People think roaches enter your home if you're nasty or leave food out - That is a LIE - You can have the CLEANEST home on the planet and STILL have roaches - They enter your home for 4 reasons
    1) Escape the cold
    2) Escape the heat
    3) Escape the rain
    4) Escape predators
Finding food in your home is just an added bonus

TRUTH! Another way that roaches can enter your home is hitchhiking on a grocery bag or shipping box. I just had this happen tonight with an Amazon box and I now have a new pet living in my couch. Unfortunately for this roach, my husband is a Pest Control manager and I'm a neat freak, so my new couch buddy will probably not make it to Christmas.

Diatomaceous earth is also a great product and as long as it doesn’t get wet it stays active and it doesn’t contain chemicals that bugs can become resistant to overtime if you live in an apartment or something with a larger infestation and you need to continuously treat.

Mix boric acid, half tube of hot shot and self rising pizza crust with water in plastic bottle. place paper towel in sandwich bag and soak paper towel with solution leaving bag open when placing. Place the bags everywhere and hydrate once a week. Its devastating to roach colonies that feed off the solution soaked paper towel. Allow water bottle to vent for the cooked pizza dough fermenting. Its awesome for killing roaches.

Roaches don't just feed on soley standard food items, correct? They also like stuff like cardboard? They can live a long time on water alone?

    • @Poptartsthatareplain101
      @Poptartsthatareplain101 8 месяцев назад +7

Yup!! I was just reading up on this:
Cardboard: Roaches can feed on the glue and paper of cardboard boxes and packaging materials.
Paper: Roaches may consume paper products like books, newspapers, or cardboard.
Glue: Certain types of glue or adhesive materials can be a food source for roaches.
Pet Food: Roaches can be drawn to pet food and treats if they have access to them.
Soap Residue: Roaches may feed on soap residue or food particles that can accumulate on dishes, utensils, or kitchen surfaces.
Dirty Laundry: Roaches can be attracted to soiled clothing or fabrics, especially if there are food stains or residues on them.
Moisture: Roaches are also attracted to moisture, so any damp or humid areas can be appealing to them.
To help prevent roaches, it's essential to keep your living space clean, store food properly, and reduce sources of moisture. Additionally, if you have any cardboard or paper products that you suspect may have roach activity, consider disposing of them or storing them in sealed containers to eliminate potential food sources.
