seconds! You can really taste the fish.
Oh Dad Houston can only eat 1 bag at a time haha giggle !!! Then it is off to another one for Houston to chew on down for !!! Great Fishing tonight LOVE IT CAST 1 MORE TIME !!!

I love cat fish in Missouri sometimes the water is muddy so we always put them in fresh water over night and that got rid of the muddy taste.

So happy to see Houston wearing a life vest but all should be wearing them especially when traveling on a boat. You never know when an accident can occur such as hitting a submerged log in the water.
Huston - try this on catfish barb pricks. Use turpentine on the spot you got giggled and it'll help heal quicker. An old Cheyenne Indian woman taught me this trick. Try it.

So fun. I've done 2 chartered fishing trips for my nephew on the nearby lake. The first one was awesome - went over time, and fished at multiple spots, used trolling, bobbles, and other things and had a great time. The second one, well, we got fish. We were taken out to a spot, and in less than an hour, the 4 of us had the max allotted # of fish, so trip was over. Only fished in one spot. I won't use them again. It wasn't as fun.

Poor Houston! I can feel his pain 😕. When I was about 8 yo I was carrying a stringer of catfish up a hill. One came hit my arm and sliced it wide open and deep! It hurt so bad! That was 62 years ago and I still have a scar from it!
